I'm surprised nobody recommended dawn chorus, prometheus lens, and ember of ashes, which basically allows you to clear an entire area of ads or constantly ignite a boss. mix it with heat rises and you literally rain fire with infinite firesnap and explosions
This build has been one of my favorites. You can easily chain ignitions on bigger targets, and dawn chorus makes dawnblade deal some pretty solid damage as well
1) Phoenix protocol + hierarchy of needs (with "ember of combustion" fragment) 2) Eternal warrior + grand overture (I use this in GMs a lot) 3) Doom fang + monte carlo 4) Necrochasm + cromatic fire 5) Point-contact cannon brace + monte carlo/delicate tomb (actually I like second one more) 6) Triton vice + edge of concurrence 7) Rain of fire + 1k voices (fun, but not so effective because 1k voices currently sucks, it need some love for sure) 8) Synthos + monte carlo (primarely on strand banner titan)
2 of my favorites are: 1. Tempest crown/riskrunner/spark of shock/ball lightning. --- basically if you want the room cleared of ads and if this doesn't do it, not much else will. 2. Graviton lance/nezarecs sin/ echo of instability+expulsion. --- basically graviton lance with it's catalyst and the fragments will just continually explode the room, giving A LOT of ability energy to then give nades to give volatile rounds almost constantly, for MORE explosions

Icefall Mantle + Vexcaliber You wouldn't really think about this unless you've tested it but Vexcaliber's damage buff for having an overshield works with the shield give by Icefall Mantle. (Vexcaliber + Whisper of Rime) Another fun little interaction with Vexcaliber is that the damage buff also works with Stasis Overshield provided by Whisper of Rime when picking up Stasis Shard. Vexcaliber will even cause it to replace the Stasis Overshield with a fresh new Void overshield when getting a melee kill. And if that isn't enough when you pick up a Stasis Shard with Whisper of Rime while having less than full health, the health bump you get still counts as an overshield for Vexcaliber even if one is not visible. And this unseen overshield can't be shaved of by damage because the overshield isn't visible so it just take life like normal making it easier for you to trade this invisible for a full Void overshield on a melee kill. Not sure this is interaction is intentional, but it is so minute I don't think a lot of people know about it.
But the thing is, why would you run icefall mantle when you can run synthos or wormgods to further buff Vexcalibur melee? I get the idea of BAM instant overshield, but I mean, you can literally block with Vexcalibur for one second to get just a hair of overshield and then melee an ad and get your full overshield anyway. Plus icefalls overshield just makes it so you can’t sprint or double jump which is counter productive to a melee build.
The abyss defiant Auto rifle with pugilist and incandescence is fantastic with sunbracers. The scorching effects of incandescent and melee regeneration of pugilist at the same time both work together on the solar build to regenerate melee combined with the cursed thrall effect from melee kills.
What also makes the Necrotic Grip + Arcane Needle so powerful is that Unravel automatically proc it’s damage due to the poison. The Necrotic-Carlo build is probably my favorite in the game, it’s incredibly strong.
Good to see others using this wonderful combo. I never see anyone else doing this! Monte became my favorite primary exotic in the matter of an hour after unlocking strand warlock. Its great in pve and quite solid in pvp.
Gyrfalcons + Ruinous effigy. The loop is dodge, create transmutation sphere and go to town dunking or draining. Youll be invisible pretty much the whole time. Also I think the sphere suppresses now from a past patch
Gyrefalcon’s + Lorentz Driver makes for a surprisingly powerful add clear burst. Great for enemy-dense content, especially if you get Lagrangian Sight up and running.
Cool video, I now want to give Triton with Epileptic another try! Here’s a couple Hunter combos I ran in GMS back in season 20 Skyburners plus Ophidia Spathe. Weighted knife on scorched enemies ignites. Skyburners with ember of singeing gives back melee. Ophidia gives more uptime on this. Athrys’s Embrace with Conditional Finality (could substitute other exotics that freeze without kill). Weighted knife deals a ton of damage with Athrys, instant freeze makes it deal even more damage and chunk down champs or anything you want outside of bosses. Ember of torches/knock ‘em down to refund knife on kill.
