Crazy 7 year project car transformation that includes R32 engine swap, DSG gearbox swap and a whole new exterior and interior look. Next step is to turbocharge the r32 engine and make the car 4x4. The tdi engine was progressively upgraded to 300hp, but sadly didn't survive and the car got a R32 heart transplant.

How hard was the swap? I'm thinking of getting my 1.9 tdi BKC DSG swapped to the 270hp CDL + dsg. Heard the electrical stuff is pretty tough and alot of costs for engine + auxiliaries.
I have a 3 door 1.9TDI for now it's only a Stage 1 but soon I hope to buy an R32 or a Golf 4 2.8 4motion and do some stuff!

Patroane,o bagi si tu pe Bulgaria si aia a fost.Daca vrei neaparat s-o ti pe Romania,faci swapp-ul si n-o mai omologhezi,la itp dai si tu 2-300 de euro iar apoi sa vezi ce te trece.Daca te prinde Rar-ul,inventezi si tu o poveste doar cat sa nu te lase fara talon.Dale-n mama lor de legi.Nu vezi cu ce fumigena umbla asta? Soba pe roti.

To any one who may know I wanna swipe r32 front bumber, xenon headlights and backlights to my golf 5 1.9 tdi would it all fit perfectly or would there be some new adjustment needed to be done on the body??
I know that for the front bumper my friend needed to do some cutting on a 1.9tdi, the other parts fit with no problem.

Has all wiring harness of the car to be changed for R32 dsg swap from diesel
I do not know how the Bulgarian KAT works,but I salute them with respect if they let someone swap from a 140-170 HP diesel powered engine in the papers of the car to a 3.2 VR6 250hp petrol engine and give new paper work for it,that I wold love to do on my car,but my stupid law în my country dose not allow me to do it ,Bulgaria is smart and get cars registred for use în România,Moldova even Ucraina, they get payed for regitration, insurance, tax,toll, and the cars are used în other country, and for that I salute them again.
Some things are good, others not so much...

I don’t know exactly, because it is not my car, but I know it is a lot..😃
only engine costs 3k euros, at least here in Croatia, wrap is 1000-1500 euros,, trans with conversion at least 1k euros, buut you can get it when you buy the motor if you find a good deal, i dont know prices for the rest of mods, and lets say wheels that were in boxes were at least 1k euros. so yeah, its very expensive but if you are not planning to sell it anytime soon, build it for your sake

What about wiring for dsg? Did you wire yourself or someone else did you keep original wiring inside the car or only change few wires from front(engine)

hi, i plan on swapping same motor in my golf 4, what parts next to engine gearbox and installation i need, do i need new axels and new front suspension designed for that engine? i will put 6 speed manual transmission
