Thank you thank you thank you for explaining this in such an easy to understand way. I have literally just cut 4 different colours at the same time. Ive had my cricut explore air 2 for about three years now and I have been so intimitaded by it
Am new to Circuit and I absolutely loved you video. Exactly what I asked and not a lot of unnecessary talking. Hope to see more videos!
Thanks.
Oh my I’ve stumbled on your channel, wow I’m so glad I did. Your instructions are wonderful and I love love how you show and explain everything. ❤️
Thank you for sharing this. I have been doing this for a while myself. It sure saves time not having to load & unload, removing cut out and added new paper color in each time.
As a Newbie to Cricut Explore [have all the others but fell out of love with the Company and the machines .. they are now apart from my Mini door stops..] I decided after learning that Explore allows you to bring in your own art work and SVG files that l have bought [approx 12 thousand images these being sets, singles and ones that l have designed myself] this new machine will now let me cut those files. So lm going back to basics and re learning how to get the best out of my machine. Your video was the 1st one l watched when it came to helping me cut out a design with different papers laid down onto my mat. THANK YOU l have now learnt something and lm very pleased.. Now for the next step cutting them out. So thanks again for helping me get more from my machine.
Love, love, love.......I hate to throw out extra pieces. Thank you.
briteeyes5960 so glad you found this useful
Thank you so much!! I just purchased the Explore Air, and I just did my first cut using a cartridge image!!!
As Always GREAT TIPS!! Thanks for Sharing Debbie!
Debbie, I just have to thank you a million thanks for this tutorial. You have made me the happiest crafter ever. By following your instructions I was able to make the cutest Halloween card for my grandson with all the colors of papers that I needed. I am a very happy camper..(oops..crafter}. God bless you for sharing your talent and knowledge. Judy Coppa
Thank you for the tips! Much more efficient than cutting individually. I like the idea of cutting small scraps into 3x3 squares. :)
Had my cricut explore air 3 days now. This video is fantastic. Thank you for sharing.
I just receiver my Cricut Explorer air and I was having a hard time with it. I started with your lessons and finished 2 of them and already feel much better. Thank you , I will be continuing on my journey with your videos. Thank you
So helpful! Love the 3x3 scrap tip, too! Tx!!
I just got my machine from my awesome husband for our anniversary and have been wondering how to do this! I knew there had to be an easy way...thank you so much!! :-)
I'm learning so so much from you. I have 3 Cricut Machines...including The Explore Air2 but had never used my Design Space. I'm so looking forward to it now.
This is great. As someone who literally just got a couple of these (explore air 1) machines less than two weeks ago, I never thought to cut my big cardstock into smaller pieces. (Oh and I bought some cardstock scraps that are 3x3 and 5x5 in a 1lb stack, so this is fantastic.) I don't know if you still look at this channel any more, but if you do, I want to say that your tutorials from almost 4 years ago are still helping people out today. Keep up the good work.
WOW! I just got the Cricut for my birthday and was so confused until now! Thank you for your awesome video!
Wow! I coulda had a V-8! Just showing my age, but that was such a common sense video and it made sense! I thought about doing it but..... Thanks for saving the day!
So excited to try it
Very informative Debbie Thanks.
Love this! Thank you for the instruction - so easy to follow your directions!
Wow! Love this! Great tip. Thank you!
Makes perfect sense! Thanks!
Thank you very much, easy to understand and now I will do this as well. Real time saver!
Great Video! Easy to follow and understand. I got a Cricut Explore Air for Xmas also and I do not think I would have been able to correctly learn the ins and outs without these types of you tube videos and Facebook Cricut Groups. 😊. Thank you
that was awesome, thanks so much. I'm new & have been searching videos to learn what I can, & found snapmat to use my scrap pieces but that was only for an ipad. I hate to waste paper so thanks for this! I also liked the tip about cutting into 3x3 pieces to have them handy. I appreciated how you didn't assume we all know what we're doing. LOL
This looks like a much easier way to do rather than changing out mats steady. Thank you for this video!!!!
This video was a great help to me. What a time saver and you explained everything so nicely! Thank you!
Great tips! Keeping 3X3 scrap paper pieces is a great idea.
I’m a newbie and this is what I’ve been wanting to learn! Thank you! 🥰
Thanks so much for this very helpful video. It helps use up my scraps! Love my Cricut explore air 2
Thank you for that video. Hardest part of putting it together is remembering how to put it back together, what color goes where. lol Thanks again for showing how to save on paper and time especially!!
I'm waiting for my new Explore to arrive and your topic is exactly one I was wondering about. Thank you.
Great and extremely simple to understand video. Thanks!

Soooooo smart! Thanks!
Great instructions. Thank you for having the sound loud enough.
I know this is an older video but it was so helpful to me. Thank you for explaining the 3 x 3 space.
wow great tutorial! thank you very much :-)
Very helpful, thanks!
Thanks just finished my Halloween cards knowing this would have saved some time. I will be using this for Thanksgiving cards I will also be returning to your site for more tips. Thank you
I've seen this done, but wasn't sure how to do it. Thanks for the video!!
Thank you - so helpful!
Great tips and easy instructions as always thanks so much Debbie.
you are very welcome Judy !
Great video.
Thank you so much for this tip. I just wish cricut explore would allow us to put certain images closer in order to save more space/paper. For example the leaves for this particular flower you've put together. Had your flower been a bigger size the amount appart of each leaf would be farther, therefore wasting paper on that one cut. I still need to get more familiar with using the design space. The transition from craft room to design space is something to get used to. Thank you again😊
Genius! Thank you!
Thanks-this is a great video.
I can't tell you how frustrated I was with Cricut's "space saving" feature. Thanks to you, I can now unbox the machine again and get to work. It was driving me insane that my elements would get moved when I went on to the next screen. You're a life saver!
Same here...how did you solve your problem
loved it!!!! I'm new so thanks..
Thank you! This really helped!!!
Thank you for showing us how to do that! I tried the other night and got no where! Great video!
Even though I have used this technique before I learned something new from yours.
Great tip thank you!
I do this with one alteration. I put my papers on the mat BEFORE I attach the images in DS. I want to make sure that I put the correct colors in the correct spot.
Very good idea, will have to try. Thanks
Roxanme Gravesande You are welcome Roxanme !
Thank you so much, I just got my Cricut for Mother’s Day and on my first design and it came out amazing 😁
This is so much easier than using snapmat!
your video is great, thank you so much
Great demonstration!
thank you Susan
Thank you. Very informative. I have had earlier Cricut machines, but am new to the Cricut Explore Air 2.
You are welcome Carol
Brilliant! I was wondering how to do this. Thank you so much.
wonderful Judy...glad it was helpful
Just got a cricut for Christmas and was getting frustrated as all hell. Your video and others alike do a far better job in explaining things than the company videos do. Thanks for that, now I don't have to deal with the hassle of re-packing it and taking it back.
you are welcome June
Debbie ONeal iiii
