  • In this video, Jason delves into the critical difference between roadblocks and constraints and how to navigate them effectively in construction projects. Roadblocks are temporary obstacles that need to be moved, while constraints are permanent factors that require strategic maneuvering. Jason discusses the pitfalls of sticking to a 5-day takt time, using weekends as drum beats, and failing to level trade packages or include buffers in schedules. It's crucial to involve builders, align procurement, and clearly identify and address constraints early on to ensure project success. By understanding these distinctions and proactively managing them, you can steer your projects towards success. Join us as we explore these essential strategies for effective project management.

What can we do with the buffers left at the end of any schedule if you dont use them?? do you re-schedule? do we pull the project?
