I don’t care about new makeup, but I’d watch Soph water grass.
I’m only two mins into this and it’s so easy to remember why you’re the best: starting off with a “Givenchy sent me this…the top doesn’t feel quality” lol we know we can trust you! And then immediately to plucking gray hairs out and freaking out like I just did five mins ago 😂😂

@@Tigrinnaful you should try Jen Phelps or Risa does makeup! Jen never ever ever takes a sponsor. They use no filters...like truly no filters...they show you all the texture and they give it to you straight. Jen is my absolute favorite. Everyone should check her out.

I tried saie mascara bc I saw so many people with amazing results and I hate it so much 😭 it’s almost like it’s oily it just doesn’t stick to my lashes or do anything at all really :/ curious how it would work for soph since she already has super long lashes
You never fail to make me smile! For my wedding I left most of my face unset for the ceremony and photos but took powder and setting spray to touch up for the rest of the day/night . You must be getting SO excited!!
If you don't want to set your whole face on your wedding, maybe try an oil control primer? I personally like Mattifine from MAC but Danessa Myricks Yummy skin water powder serum is also good :)
You don't get rid of the 'line' on your face Soph because that is how you are supposed to look. Don't change it, you don't need to. You are perfect as you are.
No doubt, whatever way you do your makeup on your wedding day, you're gonna look beautiful!
Great video as always! For your wedding: definitely set your whole face. If you want to look a bit more “glowy”, use a finishing powder with a bit of shimmer in it after you set the face. Something like hourglass finishing powder. Lasting power is everything on that day! For eyebrows, I think a bit more natural shape. The photos will last for ever and the way you do them now is more of a trend. Just a little more of an arch and a bit less bold will make the perfect wedding brows! *chefs kiss*. 💪💕🥂

For your wedding bc your oily definitely set your face and then bring back the glow with setting spray and either highlighter or blush lighter especially bc it’s summer❤

The lip combo suits you perfectly and those lashes are gorgeous - I am very into three quarter, half, and individual lashes these days...easier to apply than full lashes and they look a bit more natural, especially the individuals. The first Colourpop liquid blush was so pretty - I could see you wearing it on your wedding day, with the Fenty Blushlighter layered over the top! For your eyebrows, I would do a few makeup trials with different eyebrow shapes and have someone take photos of you so you can decide what you feel the best in. :) Agreed on blinding highlighters not being of the moment, but you should check out the Fenty Demi'Glow Light-Diffusing Highlighter for a lit from within glow. On my wedding day, my makeup artist used a mattifying primer and set my whole face because I have oily skin. She brought the glow back with glowy powder products (blush, bronzer, and highlighter) and a LOT of setting spray (5 - 6 layers applied over a period of an hour or so). I still powdered my t-zone maybe twice throughout the day since there were so many photos! You could even try a slightly glowy powder, like the Tatcha Silk Powder.
My oldest is being bullied at school (he's 10.) I am struggling. I appreciate every video someone makes that gives me a few minutes of distraction 😘

- I think you should wear your eyebrows „naturally going down“ as it‘s more of a timeless style that the Spok Brows.
- I think powdering your whole face and using and a slightly luminous powder and setting spray could work!🧐 Not powdering would be a oily mess tho:/
- regarding the face line, I really don‘t know much about the topic but I guess the only way to get rid of it would be like Botox or hyaloron injections🫠

I’m 43 and I have a lot of gray. It started in my late 20s, early 30s. It does mix well with my natural hair color, but I remember finding my first gray hair 😅

I also find a lot of luxury products have that floral old lady smell, I remember this agent provocateur perfume was the epitome of that, I couldn't handle it so I have it to my mum. I think it is because brands like givenchy, chanel, armani etc.. tend to market towards older women rather than all the young people, compared to brands like rare beauty. Chantecaille is another brand I associate with people my mums age

Robert Welsh says setting spray before foundation. If I don’t powder, I will look greasy and not dewy.
I have noticed and I think Luxeria even said it, after I had made note, that powder foundation looks better as time goes on

I like the Fenty blushes. I use the Juicy Peach and am obsessed with it. And yes, Luminoso vibes for sure. Which is my favorite blush. So I had to try the Fenty ones! Did Givenchy dupe L'oreal?! And fail! Sorry, you almost can not beat a L'oreal mascara. They are top-notch. Lash Paradise is still my favorite to this day.

I'm 29, but like you I get told that I look much younger than that and yet I am too getting the odd white hair growing through! 😯 I blame it on everyday stress, but my mum didn't have to dye her whole roots until she was in her 40s, so I'm hoping I won't have to do it till then either!
@Sophdoeslife RE wedding makeup: maybe it's an option to go for a glowier look - as those pictures are something you want to look at for decades!! - and make sure you have blotting paper or a small powder compact with you in a clutch, or with one of your bridesmaids. Then you can set it, or minimise any oil, AFTER the photographer has done the posed session.

Please do a full face/ review of no.7, 17, collection and rimmel. I have been really interested in collection’s new rebranding and releases. Sort of UK’s ELF, but I’m worried that their formula are still bad. ELF is a little pricey sometimes for drugstore, their formula are great but they are always sold out. Rimmel have some great surprises products, their foundations and the filter thingy are great, but everything else is a bit naff and outdated. 17 have have returned/ rebranded but again have the formula evolved?

Grey hairs always grow immediately from the part. Mine started around 27 and now at 35 I have maybe two dozen.
I have so many at the sides of my head weirdly but the parting ones are new to me! Just life isn’t it! 🤣

Hi Soph. I wondered how you know what your allergic to? I buy new makeup and moisturises a lot and they breaks me out/burns/causes redness etc. i am a very sensitive skin person. I would happily pay to know what to avoid. Love your reviews x

I bought the Catrice dupe for the Flawless Filter and I have to say I'm not convinced. It's way too dry, making my already Sahara dry face not exactly looking glowy. I do like the fact it minimises some of my hyperpigmentation spots and the redness I have on my face.
Maybe I should check out the Rimmel. I prefer very light natural bases, but can rarely find something that actually *looks* natural & good on my dry, mature skin.
I'm still looking for a holy grail concealer for my very dry, mature skin. Anyone with Sahara skin suffering from eczema & milia and suuuper sensitive have a tip?
(Currently I use the Age Eraser by Maybelline, and a better covering Hydrating one by Revolution Pro. But with both, after +/- an hour, I see stripes under my eyes>> concealer in my wrinkles 😢).
