I know this might sound crazy but I think gojo isn’t dead and I think that since he hit a black flash before he got cut in half and is now “in the zone” that he could possibly heal himself while shoko heals him to speed up the process which would be cool

I'm a little disappointed that Kenjaku went out like that, kind of explains why Gege went out of his way to give him to fights with 2 special grades as well as flush out his plan completely whereas we're still kind of in the dark about Sukuna. Shout out to Yuta tho, his stocks have really gone up now.
Idk I think something is up in the air with that still (we cut off screen too), maybe that's copium, but not yet buying him officially done. I feel like we should have gotten more with him as one of the main villains, especially "Yuji's mom". The ancient sorcerer mastermind.

He wanted to create something that exceeded his own potential and wasn't bound to him, and guess what, that's exactly what Takaba is. He absolutely got what he wanted and his narrative arc has come to a satisfying conclusion. The only thread left hanging is what exactly is his relationship with Yuji, and he's not needed in order for us to know, we can get that through Yuji and/or Sukuna themselves
Giving reverse curse technique to arguably the most durable character in the series who also knows how to avoid soul damage is actually kinda busted, the only thing that can really get rid of Yuki now is out lasting him in terms of cursed energy.
We gon need that against Sukuna and his space slashes

Would Yuji still be resistant to soul damage? I thought the only reason Yuji was resistant to soul damage was because he (or his soul+body) was being cohabited by Sukuna and when Mahito attempted to modify Yuji's soul, Sukuna didn't let him (as Yuji was his vessel).
Unless Yuji inherited that soul damage resistance property from housing Sukuna (which I am not sure is mentioned anywhere), I do not think currently he should be resistant to soul damage.

I also believed that Higuruma is still alive and there's a chance that the executioner sword is still intact with Yuji. It might play a big role later in the future to defeat Sukuna.

Curse energy comes from the gut, which is probably why Sukuna sliced Gojo around the chest, to cut off the CE supply. if Gojo is to be revived, then he needs a different sources of CE untill he heals his stomach.

The thing is, he definitely didn't just learned RCT during the timeskip. Unless the Body Switching and Kamo teaching Yuji are just red herrings like many plot points in the series.

If Utahime uses solo forbidden zone next to Shoko to increase the output of RCT it might give her the boost she needs, while it wouldn’t bring Gojo back it def could get Higuruma back in action

Important points to remember:
- The fact that Sukuna says or thinks Higuruma and Gojo are dead, doesn't mean they are. We've known now that sorcerers access a limbo-like state when they are almost dead, which is why the hokanes might not be appearing to give their points to other players. Also, why move them immediately to Shoko, would't have a point to risk Ui Ui and Kirara if it's just to give them proper burial, specially someone so important to their survival as Ui Ui. Sukuna just assumes they are dead but none of their heads or abdomens were cut *IMPORTANT* (And yeah Gojo was sliced in two but the cut is lower than were CE is generated). *IMPORTANT EDIT*: Just remembered that Megumi actually "DIED" in Shibuya after summoning Mahoraga, but he was in the limbo-like state for as long as Mahoraga was still active and that's why Sukuna saved the other sorcerer that was dragged into the ritual, so that Megumi didn't COMPLETELY die, and at that point SUKUNA LITERALLY BROUGHT MEGUMI BACK FROM THE DEAD, and then he got him to Shoko cause Megumi couldn't RCT plus was very injured still. Sukura is assuming Shoko isn't as powerful st RCT as him, but she actually might be, It's literally her speciality, also Yuta can do exactly the same, difference is Gojo can RCT himself if someone brings him back from death, would just take time!!!
- Hakari and Uraume are still fighting on top of them, I'm sure we're going to see the start of the fight between Yuta and Sukuna only to get interrupted by the other fight. Hakari is still literally invinsible everytime he hits a jackpot and was really hyped by everyone that knew him, so would be interesting to see were that leads to.
- Maki hasn't joined the fight and at this point she is at the very least at Toji's level if not more powerful (I think the later), also she has the extremely powerful Split Soul Katana, which might be used either to kill Sukuna / Megumi or Sukuna if re absorbed by Yuji.
- FOR SURE Sukuna will finally unleashed his hidden powers with Yuta, there's just no one else who would be worthy of it, specially since he can't open DE thanks to Gojo, and Yuta STILL has a DE which we haven't seen but in the CG was about to be open, so we know he has one and mastery of it. His curse technic is "Copy" which would mean many things for his DE....
- Jujutsu Sorcerers didn't just went to battle without plans too. We know for sure now that they had multiple backup plans, one of them was Takaba and Yuta going for Kenjaku if Gojo lost, which happened. The fact they are taking the injured to Shoko immediately and not all of them at once jumped to attack after Gojo and Kashimo lost, tells me something else is coming which will be a surprise to Sukuna and the readers (let us not forget all the paralels between Gojo and Budha,, if he somehow makes a comeback would't be unbelievable but actually another clever way in which Akutami got rid for a bit of Gojo to write about the others, kinda like what he did in Shibuya and the prison realm)

