@@WMCS Thanks mate Just waiting for the weather to improve, not sure how long it will take this year lol. Few days ago had to scrape off ice from the windscreen. The gear linkage does look a bit different so will definitely drop you a message if I get stuck with it. May not be until June, looking at the forecast. It isn't an urgent job but definitely want to do it before summer. Thanks again for the advice Much appreciated
HitsMetal it’s pretty much the same. If you have a judder it’s either the pressure plate springs are worn or issue with the flywheel. But most likely pressure plate... not really worth skimming a solid flywheel in my opinion but it can be done.
HitsMetal that’s quite a bit of a judder. If it’s a UK registered, send over your full registration and I’ll have a look at what parts involved and I’ll be better able to give you a more accurate opinion.
Hello i would like to know something in the minute 10:04 there is a bolt with a black cap on the right of the screen is this where we fill the gear oil ? Because i have a meriva B too i would like to change the oil and fill with new oil because my gear box is sometime hard when i push the second .. i think may be is the oil level low so i want to take of the cap o oil carter under the gear box putt a new gasket and fill with new oil Second question what kind of oil should i putt ? I have a meriva B 1.7L diesel 110 H
lars ulrich yes that’s an easy way to fill the oil. Is through that cap. It easily pops up. An MTF 75/80 semi or 75/90 fully synthetic would both work... If you’re having issues selecting gears it might be the pressure plate.... unless if it’s doing it only from cold then maybe an oil change might help ....
Brilliant video you must be one of the best mechanics going about, thanks again.
James Mcguire thanks for the feedback
Mega Super Robota 👍kozak👍🇵🇱

Question: How did you bleed this clutch after the replacement?
Thx this is a great video. Is the job similar for the meriva a 1.7 cdti?
Hi Daniel.
If you look through the channel there is a 1.7cdti engine. I will try and find one in a Meriva to upload
Another great job. Was this on someone else's driveway? Is this your full time work? You definitely get a good work out when working from the floor.
Zed Man
Yes this is my full time work. I get through 7 clutches every week.
Are you a mechanic Zed Man..?
Kevin Williams that's pretty good going. I'm no mechanic more of a home mechanic maybe, never take car to a garage lol
Kevin, Have a 1.4 Corsa 2014 Petrol which of your vids more be most relevant? , Cheers
This one right here.
How much would your charge to do a flywheel oil seal on a 1.7 combo van
You really make the most from space and tools, great work and teqnecs. Is this a f17 gearbox and z14xep engine same as astra h 1.4?
Reason I ask is I get clutch judder when pulling away every morning.. I think it's a warped flywheel do you skim/replace these also cheers.