Monte Carlo and pyrogales, infinite fire tornadoes, I like roaring flames more than sol invictus for the second aspect but the fire sprite can be a second fire tornado for conse or a 4th for the super

It poisions, and the posion ticks make and break volatile. I've never had a problem with it personally, so it may just not be for you. Dead messenger is really fun too, makes me wish it did a little more...
Personally I prefer running a Destabilizing Rounds on Heroes Burden over any other void weapon. Harsh language can roll it too but lack of an auto reloading perk while stowed on special GLs annoy me.
@@ashar05 you'd think so but just guarantees almost 100% uptime of volatile rounds. Like in a scenario I dodge DPS a boss with my volatile round MG. In theory your dodge would be up and ready to go but that's not always the case.
the first arrow impact dmg isnt volatile, but all the poison ticks are. Every enemy poisoned by the first shot become volatile, so if the enemy dies to the poison tick they explode
The fact that I've been using the Monte-Sunbracers build as my main since YEAR 1 D1 and Monte still almost never leaves my loadout and the UA-camrs are just now (8-10 months ago) 8-9 years later makes me estatic cause my babys are finally getting their deserved spotlight but also FURIOUS cause EVERYONE including the youtubers told me it was trash for YEARS but we'll take this win my 5 fellow Monte enjoyers
Pugilist is weapon dependent. For all primaries, it is 10% Melee gained. For most Specials except traces, glaives, and grenade launchers it is 20%. Pugilist gives +35 Handling too. Monte Carlo gives 2% melee energy per weapon hit from normal shooting with a 25% chance of full melee back from a kill. The bayonet portion grants 50% melee energy from the bayonet hit. The reason why pugilist has a place is because of Incandescent, Dragonfly, Firefly, and Voltshot for ad clear weapons. For bows, it's nice because bows deal a lot of damage too. You CANNOT simply write off a Perk tbh as sometimes it's better to use a stronger exotic for damage or such for it. Though I do think Monte Carlo has some of the best synergy with Athrys's Embrace on Solar Hunter
You don’t need Monte Carlo to get infinite sunbracers, literally just put on 3 Momentum transfers and the blobs of the solar nade gives you your melee back.
Dont need that either. Use heat rises and not icarus dash. Heat rises gives you melee energy when you are in the air. Dont even need to have heat rises active. But if you do and use phoenix dive younget restoration x2. And with ember of empyrean you can have infinite melees, grenades and restoration
I feel like titan exotics don't really zen with weapons so much as they provide subclass synergy and stronger neutral game which is arguably better in many cases. I lot of times their stuff just does a cool enough thing on it's own that making it double down with a weapon would be hellish. Think of the heyday of One-Eyed Mask or Lorely... obviously there's some that aren't great but y'all get some nuclear exotic drops sometimes that go unanswered for a LONG time...
Because it's still going on, pay to win gun (Tessellation)+Speedloader Slacks with Gunpowder Gamble on Solar Hunter. GPG allows for infinite special shot on Tessellation once it's charged, Speedloader Slacks allows for quicker reload once you've fired all 6 shots in Tessellation. If this gets patched before you get to this combo, you can try Lucky Pants+Sturm with Drang.
