My grandmother dug a hole, put in a real copper penny, a rusty nail, and an unused match from a matchbook. She'd put it in the holes for her transplants. At the end of the year, she would dig up the penny and nail to reuse. The match would have disappeared.

I read one study on electro culture that basically was intentionally used to make farmers and growers to turn against electro culture that said if everyone switched to electro culture there would be an adundance of food and produce wouldn’t sell for much due to supply and demand… we just harvested our early crop of red potatoes that we planted at the end of March, the plants closest to the antennae’s grew 52 inches tall while other grew to the average 30-40 inches. It definitely works! I even make tiny little 6 inch tall copper coils for my starter trays and seeds that typically take 7-10 days to germinate only took 3-4 days! He’s correct, it doesn’t replace nutrition and good soil, but the electricity makes for healthier sap within the plants, plants rely on electricity just as our bodies do. Also copper keeps away certain pests like slugs and snails that can cause a lot of foliage damage, copper collars around the base of plants will keep away any slugs and snails, their bodies can’t touch it, or they get a jolt due to the nature of their slime coating… if you can make the switch from using iron and steel tools in your garden to using copper made tools. Over time using iron and steel in the garden adds to your soil rust and particles that gum up your soil, and deprive it of nutrients, this happens due to abrasion between the soil and the iron tools. Copper has the opposite effect, fluffy breathable soil with time! There are studies on this as well, from the late 1800s into early 1900s!

Between the extreme UV rays, 120 degree sun, drought then torrential rains..it works. Only those who take the time to observe their plants will understand. Thank you for your clear explanation on the direction of the coils! I’ve been so confused because it seems that everyone agrees that it should be clockwise for northern atmosphere, but I see it done differently. I had my own idea of what clockwise is, but now that I see your video, I understand where all the confusion is from. The way I understood was to coil it clockwise as if looking straight at it. Imagine looking at your wrist watch and there was a stick coming right out of the middle. If you were to coil a wire around that stick going in the same direction as the hands (clockwise), then it will actually be counterclockwise when looking at it from the bottom up or top down. So the way I’m seeing it (as if looking at my watch), I actually have to wind it counterclockwise in order for it to come out clockwise as I look under it going up, or looking at it from top, going down. This makes for a good brain-teaser!

I saw this on DEEP SOUTH HOMESTEAD and he said who was making them and told us to check out your channel. Well, I don't know whether to hug your neck or ring it! My husband made some of these and placed them in our raised beds (not in all of them) and we have harvested so much more this year than any other times. We have 4x8 beds about 2 ft deep. I have picked and picked and picked several days in a row and canned 7 pints per day each time. I'm running out of jars! My cucumbers have so much I'm tired of looking at them (LOL not really) and I have pickles out the ying yang. The beans are double and triple in size and so green. My peppers have tripled in size and not even ripe yet. The onions have huge. The garlic is gigantic. We have raised beds in the greenhouses and they are also doing awesome. We succession planted blue lake beans and glad we did. Gives me a break from beans! The watermelson and cantaloupes are running like crazy and blooming but not ready to produce just yet. We live in upstate South Carolina between Greenville and Clemson. God has been good for sending leading us to people like you and Deep South.

I’m been using similar antennas for a couple of years now and the results speak for themselves. I use chicken wire to trellis anything that climbs: beans and peas are way taller than me. I also grow tomatoes around an isolated copper wire, basically growing around its antenna. Again, results are there and electro culture works for those willing to spend some time in the garden.

I do address the soil in some of the videos. It all begins in the soil, proper ph, minerals, NPK, etc. I use all natural fertilizer and compost. Thanks for the great comment.

