My daddy died on his 62nd birthday in 1999. Saw Mr.Adkins in Branson at Welk Resort a couple years back and with Mr. Shelton at AAC in Dallas Tx and then Billy Bobs Ft Worth Tx. But when I won a meet and greet to Mr Adkins show in Branson seemed like it was impossible but my wife my best friend in the world said let's go then my 8 year old daughter said daddy youve seen this stuff so many times and its same thing dad I want you to go its important to you and once in a lifetime. My wife took off from work and we drove to Branson had such a good time on the way we laughed and my wife and kids made me feel so special like I was VIP to them and I was. Then now I listen to this song ALONE missing my wife like crazy and my kids so much. Our divorce was finale yesterday and I showed up late because after 23 years it wasn't for nothing and I didn't want it. But now I not only lost my wife but my kids. When we showed up I was ordered to give them to my wife slamed against the wall because my daughter didn't want to go with the police or her mom 11 and son 8 dragged off crying and I tried to keep them but 6 cops and me I didn't stand a chance. Ive got to find a way to get money together to appeal this and bring them back. Oh did I mention because I wasn't there I get 4hrs visitation a month. Seems in Texas you lose by default if you dont show and the other gets whatever they want. See I was late because son threw up on himself because he didn't want to go and was worried about it. I called court and said I was turning around and going to clean him up and was told 30 min. I didn't think it matter if I was late since court was scheduled for 2 days but apparently court decided 1hr and a half was plenty. So now kids are so upset and want to be with me and ive got nothing since lost my business due to covid19, I own a business that broker suites for stadiums and were out of business. Lost house cars everything but not my faith in GOD and my FAMILY. See its destroyed divorce separated us all but GODS got the final word. But Mr. Adkins music was and has been such an inspiration for me and this song reminds me of my wife and my daughters sacrifice to make me feel special AND THEY DID AND IF THINGS STAY LIKE THIS ITS FOR NOTHING AND I DONT BELIEVE ITS WHAT GOD MEANT FOR THIS TRIP. I WILL GET IT ALL BACK LIKE GOD SAID FAITH AND I HAVE ALOT OF FAITH.... THANKS FOR LISTEN AND CARRYING GODS MESSAGE MR. ADKINS ITS WORKING ON ME AND OTHERS IM SURE. GOD BLESS YOU