Le Monarque w/ Gyrfalcon's has been one of my favorite builds since that chestplate came out. Glad to see I'm not alone! Path of Burning Steps and Parasite is another favorite of mine, but Vex was the very first weapon I ever paired with em
I have a decent all round build for voidwalker that I love, Nezarecs sin with devour, chaos accelerant, weakening grenades, vortex grenades, Likely Suspect with successful warm up, and Commemoration. My build has constant grenade up time as long as I can get multikills with my weapons or grenades plus the weakening helps with beefier enemies like champions, minibosses, or bosses, has great crowd control and can generate alot of orbs with firepower and void siphon. Echo of Instability gives volatile for those who want more void or anti barrier
Ruinous effigy + briarbinds. Best with like teleport or so. It’s just wild. Send your soul, kill one with the trace rifle, teleport in, take the void orb and block damage, disrupt everything around you and watch your souls eat your enemies. Take soul, teleport to next group, slam your orb and so on. Really hard to get into it, especially with picking up the orbs and souls by accident, but kinda crazy completely different playstyle
Lucky Pants is why I have almost 18K kills on Crimson lol. It's arguably better on either Stasis or Strand due to each having auto-reload aspects (Whisper of Impetus and Thread of Ascent) and ESPECIALLY Stasis due to Whisper of Rending. Alternatively, Malfeasance is ofc the better damage option with Lucky Pants, or if you're looking for a Legendary option, Warden's Law w/ 4th Times + Vorpal matches the damage of Malfeasance so long as the target isn't Taken or marked by Witherhoard which allows you to run another Exotic of your choice
I love to use Mechaneer's Tricksleeves with Devil's Ruin. Slap on Solar Dexterity and Reload mods to keep the damage flowing. You can also put Holster mods on your legs cuz you can activate the sidearm's laser beam with any amount of ammo loaded, even a single round. I pair it with Lonesome in PvP; "The Lonesome Devil" also, Star-Eater Scales+Wavesplitter should speak for itself.
Agers + Mantle works for me. Stasis damage x4 almost all the time and consume super to max out damage when needed. Not a fan of warlock stasis super so don’t miss not using it but that’s just me
This is a really strong but normal build. Hunter, void, one arrow for add clear or 3 arrow for DMG and the aspect with devour, gyrfalcons, lingering dread (blinding, Auto loading and chill clip), any void weapon for the energy slot (I like the SMG unforgiven with demo and frenzy) and leviathans breath. Basically have add clear, crowd control and DMG, also you have unstoppable, antibarrier and overload because of the chill clip, and the volatile rounds. You can play any activity with this and it stays soo good.
I'd say the problem with Le Monarque in GMs is Wish Ender just out classes it in every way for single target DPS. So Le Monarque for Overload or Ad clear, Wishender for everything else. Pair Wish Ender with a Destabilizing Rounds weapon. Wishender just really can't be beat in GMs and Master lost sectors.
Felwinters helm + echo of cessation, obscurity and persistence. I use it with a repulsor brace trace rifle to make sure I can get the finishers. Mostly a support build tho. Use with heartshadow for debuff extension if you wanna get funky I guess
Something I've been doing this season is travelers chosen with the catalyst and nezarecs sin. Throw your grenade first to proc osmosis and just regen abilities like crazy.
I call this build Inscorcherate Hunter, incandescent weapon, weighted throwing knife, that one fragment that gives you radiant on melee kills. Skyburners, speedloaders. (Throw on gunpowder gamble for more booms)
Mmm idk about that. They’re probably close but a legendary weapon that requires precision damage for one perk and fighting a boss for the other perk compared to an exotic that slaps everything regardless (but also comes with vorpal as a catalyst)seems like there is a clear winner DPS wise. But if WL(adept) m/LP is your favorite combo have at it. I’m not gonna stop your fun.
@NrdDy saw a damage test video comparing the two, wardens law Adept was pumping out crazy damage compared to Malfeasance even with Witherhoard applied , I think it was an Aztecross video

Not technically an exotic combo. But Strand Grappling and Ruinous Effigy. Kill with trace, pick up transmutation orb, grapple across the map and slam at speed from whatever height. Fun in both pve and pvp As it works on all 3 characters. Room to experiment with exotic armour Edit: but thinking about it. The orb melee might combo well with banner of war titans
Verity’s brow and trinity ghoul or vesper of radius with trinity ghoul, use mods to grant grenade/melee energy and arc siphon, you have constant out going damage from grenades and melee, healing rifts with arc souls and chaos reaches, great for ad clear or solo lost sectors
The collective obligation and gyrfalcons combo is much more lethal when you utilize suppression grenades so you can leech suppression, volatile, and weaken all on the gun and have those buffs running effectively forever which is very lethal.
