This vlog is exceptional, stunning drone shots with perfect choice of music. A pleasure to see the beautiful English countryside in midwinter from someone who now lives abroad and misses it. Paul your videography a editing skills are first class not to mention your gift as an artist. I love how you tell us the little things happening in your lives afloat. I'm sitting here with a huge lump in my throat, I have to agree with @Wanda Jarabo, this is such a fabulous vlog!! I've been watching your videos for quite a while now but have never commented before (shameful I know) but just had to after watching this week's installment of your life aboard Morning Star.. Utterly fabulous!!! The drone footage was breathtaking, such gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, tinged with frosty mornings and glistening hedgerows. Dexter is such a lucky boy to have you both, he really is living his best life with you both. Paul, your drawings are breathtaking, please please think about including more of your timelapse filmings of them. I loved them. The drawing of Jasper was incredible and brought a tear or 2 to my eyes. Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing your journey along the waterways, I look forward to watching them so much. So much to love in this vlog --your realistic art work Paul, Dexter being so good for his haircut, and exceptional scenery. Infact I think its the best scenery Ive seen, the colours etc just wow. Such a cold spell ( bit like we are going through now). Nice to see the route, we cruised the opposite direction last year. Pure art. I used to watch these vlogs as an antidote to the 'stress' of life. Now they are simply another view of life. Thanks for unlocking my life. It was nice to see Dexter Dog in puppy mode as well as old man resting mode. Nothing else to say other than thanks, so thanks.
P.S. when Paul mentions that he is cold I always wonder if he wears a thermal hat, off camera. My hat saw plenty of head time yesterday but I do look ridiculous with it on. TTFN.

We couldn’t believe how windy it was last night! Kept us awake. Then we woke up to snow this morning. Really cold tonight too. Just when you think you have finished with the fire 😂. Today has been beautiful and a walk on the beach would have blown the cobwebs away!

Happy Friday! 🥰 I'd say that the cold makes Dexter very bouncy. He seems so happy. 🤗 It's a while after this video was filmed but it's still cold, isn't it? Glad you guys are on a canal and keeping warm (I hope!) and not on the M62. What a horrible situation.❤ I saw from Dan's postings that Llangollen got quite a lot of snow too. In spite of the cold in this vlog it certainly was a glorious day! It's easier to take the cold when the sun is shining. It's only 37 here now but it's cloudy. I'm getting really anxious for spring. At least my daffodils are pretty and cheery. 😊 I love the time lapse. It is so interesting to see how it's done. Jasper was a lovely little dog and the drawing will mean so much. You both know I love your Vlogs and there are so many that I have called my favorites. This one definitely qualifies as a favorite. It was beautiful Michael and to be honest, worst places to be frozen in. The only down side was running out of water and having to carry those canisters down the tow path. Love the time laspe. Hi Paul, Anthony and Dexter-Dog. What a stunning looking Vlog. A Sharp and well crafted video-ography (is that a real word?). I like your coffee machine. I have seen them many years, especially abroad, but (stupid me) I never knew how they worked. I do now (thank you). I might even buy one. When Paul showed us the canal was icing up, there was (for a canal) a strong flow of water (River Dee effect?). That narrow gap in the canal must be a boaters nightmare, it looks like there must have been a bridge there at some time? Great to see Anthony giving Dexter a hair cut with his arm around his tummy, together with such professional hair cutting skills. Paul your "time Laps" drawing piece was wonderful, such a talent you have. Anthony, your cheese thingy (that you were cooking) looked really yummy. Dexter looked really happy running around. Bless him. How great that there are these fuel boats plowing their wears, A Boaters delight some may say. Love the Liquorice sweets left for Anthony. I love them also. Had some this past week too. Thank you for an amazing Vlog, great scenery and great editing. Take care all three of you.

Great video- as always. Would like to see a future video on why you decided to build another narrow boat versus a wide boat. Explaining the differences between the two and cost to buy and run. Perhaps, the company building your narrow boat builds wides as well.
Hey Rich. Glad you enjoyed. Don’t know a lot about widebeams to be honest and our current and future builders only do narrowboats. The main reason for us is the lack of navigable canals that a widebeam can do. Hope you are having a relaxing weekend ❤