Now I know why my yields got better when I started using cattle panel to trellis my tomatoes, cucumber, beans and peas. Not just what I had growing on the trellis bot everything. I plant trellis plants on every other row so I can use my cub to cultivate and clean the middle. By luck my rows run north and south. Ive been building this soil for years it wasn't real good when I started. I took cow bones gathered from my pasture, ran them through an old hammermill, wood chips I got from a friend with a landscaping company, charcoal and ash from burning brush piles and plowed this into my soil. This was the first year of building that soil but it's an ongoing process. I'm a big fan of the moldboard plow and use one every spring to plow and turn whatever it is I'm adding into the soil. My soil has gone from a light colored mix of sand and clay to a dark, rich soil that doesn't turn as hard as concrete when it gets dry. In fact it holds moisture much longer than it used to.

I live out here in the country and there's a lot of farmland and there's a lot of metal fence post with Barbed wire fence. And I have noticed the grass on the fence North and South is thicker on two sides of that then that that goes east and West. Always wondered growing up why, but I never knew why until I found your videos and I had never heard of electroculture. You can even see this phenomenon even in the city with chain-link fences. Thank you for teaching me how to build these I have built me about twenty-four of them and because I'm just too lazy to build more I just purchased 5 more from store.

I have watched and I want scientific proof of anything before I become a believer.
I worked as a plumber my entire life, I was a field rep for AO Smith water heaters for a while, and I can tell you, the Anode rod in your water heater serves a purpose, you can read details on the internet.
In my personal testing of these copper coils, I have seen changes in tomato plants. The first thing I noticed was the leaves went from curving downward to turning upward. The second thing I noticed was the blooms were opening at a faster rate. And the third was the size difference of the plants after one week of having the copper antenna installed.
I started with 4 antenna in wicking tubs, four in regular planting tubs with drain holes, and all using the same potting mix and nutrients.
The four antenna in the wicking tubs are out growing the four wicking tubs with no antenna.
The four wicking tubs with antenna are out growing the four regular tubs with drain holes.
The difference in antenna construction makes a difference in the plant size and response.
The plants with antennas made with 4 coils are not developing at the same rate as the ones with antennas with 7 coils.
The antennas with a 6" stem and 6" top, with 7 coils, placed on the south side of the tomato plants seem to have the greatest results, the plants are bigger and the foliage is standing up rather than drooping, and the blooms are developing faster than other plants.
I am in zone 7B I think, according to the new zone maps. In western Arkansas in the mountains.
I will continue to monitor results and will try to comment with results throughout the season, but the results I am seeing already is pointing to this idea working.
I don’t believe in chi, and life force, and all that other hippie culture propaganda.
But, I do believe in the magnetic poles, static electricity, and, referring back to that simple anode rod in your water heater, I believe that antenna may be drawing minerals to make them more readily available for plant uptake.
This is just my honest opinion and I hope this helps anyone looking for more research on this electroculture idea.

I have two orders coming from you, one is on the way and the other is being processed. I have been unable to find copper around the area and when I went to a Lowe’s last week, the guy I asked asked if it was for electro culture and surprised I said yes. He said a lot of people are asking about the copper so no wonder I can’t find any. He said he was going to study about it since s he’s asked a lot recently. We had storms yesterday so will see how these work. I did get a few from someone else but looking forward to receiving yours. Love your knowledge.

One method is using metal fencing to capture electric energy from lightening, the other is capturing constant electric current from the aether, which is the Electroculture method where he uses the Copper Coil Antenna. I could not find copper wire at Lowes in the electrical department. The sales helper suggested copper wire in the WELDING department. I bought that. It comes on spools in different gages.

I would like to make an additional comment to that, which is, it's good and very imperative to use the
Electroculture / magnetoculture, as it helps the plants uptake the nutrients for the plant,
But, however, IF, the soil is deleted or lacking nutrients and Electroculture in itself, will not help !
So, that now brings me to say the point, that, maybe we should not totally and wholly rely on Electroculture?
So do a combination of things while experimenting the best method needed for each person's grounds.
So so ideas to mix is, e.g,
Compost teas, wormycasts, volcanic ash, epsom salts, introduction of earthworms, adding some comfrey fertilizer to soil, drip feeding water, etc etc the list could go on . . . But i guess you get the idea?