There was a seasonal mod that made it so stasis crystals and elemental wells gave super energy and one that made an orb of power on a stasis melee before Heavy Handed was a mod, so with one hunter melee you could spawn an Orb, a Stasis Well, and a Stasis shard that all gave you super energy. Pairing that with Ager's and Star-Eaters made it so I could get 3-4 tornados per Gambit match because of how much super generation I had.
My combo: Second Chance & Monte, or Second Chance & Collective Obligation. Bastion + Demolition. Another build which focuses more on being an ever advancing juggernaut is Hallowfire Heir Apparent. Heirs good for tankiness, does solid damage, and is solar if course, and post rework hallow spawns a sunspot at the place an enemy dies if you are in a sunspot. Which might work even if you just have sol invictus procd, not sure.
Mothkeeper's + Tessalation. I run strand: Widows Silk/ Whirling Maelstrom Ascent/Generation/Transmutation/Warding With weapons: Rufus's Fury: Enhanced Demolition/Target Lock Semiotician: Enhanced Field Prep/Bipod I'd really like to hear your opinion.
You gotta build into it a good amount, I usually use lorely splendor on solar titan but I guess this could be used on any class for a pve set up: Lumina + Ember of Benevolence
Ok, don’t know if this has been recommended yet. Boots of the assembler with edge of intent. Then slap on the fragment that boosts a to ability regeneration when you heal friends.
Im surprised nobody mention stronghold + lament. Because it didnt get touched by the energy rework, it is really good with stronghold so you can instantly block after a heavy attack. You can also be immortal with the right build
Been loveing cyrtarchnes facade with lament grapple towards something you wanna destroy then grapple away or teammate needs to be revived grapple there and hold block
I feel like these days a build being good at add clear is just all Destiny builds. Some do it faster than others, but add clear for the most part isn't hard. I guess if you mostly play lower level seasonal content that's all you really need, but I don't have a ton of interest in builds that can't chew through champions in Legend/Master content. Also Hawkmoon's x7 Paracausal Shot doesn't really stack with Lucky Pants. Your best options there are Malfeasance, a well rolled Warden's Law, or maybe Sunshot if running a Gunslinger build as it has a lot of synergy to make up for the lower damage. Crimson and The Last Word also build stacks fast but they run out of ammo too quickly to make full use of the buff timer.
A gun with incandescent works alot better for the sunbracera combo bc it procs ember of searing, combo that with heat rises and you get like 50% melee energy back for killing a scorched target while airborne
I second this, heat rises and ember of searing is enough to get a bunch of melee energy back. Unless if you prefer icarus dash over heat rises, monte carlo isn’t offering much besides not having to get a kill in air (by simply jumping).
I think you’re missing out on the purpose of collective obligation with gyrfalcons, using collective too essentially spread all 3 void debuffs too every enemy

also, Star-Eater Scales+Wavesplitter should speak for itself.
I call this build Inscorcherate
Hunter, incandescent weapon, weighted throwing knife, that one fragment that gives you radiant on melee kills.
Skyburners, speedloaders.
(Throw on gunpowder gamble for more booms)
The cool thing about RoF vex is that it gives you access to radiant on other subclasses for cool combos
Lucky pants + wardens law adept (w/ 4th time&vorporal)= massive dps. Better than malfeasance!
You can use dawn chorus with different subclasses too, and I'm pretty sure on strand it counts 3 melee charges as one so it's even better
A build that i used a lot in solstice a lot was sunshot + ahamkara's spine with gunpower gamble. sunshot made it really easy to build up gunpowder gamble and refill trip grenade cause it ignites.