im sure sukuna can open his DE now since he reverted back to his old form all the damages caused by gojo was nullified and healed so he still can use DE nevertheless great theory

Something i've been wondering, is that Gojo, Kenjaku and Higuruma's deaths didn't result in Kogane awarding points to Yuta or Sukuna/Megumi, which implies that they might not be dead, or at least that the culling game hasn't acknowledged them as dead. I thought maybe Kenjaku paused notifications on Kogane or something, but it's appeared now to announce a new rule so maybe Kogane's absence at previous major deaths is significant and indicates that they're all still alive. Maybe copium, but I feel like Kenjaku has a lot of loose ends to tie off with weird moments of acting out of character (Geto resisting, and saying thank you to that girl from episode 1 for being friends with Yuji) that haven't been paid off yet
That feels like just a plot hole or that he turned notifications off, because even when Kenny killed that nameless girl and the exploding dude we didn’t see that

I just read 239 again where he kills that nameless girl and it straight up says notification of points is no longer happening so that probably confirms it. The overthinking part of my brain is telling me they're just hiding a big reveal in plain sight, but it's very likely to be meaningless

I think Kogane awarding points after major character deaths like this would kind of undercut them tbh, it would like blunt the emotional impact so it’s just better to leave them out. You want every chapter with someone dying to end with “X has been awarded X points”, imagine that after each major death 😂

There's so much happening and the end is closing in... I can't see how gege can bring people back in a good way without cheapening things or rushing it. However, i do hope this all leads to a follow up JJK series where Gege can expand things and allow for some of those hanging items to resolve (maybe post merger or timeskip?)
We still dont know if sukuna has recovered from that hit of infinite void to use any domain technique. Yuta will definitely use his domain which still hasnt been revealed yet, this fight can get hard
Im pretty sure Sukuna cant use domain anymore. He said it himself that part of the brain is damaged and can not be repaired by RCT.
I think this was Gojos contribution. And Higurumas was taking away the Kamutoke. It seems like each challenger is stripping away something of Sukuna little by little.

Can’t wait for yuta to get packed, Sukana getting that final finger even tho he doesn’t need it, putting on yuta ring now being able to summon his queen, starting the merger while being untouchable, Yuuji being the last one fighting becoming the vessel for the merger, defeats sukana after an epic fight then yuuji ending it all by becoming the last barrier and dispersing curse energy throughout the world. Then it’ll go back to the battlefield revealing megumi laying there cuz yuuji protect his soul the end.

@@pandaeyez Yeah, but you have the other healer (Shoko with Utahime power boost) as a possibility. If Gege wanted to fully squash possibility for Gojo comeback, his head should have been destroyed. Yuki with her split in 2 still was alive for a bit and was killed not by that injury, but her black hole power she was able to activate even after being split in 2. The last image we saw of Gojo is him smiling to Sukuna's words even after his afterlife segment. Idk for sure, I'm just saying the possibility exists.
I called it that SUKUNA is gonna be the main villain and it was done. He might kill the merger or get killed by it but going on the surface it seems he gonna take the powers of merger. He himself admitted in this Chapter that he wants a power above him.

the shit translations help no one, but to sum up my take, he isn't annoyed by Itadori revealing a flaw in his ideal, but annoyed that he can recognize Yuji's ideal as firm and true, that Yuji's desire to kill him is as strong as his Ideal of being the strongest who does what he wants and lives how he wants.
Interestingly this mindset might be what is propelling Yuji forward as a sorcerer now, he is trying to realize his ideal himself. If you remember Sukuna criticized Jogo for not doing this.@@nirbanjyotidas5828
This was Kenjaku’s backup plan, omfg this monk really dead. When Yuta marked him he declared that his will would be carried out. We assumed it was a curse but in actuality he made a contingency to have Kogane make a new rule that gives Sukuna the exclusive right to end the game (assuming Megumi has a say in this).
But I don't think Kenjaku is already dead, to early and also Gege can't kill that character easily, the Mastermind of Jujutsu Kaisen.

