Fun fact: at the beginning of the video, I was on the phone with a customer who saw the first “interview” and bought the boots because of Robert and he was back for a second pair 😊🎉
Hey Steph, Just received my replacement boot, I can't thank you guys enough, The Customer Service you guys employ is exemplary!!! / If anyone is on the fence about any of Indie Ridge products, this is your sign, PULL THE TRIGGER, you will not be disappointed!!
I’ve been working with Steve for a few years now and really appreciate his attention to detail and just the way his mind works. Always excited to see more Steve content because he’s great at it.
The description of how they will fit was 100% accurate. I wore my boots as a gift, all day Father's Day and, they had already began to break in at the end of the day. Very comfortable and no one knew they were motorcycle boots until I told them!
Steve is the man. I have 3 pairs of indie ridge boots, all of them get used a lot, especially the vented ones and they're holding up very very well. Theyre the only footwear I wear on my bike anymore outside of the track tbh! Nice to see some more of the man himself, I've never spoken to him outside of Instagram messages! :)
So glad to see your follow-up video with Steve and Indie Ridge, the only American MC gear company that TRULY and SELFLESSLY "gets it" with respect to CE certification. I've been a loyal customer for a couple of years, immediately after calling Steve and him assuring me the CE application process was underway. I bought The Crow, then The Crossfield, followed by The Comanche, and The Armstrong are due to arrive tomorrow. I'm beyond impressed with Steve (and his team's) dedication to safety, and astounded that comfort and style are fortunate byproducts. I only wear CE approved gear, i.e., AAA in jeans, motoshirts, and jackets (all with Level 2 armor), and CE 2 boots from Germany and Portugal. Indie Ridge is top-tier, and in many cases, BETTER than some of the [far] more expensive CE imported boots I own, and I've personally shared with him that I'd willingly pay $300+ for his boots. They're simply unassailable, and I wish IR, Steve, Stephanie, and Crew continued success. Keep spreading the word, Robert - 'Muricans need to know this sh!t to stay safe.
@@BeTheBossOfYourMotorcycle - Also, thank you for the code, Robert. I went back and watched the parts again where Steve showed the Black Comanche and just ordered them, as well. Love the two-tone black and the fact that he's upgraded the sole is huge! 🤘
Ah thanks man. That means the world. I could've raised my prices due to inflation, but I decided to find more efficiencies within the company. Like my pay :)
Thanks Robert and Steve, I'm wearing my brand new Comanches my wife gave me today for Father's Day! I love them and I'm waiting for the notification to purchase another pair boots with the gloves upon arrival from back order! "V.I. PRELOADER Andrew"
Robert thanks for the interview with Steve. I was actually in the market for a new pair of riding shoes. I have a pair of tan riding boots from another company with the initials A.S. I loved but when the laces (flat tan and water resistant laces) broke the customer service was not sufficient and I have not worn them since. Long story to say I have ordered the Armstrong and will support your brand! Keep up the progress and growth.
Bought the new black commanche (waterproof) thru the father's day sale. Arriving tomorrow. Hope they are everything you say they are. If so, I'll get the ventilated also. I'm excited, thanks for sharing
Rob, you noticed my Indie Ridge boots at Bootlegger HD last weekend. I was in the market and your first interview with Steve is what sold me on the company. Thanks for doing these interviews and thanks to Indie Ridge for putting out a great product!
I have 2 pairs of their boots and really like them however if I had to suggest an improvement which is subjective of course is to make the vented version with a thinner inside material, it would make it a bit more vented and lighter...... great boots so far.
You can tell that Steve is extremely intelligent. For him to jot down notes on his glove, or to get worldwide certification and how he is so deliberate in his verbiage. His research and development down to the tread. Excellent stuff!!!!
That is so awesome!!! You have done very well with the boots. My "Knight" model is still holding up very well. Even with my toe shifter. After a ride, all I do is brush the toe of my left boot with my hand and you would never know I use it to shift gears. No marks!!!! I love them! @Steve_IndieRidge
Great video/interview isn’t u may- Steve has a great product!! I have a few pairs of boots & a set of gloves…. More to come! Thanks for helping Steve get out his product. I try to spread the word how good his products are and these interviews show just what type of product he has & how much of a perfectionist he is. Great stuff all around!

Great interview Robert and Steve! Just placed my order for some Armstrong’s with preloader10. This will be my 3rd pair of IR boots. Most comfortable boots I’ve ever worn bar none!
The only thing wrong with Indie Ridge is that they keep coming out with great stuff. I loved my WP Comanches so I bought a pair of Crossfields for hot weather, and not 2 weeks later Steve rolls out not just the Armstrong (aka, ventilated Comanche), but also the Black Comanche. And the boots last. Gotta give me time to figure out how to wear out my old pairs before dropping the sweet new leather, man!
Robert, You need to do a crossover episode with shade tree surgeon, Forgotten Angels and all the girls. I want to see Cammy Bay, Chaleesy, and the whole ShadeTree Army doing slow speed maneuvers! Please make this happen!!! I think it would be amazing. Cross-promotion for both of your channels and for forgotten. Angel's charity. I love you guys. You're my favorite youtubers.
Honestly have never wore a riding boot I liked and that was comfortable in all day long. Which is why I continue to wear my DVS’ and Globes. never wore Indy ridge before though.

Hi Rob, this is off topic but I cant get an answer from anyone about when I practice at slow speeds.( from your videos) when I'm in the friction zone turning left or right, it sounds like my clutch is grinding or something similar.
