A quick guide showing the best way to gather all the Manufactured Engineering Materials .
    Game Link. www.elitedangerous.com/
    inara.cz/
    Basic collector build s.orbis.zone/nzgj
    Python passenger build s.orbis.zone/nzg8
I like to run my python engineered for low temps , but you could always just use a single heat sink if you feel the need , but i have yet to be bothered by security ships.

Thanks so much for these guides, Stewie. They're excellent. O7

Great guide. Quick tip: Inara has Quick Searches that includes Material Traders (4:02 in the bottom of the page)

Great guide. the 5a Sco drive on the Python MK2 will help a lot with this!

Thank you. Yes the MK 2 will be a game changer with this kind of activity, I cannot wait for the 7th. o7

Great guide, thank you. The RNG was harsh to me for a couple of hours, giving me tones of one material after I was already full. I could have filled up twice. 🤣
But much better than trying to figure it out myself. Thanks again.

Great video. I saw Buur's recommendation. I've farmed HGEs before but didn't know you could "pop" signal sources to get new ones to spawn. A very handy tip.

That's really helpful. Even though I've been playing for the best part of a decade I always need to remind myself where to go for what, and it's brilliant to have it all in one place like this video. Thank you o7

Great guide. I was farming these mats a few days back and felt like the timers correlated to certain types of mats spawning like i remember only finding pharmaceutical isolators below 16 minutes or seeing proto alloys below 25 minutes maybe i'm looking too hard at this but whatever the case i found this grind to be alright compared to some other grinds in the game

It can be tricksy finding high grade emissions. Find a system that has an asteroid ring around at least one planet. Locate a Resource Extraction Site. Lo-Res, Res, Hi-Res, Haz-Res. Bounty hunting for fun and profit. Each dead pirate ship will drop a number of manufactured mats you can collect. You can make multiple millions per hour with relative ease and collect enough mats you can easily afford to trade up or down as needed to fill in any gaps in your collection.

That it will , I am looking forward to the Python Mk2 with its improved control and fuel consumption rate .

ax refugee mission stacking is also really good and alot of fun but not always available, 5 ax multis on a passenger python and you can mop a bunch of scouts on arival for some extra credits, you can even take on an interdiction beyblade or 2, just bring a limpet controller to retrieve the passengers and relog at the rescue ship to make the fines payable.
usually shorter trips than robigo passengers

Not sure if I am doing something wrong but I have gone to multiple systems in a state of war/civil war in the hope of getting military supercapacitors, scanned the nav beacon but no emissions showing up at all.
In your video after nav beacon scan you show your navigation panel with at the top and the various emissions under it, my screen had followed by a list of stations, planets etc but no emissions at all. I notice you have some filters on but I have not found the filters helping - if i select signal sources for example my list is blank, any ideas please?

    • @StewiePlaysPC
      @StewiePlaysPC  14 днів тому

Hi there, that is odd that no signal sources are being detected. I mainly have the filters set to ignore everything other than the signals mainly to save time scrolling the list.
I would try removing all filters to rule out it being bugged, and then try seeing if any unidentified signals are showing up in the full spectrum scanner.
If there is still no signals to detect hop to a near by system to check if any are populating at all. If its the same in all systems and not even the full spectrum scanner is seeing anything I would think about opening a support ticket as something should of shown up by this point.
I hope this helps in some way let me know what the outcome is please as this is quite odd. o7

@@StewiePlaysPC Sorry for the late reply, I don't get to play so often! Not sure what was happening but sources are visible now, no settings changed, just was not getting them before. Too lazy to top up on all types but my inventory of manufactured mats is now quite healthy - thank you :)
I notice your guide misses 2 of the 10 manufactured material types - exquisite focus crystals and biotech conductors - any ideas on the best way to gather these please? cross trading works well enough for me with the ease of farming but curious if there is a better way :)
Thanks again for the guides, keep it up!

It's the raw materials that ticks me, they take time to get and to farm the really high end ones you gotta go extremely far from the bubble. I just want to max my pve corvette and fight.

    • @StewiePlaysPC
      @StewiePlaysPC  Місяць тому

True it is a shame that the systems are out of the bubble.

The timer will be the key factor for an instances total farm count, some materials only spawn in low timers.

Hi there. F Dev have said they are looking in to engineering with regards to cost and mission payout rewards, but they have not said when this will happen and what grades , type of material group and the amounts they have in mind.
New ships are on the way , one dropping early access tomorrow, and the roll out of part built ships in the ARX store as templates for new players to expand on.
With the ships due to arrive I found my self needing to collect materials , spending ages wandering shard / braintree planets looking for raw mats. I found my self having to spend ages on each one trying to locate places that had the top grade mats in high amounts as shards were no longer a POI that you could target *the last time I need to collect mats was Horizons* .
With all that in mind and wanting to be helpful , I made guides to help new and old players with the most up to date information possible to provide them confidence in the exact GPS locations on planets, the systems and faction states needed and the most time effective way to date.
F Dev will alter things at one point and the new alternatives will need to be tested vs the confirmed most up to date methods we have. its my hope to save time in that testing by doing all the leg work now.
Sorry its a wall of text , but there was no short way to explain my reasoning. o7

Personally I appreciate the 2024 tag, it stops me wading through a bunch of 2016 outdated stuff. I know some UA-camrs just rehash old ideas with a "New for 2024!!" click bate type title but in some cases it really helps. As a returning player knowing that what I am learning is still relevant is a big plus :)
