No problem, I've had quite a few requests to see how it mounts. When I was looking for a batwing for my bike most of the websites promised attaching to the factory windshield mounts, but there was one or two that said you halfto make your own mounts , so just make sure it comes ready to mount and it will be really quick and easy install . Thanks , always nice to get positive feedback 👍 I ordered and installed mine summer of 2019 so part# and pricing may be different but most likely the same. and batwing-fairing.com , checked my old emails and found the order confirmation, part # 13-0302-0305 . Hey where did you buy this fairing?
Good morning, I bought it off of batwing-fairing.com/ , I was originally going to get the 4 speaker set up instead of the two big speakers and I had called them before placing the order to make sure I would be happy and found out that not all of the speaker options are marine rated speakers ( water resistant/waterproof). So definitely make sure your getting something that's good for rain , eventually we all get caught in the rain . Hope this helps and thanks for watching 👍
Do you ever plan on making it full touring with the rear trunk addition? I have the same bike and looking into options.
I've been thinking about it, if I do go that route I'm not sure if I'll buy a rear trunk or if I'll make something custom out of aluminum, if I do there will definitely be a video of it either way I go. Right now I'm making a large big trip one , but it's big and bulky but I'm making it for function not looks lol so it's good practice for if I make something smaller and more practical for every day use .