Too bad ahamkara's is getting murdered pretty soon
@@jibbily27 sorry, i live under a rock; how isit getting murdered?
@@Dolgifo_549 they're changing it to grant trip mine energy on kill and not just on ability damage
They made this change likely to target the constant uptime of trip mines in pvp, but the change is probably gonna effect pve too
Dawn chorus on strand with an Incandescent weapon and weavewalk. Kill enemy, enter weavewalk. All enemies that burn from Incandescent will give you melee regen while you're in weavewalk, and also make your threadlings attack enemies nearby
Only glaive build ive been able to enjoy is Vex with Gyrfalcon and the health regen on melee fragment
I've been playing with the Monte Carlo and the Point Contact Cannons, just fun to shoot lightning all the time
Gryfalcons+wave splitter+ special ammo finder/finisher+ void siphon
Got sunbracers yesterday and I'm using tested this combo. This is legitimately sick af. Somany orbs, so many bombs, so much damage. The best thing is that with Monte Carlo you can in theory (hadn't had the time to test this yet) you can be the ultimate healer because you've spam around 5 or 6 healing grenades after another.
Sunbracers don't work w/ healing nades. Only with basic solar grenades
@@sugoha_2548 that's sad. But thank you for saving my time 😊
Just thinking about how op this would be with other solar grenades like the drones or mines. That would be absolutely ridiculous
@@Mr.Mo20 yeah that's why it only works with one grenade type (fusion nades would be absolutely gamebreaking aswell). Although they should change the name of "solar grenades" because it's confusing for new players who think this works with all solar grenades
@@sugoha_2548 I absolutely agree with that. Do you have any ideas in mind what you could call it? I would think "mini sun" would be funny and cute.
Monte carlo + young ahamkara spine + weighted throwing knife + gunpowder gamble.
Explosionssssss
Ruinous effigy + gyrfalcon, Trinity ghoul + shinobu, and coldheart + frostee (stasis) are my top 3 hunter exotic combo.
gyrfalcons plus LeMon is a void hunter staple. it is my go to build when i don’t want to have to think too hard.
Glad to know you enjoyed my suggestion :)
Monte carlo with sunbracers is not the play. I ONLY run crafted imperial decree with enhanced pugilist and my crafted calus mini tool when im running sunbracers. It also helps that I have Triple 100 Res/Rec/Str with 95 discipline.
Names for the builds
1. Divine soul
2. Chromatic outbreak
3. Fast rat
4. Dawn of the heir wings
5. Heir's war
6. Actium lord or Actiums thunder
7. Carlo's sun
8. Monte grips wanted to say necro's carlo buts its not nectochazam
9. Lucky crimson
10. Lucky moon's
11. Collective sin
12. Geo's tomb
13. Hearts tomb

18 skyburnners chorus or Dawns oath
19. Monarque's falcons
20. Falcons Obligations
21. Felwinter's toaster it cant get better
22. Star eaters scepter
Vex mytho on strand warlock with Rain of fire, the strand dodge activates reloads and you have constant radiant
that dawn chorus & skyburner oath is mind-breaking, who could had thought of sth like that......
div + arc souls is definitely more of a crucible pairing. I've had plenty of fun in iron banner with it.
Not technically an exotic combo. But Strand Grappling and Ruinous Effigy.
Kill with trace, pick up transmutation orb, grapple across the map and slam at speed from whatever height.
Fun in both pve and pvp
As it works on all 3 characters. Room to experiment with exotic armour
Edit: but thinking about it. The orb melee might combo well with banner of war titans
Sky burners or Polaris plus dawn chorus with weave walk, scorch something then spit a bunch of threadlings at it while invis
Heir aparent can do suprisingly decent damage against bosses when you need a lot of ammo because the dps phases come back to back so rapidly.