If Ui Ui is using his CT to teleport dead bodies then I doubt they just left Takaba out there too. Might be the reason it took Yuta a minute to hit the battlefield. Either way. Leaving a dead Takaba beside a dead Kenjaku who we don’t really know how his technique works is risky. I’d hope they picked him up

I mean, it's just that Gojo is the only dude here who wants to do something, the entire JJK series is full of characters with no real motivation for doing what they do other than stirring the pot and causing chaos or fighting people. When he died it just made everything even more apparent like why are all these people even fighting in the first place? I don't really get it tbh if they were serious Yuji and Co would have bummed rush Sukuna alongside Gojo instead of letting him get clapped before doing anything. gojo did think he was gonna win or atleest thats what he was assuring everyone, as the strongest sorcerer its gojos responsobility to make it indisputable to everyone that he cant lose, he cant show limits or weakness and has to make anyone and everyone feell "nah were saved now" once he appears.

Maybe Kamutoke being forever gone has something to do with that little flashback where Kusakaba and Higurama were discussing how curses get stronger after death

When you are talking about RCT you fail to mention how difficult it is to obtain. Not everyone has it, and it’s pretty rare.Being able to heal others is even rarer.
I think they would have to use shoko rct and takaba ability to save gojo. Just like how angel said she only survived becuase of shoko and takaba curse technique.
So it would be something like shoko heals and takaba beloeves the rct can heal 100 percent of the damage maybe

I said the same thing a while back. I hope Yagas back story with the 3 souls needed to create some kind of harmony for a soul corpse.
Curious if this gives us any potential for megumi to make this decision instead of Sukuna... But that whole "body or soul" debate is still a weird topic in this series.
Anyone think about that we might get to know Sukunas actual CT as Yuta joined the fight? A plausible theory I have is that Yuta finds out with his copy. But who knows? Anything can happen, its Gege after all :)

This is how I look at after going back and looking at a couple other instances where ppl "died" or came close to it. The first instance we have is goji himself toji literally stabbed him in the throat and ripped the inverted spear of heaven from his throat down to his waist and stabbed him multiple times after that and even he even stabbed him in the head with his regular katana straight through the forehead and when gojo first sees tojo he tells him he will lose because he didn't cut his head off and he also says he should have used the cursed tool when stabbing him in the head. The next time we get a near death experience by someone that has rct is when hakari fights kashimo and during the second jackpot of the fight kashimo states the following cursed energy comes from the stomach but reverse curse technique operates from the head no matter how powerful the reverse curse technique is a single blow to the head can kill and kashimo proceeds to hit hikari with his lighting attack that hits hakari directly in the forehead but hakari takes the blow and his rct is so fast that directly after taking the blow he started expelling kashimos cursed energy right out of his nose and hakari then states that was close you almost killed me kashimo............so with what gojo said and what kashimo is saying both gojo and higuruma could very well be alive by the rules that gege has came up with himself so its hard to know one way or the other honestly but by those two statements neither sorcerer should be dead and we are just left to see what gege does because honestly if gojo is permanently dead after just getting cut in half but when toji stabbed him upwards of 15 times probably a little less than that and once in the throat and once in the head with a regular sword and the stab to the throat toji made that a huge cut by just dragging the inverted spear from his throat to stomach........I'm calling major bullshit because if the earlier statements in the story like by all rights and reasons from what gege has told us gojo should be alive I mean he can literally destroy part of his brain and bring it back with rct not once not twice hell he did this 5 idea buy cant survive being cut in half im calling major bullshit

Those corpses retrieved only had two purpose, Healed by shoko(not optimal) OR shoko's test subjects for her magnum opus/long-time research. It gives Principal Yaga's Curse corpse vibes but cooked into almost full resurrection....
