i just took down the xmas tree this week lol. my little boy was diagnosed with a brain tumour 2 weeks before christmas so im abit behind and havent been feeling it i did however today for the first time in forever spend the whole day planting out a garden bed, was such a beautiful day.
Heavenly Father, we come to you and ask for healing for this little boy. We pray for guidance for medical professionals and peace and comfort this family during this difficult time. May they feel your presence with them. In Jesus name. Amen.

Ireland is very green, and rains a lot. The scenary around the Coast if spectacular on a sunny day. You will find Irish people very welcoming, especially in smaller towns and villages.

Love the egg bowl decor. I do decorate for Spring as well. I have a variety of alabaster eggs of various colors in a thrifted glass bowl. My best find was a Waterford purple glass egg found at Goodwill for 50 cents.
Love the Spring refresh! I've put out fresh flowers in the kitchen, bought a pretty yellow throw blanket for my bed, and my grass bunnies and colorful decorative eggs have made yet another appearance. Up until a few years ago, I mostly only decorated for Christmas, but the older I get and especially now with a baby, I find myself decorating for everything from Valentine's Day to 4th of July and it's fun. Hi Hillary, I wanted to thank you for the inspiration from your creating a supplemental pantry in your basement. I cleaned out a space in our garage. I was then able to reorganize the cabinets in the kitchen. What a difference. So much easier to determine what we have on hand and where to restock. You gave me the push that I needed. Your living room is so inviting. We had some book shelves built by a friend so they flank both sides of our fireplace. Our own old world home spin looks great and the room looks bigger and cleaner.

I am 11 weeks with baby #4 and while we are THRILLED and so thankful for this blessing, I am also battling with anxiety that this is the point at which I'll be overwhelmed 😂 but you seem so calm! Congratulations! What a wonderful blessing indeed 💛 I don’t really do videos about kids or parenting but I will say that you will have your hands full but so will your heart! Having a routine has always helped me with the addition of each child, not a strict schedule but a nice rhythm to the day with quiet time in the afternoon, a MUST! My kids are pretty spaced out so the transition went pretty smoothly and baby 4 just steps in line with the rest of our rhythms and routines! You got this, just take it one day at a time and reevaluate what’s not working when the time comes 😊

Haven't welcomed spring yet here. Still have high snow banks, but the temperature is supposed to climb a little this week. We probably have a good two months before we see signs of spring. I bought a bundle of live tulips for the kitchen table yesterday, but will check out some like yours.

Hi Hilary, Please don’t take this as negative I just have a safety concern about your coach. We have baseboard heating to and a fire inspector told me that our couch needs to be away from the heater. Ours sits 15-18 inchs away. I’ve actually had Rubbermade melt because they accidentally got pushed up next to the baseboard heater. I normally don’t comment on peoples videos unless I have something nice to say (we have enough negativity) but because it’s safety I had to. I love your videos and get so much inspiration and motivation from them. 😁God Bless!

Honestly it just a time issue, my husband doesn’t like to have it smoldering if we go to bed or leave the house so it’s hard to find a time where we can get it going, enjoy it, and then let it go out completely. I’d love to use it more in the winter, and we are considering converting it to a wood burning stove

I make Irish soda bread and shepherd's pie every year for St.Patrick's Day, and we usually read some books on the subject in our homeschool.

We do have wood blocks as a buffer and there are feet on the couch to allow air to flow. I appreciate the kind concern 💛

How do you "spring" clean your fireplace? Do you use any type of water and solution or only vacuum? What have you found to be the best cleaning method for this area? Does your husband give the chimney a good sweep or do you hire a sweeper? Looking for any suggestions.
We hired a sweeper in the past but my husband did a better job cleaning than he did 😅 Mostly just vacuuming

Honestly it just a time issue, my husband doesn’t like to have it smoldering if we go to bed or leave the house so it’s hard to find a time where we can get it going, enjoy it, and then let it go out completely. I’d love to use it more in the winter, and we are considering converting it to a wood burning stove
