@@ginavadanaphotographer I'll be keeping a lookout for it! I am currently trying to figure out my go-to lighting set up so seeing others can be inspiring. 💡📸☺️
oh nice, are you having a home studio too? or in a photography studio? wishing you good luck, isn't it exciting to figure it out yourself what you like in terms of lighting? it is such a new and captivating world for me@@corykphotography
@@ginavadanaphotographer it is very exciting! It is a home studio. So far I have 2 Godox AD200 Pro strobes, a Godox V1 Speed light, a Godox tt685 speed light and tt350 speed light. With my modifiers it seems like that variations are endless and sometimes it gets overwhelming. My big issue lately is shadow control from the shadows casting off my subjects. Practice makes perfect though! I wish you the best of luck and I will be watching you're journey for some tips :)
Also, thank you for introducing me to the FV200! I didn't even know it existed but it is definitely a strobe/constant light that I could really use! So thank you for that! @@ginavadanaphotographer
You re so adorable and i hope you keep this excitement this enthusiasm forever Thank god youtube did good job to recommend you so this godox fv200 is hybrid? like you can you use it as flash and as continues light? best wishes gina we are waiting more ^_^
Hello! Thank you for being here and for watching this video. I am glad it helped u in some way! Yes, the FV200 is a 2in1 light and very suitable for my needs atm. And I do hope that I will keep my enthusiasm high and curiosity to explore and grow in my craft! ☺️
I was excited to see your video on this topic pop up! I recent bought a could small LED light panels and I am not read to go into flash (we have that set up too but I am more comfortable with the continuous). I will look at the light you recommended as well!!
Right? Continuous light is so easy and fast to use 😅 I am happy that I am not the only one saying it. But flash, as so many experienced photographers say, gives an extra boost of light when used 😁 maybe I should start using it again and see the vibes! Thank you for watching and I wish you a good luck with your photography journey ♥️
Hi Gina, it looks great, I didn't know about the Godox FV200. The standard light for photo studio flash is the Godox AD600BM. This is more powerful (600 watts instead of 200 watts) but it is only useful for photos. I have a new studio in the basement of my house, and my main purpose is video even though I like also taking some pictures, so definitely I think that the FV200 may be a great option as my only study light. Currently I am using a Godox ML60 (a portable 60 watt continuous light), so the FV200 will be definitely a great improvement. Thanks for sharing!
Oh thank you for sharing too! I might invest in an AD 600 at some point to have even more light. I believe for the surface of my studio, 200 seems just about right. But sometimes, I would want it a bit more powerful as the subject gets far away from it. Perhaps I should look into it! As for your light, niceee. It seems like you know about lighting. And yes, I initially wanted more godox 60s but they didn't make justice for what I needed. For videography, I find FV200 doing great job! Let me know your update I wish you good luck with your studio work and videography! 👋🏼
Hi Gina nice video. Do you have enough light that you can keep de ISO low and the shutterspeed like 1/1200? I'm searching to buy some light but I don't know flash or continues light.
Flash will give you the highest bang for your buck when it comes to power. More than 32 times the equivalent in wattage for continuous light. But if you also shoot video, then an FV would be a good compromise. If not, then a Godox AD200, AD400, or AD600 will do the trick. If you don't care about portability, then the SK lights will do the trick (they are wall powered so they are meant to stay in the studio). If you want to start small, then any Godox TT speed light or V1 would work very well. Combined with Umbrellas and you have the highest bang for any buck for a relatively cheap, portable and very capable setup
Hey Cynthia! As @glassosiris commented too, with flash that can be achieved. I believe that for photography and videography combined, this light is doing its job. I do feel that I would need one more light, perhaps a Godox v1 to use for the background or the other side, for more e-commerce photography. But for my video purposes and portraits shoots, I am content. However, when I use it as a continuous light, if outside is darker and grey, It won't reach a high shutter speed. If it's bright and sunny, sometimes I need to adjust it. But soon I will be installing no see through curtains, that way I have fully control of my light in the studio! Hope this helps!!! 🤗 wishing you the best of luck
I love the look and quality of your lighting setup! Very very nice.
Thank you! I am glad you enjoyed my set up. I am in the midst of creating changes and adding. I will create a new video to show I am doing it!
