Making a Shelf Out of Wooden Lego Bricks

    Even as an adult, I still play with Legos. I collect minifigures and also design and build small mini modular buildings. I needed a place to display the buildings an this shelf is my solution. It consists of 16 wooden "Lego" bricks built at an 8:1 scale, which fits the buildings perfectly.
    All but one of the joints are held together with just glue. The far right bricks are held together with glue and two screws. The shelf is quite heavy because each brick is solid wood. If I had to build another one, I would figure out ways to make the bricks lighter in weight.
