Your yard & garden are absolutely stunning!! I’d love a video about your potting area-what you have in it, how you set it up, how you use it, etc. It would be very helpful for us new gardeners!!
Hi Angela, Your completed garden is gorgeous. I learned a lot from you thru the years. Our soil science is totally different from each other. My soil is mostly damp and the environment here in mid-Louisiana is very hot and humid. Just one of the many ideas that I learned from you, which worked great for my garden, is about adding worm compost containers in the garden. Wow!!! I could not dig deep due to my loss of strength with aging. So, I made holes all over the sides of lg yogurt containers, cut our the bottoms, fill them regularly w kitchen compost and cover the containers. W that I have an abundance of red wiggler worms that love my garden. I'm 80 yrs this month w cancer and radiation plus other aging health issues. Our Good God continues to give me courage and strength to continue gardening which keeps me moving and mentally sound. Thank you Angela, for all you do and teach us.
That basketball court brought back childhood memories at my grandparents house. They put in a full court, and my grandmother and I used to use it as a roller skating rink when my uncles weren't playing ball lol. Loved the tour.
I like how organized and intricate your garden is laid out. Looks like it took a a lot of thought. You got skills. I spend too much time in my little garden. I would spend all day in yours.
Beautiful garden! You've raised the bar for me in zone 10b. Only been in AZ for a year with 4 raised beds but will be adding more. This looks like your garden has been going for many years. You have given me many ideas. Thank you so much!
I hope one day to have such a beautiful and productive garden like you. I like how now you can just enjoy your garden and stop expanding indefinitely. I can tell you have peace-of-mind being able to produce plenty of food for your family. Very inspirational!

Great ideas. Thank you for the tour. I finally ordered my first two raised beds in galvanized steel. That pesky termite issue has always prevented me from doing raised beds & my container plants never produce in large enough quantities to make gardening worthwhile. It gets frustrating. Just loving this tour. I'm zone 9b in Murrieta, CA and I'm experimenting with growing potatoes in the fall for the first time. When did you plant your sweet potatoes? We already harvested ours but I'm wondering if I started them too early.

@@GrowingInTheGarden thank you so much!! I LOVE nasturtium. We make a salt with the leaves, eat the blooms on salads. I have heard of the seeds as capers I've never tried them though. I wanted to see a saguaro 🌵. I would love to live in the desert. I used to think the beach was my place to find solace... until I went out west and discovered the desert! The painted desert... The most unusual place I've ever seen! I LOVED IT!! Thank you for letting me ask you questions. I work for a company called Acumen out of Mesa. I think we need to go to headquarters for a meeting...😂
I banned alyssum from my garden because the flea beatles deciminated it and I had grown it for years. I have wild arugla and didn't want to take chance so bye bye alyssum. I loved it though. I know I could use beneficial nematodes but I haven't brought alyssum back.
Great video! We've been waiting for the tour :-) Did you put down weed/grass barrier for your whole raised bed zone? We started over the top of a decades old bermuda grass lawn and it's been a nightmare...
Yes, I put down a fabric weed cloth in most of the areas that had bermuda grass before installing the wood chips and raised beds. The exception would be where I have in ground areas - I did not install weed cloth in those areas.

Yes, year round - what we grow changes with the seasons but I garden all year long.
Where did you get your trellises?
I got the entry arch from Terra Sculpture: www.terratrellis.com?sca_ref=2693320.rpr2HflHtt Here is a video I made about the other ones: ua-cam.com/video/gMW99neaPpc/v-deo.html
@@GrowingInTheGarden Thank you. I have been looking for a good sturdy arbor/trellis.
Ehhhhh it was all great until the ASU part... 😉 Loved all the rest ha. This was so relaxing, thanks for sharing
Ha! You must be in Tucson - I should have had a warning about that part. Go Devils!
Did you start your sweet peas indoors or did you direct sow them? Thank you for the tour :) Yours is my favorite "youtube garden" that inspires me. I hope my garden is as beautiful as yours someday 🙂
I did both - It will be interesting to see if there is any difference in the end. Thanks for watching!
May I come live in your yard? You'll hardly notice I'm there.
Ha! I'd probably put you to work!
Forgive me if this seems like a dumb question but why exactly do you want caterpillars in your garden? I thought they were bad for gardens.
These were butterfly caterpillars although I thought it was late in the season.
Gulf Fritillary butterlies - pollination and biodiversity. Plus, I really enjoy watching the butterflies :)
How many garlic cloves can you plant in a square foot?
I usually do 9
@@GrowingInTheGarden thank you so much!! I LOVE nasturtium. We make a salt with the leaves, eat the blooms on salads. I have heard of the seeds as capers I've never tried them though. I enjoy your channel so much. We went to Flagstaff during the summer, we're from the east coast. The ponderosa pines made us have to leave. Do you have ponderosa pines as far down as you are?
Hola soy de chile y me gustaría poder entender lo que explicas podrías poner traductor en español

Do you ever have problems with people messing with your fruit trees and stealing your fruit? If so, how do you manage that?

Great video! We've been waiting for the tour :-)
Did you put down weed/grass barrier for your whole raised bed zone? We started over the top of a decades old bermuda grass lawn and it's been a nightmare...
Yes, I put down a fabric weed cloth in most of the areas that had bermuda grass before installing the wood chips and raised beds. The exception would be where I have in ground areas - I did not install weed cloth in those areas.
Nice. Garden
