Sappi Saiccor Mill expansion

Icily TV was appointed as the primary technical and staging supplier to the launch of the Sappi SAICCOR Vulindlela expansion event.
Icily TV managed the stage and rental as well the livestream broadcast with full photography and event video coverage of the ceremony.
Guests came from all sectors namely the private, public, business, government and media sectors.
About Sappi Saiccor :
Sappi's Saiccor Mill is one of the four mills operated by Sappi South Africa. The mill is located in Umkomaas, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. It is a specialty pulp mill that specializes in the production of dissolving wood pulp, which is used in the production of rayon, cellophane, and other products. The mill has a capacity of producing over 300,000 metric tons of dissolving wood pulp per year.
Saiccor Mill is also known for its sustainable operation, it uses a closed-loop process that captures and reuses almost all of the water used in the production process, and it has also reduced its greenhouse gas emissions. The mill also has a sustainable plantation program in partnership with local communities and farmers to ensure sustainable sourcing of wood.
In addition, Sappi Saiccor mill also produces lignosulphonates, a by-product of dissolving wood pulp production, which is used as a dispersant and a binder in various industries such as animal feed, agriculture, and construction.