Do dawn, skyburners and strand warlock with the newest aspect the one where you use melee to get that 90%damage
Fallen Sunstar with Delicate Tomb is a good way to support my squad and gain abilities more quickly
Gryfalco with a QuickDraw explosive payload bottom dollar with subsistence- ABSOLUTE GOD TIER
Severance enclosure + monte carlo on strand (banner)
Any glaive work to prock banner too
To be fair to the guy who said divinity + arc souls, he was probably referring to it being funny in pvp.
I genuinely use divinity in pvp anyway. I dont play warlock very often atm but i could see arc souls making that pretty good
Dawn Chorus + Tommy’s 10:05
Verity’s Brow + Any Void wp with (DEMOLITIONIST) 6:37
Mothkeeper's + Tessalation. I run strand:
Widows Silk/ Whirling Maelstrom
Ascent/Generation/Transmutation/Warding
With weapons:
Rufus's Fury: Enhanced Demolition/Target Lock
Semiotician: Enhanced Field Prep/Bipod
I'd really like to hear your opinion.
Osteo Striga + Necrotic on Stasis with Iceflare bolts and Bleak Watcher
I tried Chromatic plus ace. Sounds better than it feels
Wicked Implement + Cadmus Ridge Lancecap has potential for higher tier activities
You gotta build into it a good amount, I usually use lorely splendor on solar titan but I guess this could be used on any class for a pve set up:
Lumina + Ember of Benevolence
yay i got mentioned
Warden's Law Fourth Times the CHarm Vorpal, Devil's Ruin solar holster, any heavy with auto loading holster + Lucky Pants
Void titan with armamentarium and monte carlo. Echo of exchange, echo of starvation, echo of harvest and echo of undermining
Graviton lance/ gyrfalcons is probably the best add clear in the game
That or some necro osteo thing.
I been using combo 19 for the longest time now. Probably one of the best builds out there for GMs so I would def recommend it. 😊
It's legend but Gyrfalcons with any repulsor brace weapon. Invis and void overshield on volatile kill. Nasty for endgame.
Mask of Bakeries + Aeger Scepter + Sweet Sorrow(demolitionist) constant damage buff no matter which slot
Actium with a fourth time perk on MG makes it so you NEVER have to reload
Ok, don’t know if this has been recommended yet.
Boots of the assembler with edge of intent. Then slap on the fragment that boosts a to ability regeneration when you heal friends.
Collective obligtion+Nezzy sin+ Volatile grenade Aspect Best add clear 👌
Which one of you theived my chromatic outbreak loadout? You beautiful bastard.
I seriously thought I was the only one
Im surprised nobody mention stronghold + lament. Because it didnt get touched by the energy rework, it is really good with stronghold so you can instantly block after a heavy attack. You can also be immortal with the right build
Crown splitter, strong holds and banner of war
I hope you have fun with this one like I do, No Back Up Plans and Tractor Cannon (with double shotgun)
There's so many with Gyrfalcons. Currently pairing that with Graviton Lance or Fighting Lion for lulz.
Ager scepter with osmiomancy gloves for warlock, Titan synthoceps and monte carlo, hunter trinity ghoul with star eaters
Gyrfalcons with Ruinous Effigy is a blast! Plus this season's elemental orbs...👨🍳😘
Dawn Chorus plus strand (Weave Walk and a good incandescent weapon)
A gun with incandescent works alot better for the sunbracera combo bc it procs ember of searing, combo that with heat rises and you get like 50% melee energy back for killing a scorched target while airborne
I second this, heat rises and ember of searing is enough to get a bunch of melee energy back. Unless if you prefer icarus dash over heat rises, monte carlo isn’t offering much besides not having to get a kill in air (by simply jumping).
For the corrective obligation use a suppress grenade and it’s so much better imo
I think you’re missing out on the purpose of collective obligation with gyrfalcons, using collective too essentially spread all 3 void debuffs too every enemy
Burning steps is niche but feels amazing when it does work