I'm in my 4th week, with copper wire in my food forest. I'm adding more every week until I have all my garden covered. I'm going to make the ones for fruit trees this weekend. So far a few things are looking better.

I can't wait to try elec troculture in my N.E. Ohio garden. 2nd year gardener at age 66. Made my own compost, started amending last year's clay soil ground beds in late February, treated organically for grubs, etc, started seeds indoors, planted out end of May. Just finishing up direct sowing some things. What could it hurt to experiment with electroculture?❤😊

Thanks for joining our channel Divlnorum. We appreciate you. To answer your excellent questions, 1.) we use un-insulated 12 gauge 100% Copper wire. 2. Yes and Yes. The Electroculture 100% Copper Coil Antenna can be placed directly into the soil..i.e. raised bed, row garden, container garden, even your houseplant's soil. It will cover a 3' radius placed directly into the soil. Every 1.5 feet more electricity is captured, so to increase your coverage as in an orchard, you could stake it as long as the Electroculture Copper Coil antenna connects to the earth via another copper wire 2-4" into the ground and wrapped counter clockwise up the wooden stake. Thanks! I like the video. One thing I'd like to throw at you though. As far as I understand, with the olde way of doing this, the copper should be coiled around a wooden pole. And ideally it could be braided wire. But having it mixed with wood could be real important, because the copper is a conductor while the wood is an insulator, and this is how orgone energy is generated. A step beyond that could be to get fancy making orgonite, using geometric designs and spirals along with crystals and the like. But the basic, most important part is just to have conductive metal with insulative material.
We use several methods of Electroculture here at our homestead. The Electroculture Copper Coil Antenna is productive in a couple of ways. One, directly into the soil, we have experienced exponential growth and strength resulting from the health of the plants. Also mounted
on 6' wooden stakes with a copper conducter wound up and around the stake and placed into the soil on one end and onto the antenna on the other end has given great results in our orchards and areas where we want broader coverage, in fruit and plant production. I love the antenna I got from you. There is so much of a difference of plants with vs without them. I had never thought about north south fence before. The very back of my property has north south fence and I had it cleared and it just blew up with growth faster than the east west sides.

It is helping most of my garden, however I should not have used compost before finding out if it was sprayed with Graison..Hard lesson learned, but at least there are some areas that did not get the compost..👍
I've made that mistake! Got a bunch of "free mulch", killed everything I put it on.

I haven't heard of Graison. But I get herbicide damage in my garden about 60% of the time whenever I put manure or manure-based compost into the beds. I do know that one state has banned a certain herbicide because of the damage it was doing to people's crops and gardens. It should be banned in all 50 states.
Until that happens, I have decided to stop using manure and I now have great yields again. I use oak leaves, applied as a 6 to 12 inch mulch around the plants. This year's mulch becomes next year's compost. I chop it up with the lawn mower and till it in. I also apply a liquid fertilizer every seven days and my tomato plants get about 12 to 13 feet tall, every year. My biggest concern is the stinkbug damage. It makes the tomatoes taste terrible. So far, I've only seen a few this year and I just sprayed some Sevin insecticide on them a few days ago. I've got tons of green tomatoes out there, Cherokee Purples and Better Boys, so I think this year is gonna be a good one. I can almost taste the BLTs now.

This year is our first time ever growing tomatoes. We live in the high desert. So far, I have 5. And, we put a cherry tomato about 10 miles away at the boyfriends house. Yesterday we picked the first one. It was SO sweet. We have to keep them netted because of birds and squirrels. So far so good.

I watched one of your first electro culture videos & was intrigued by the concept. We had leftover copper wire, so we made some antennas using your model. I grow mainly in recycled livestock mineral tubs, old leakyfeed & water troughs, kiddie wading pools. All of the plants are more vigorous, with more flowers & fruit than in the past. I appreciate your videos on this subject so much. My grandpa taught me how to do this years ago. He had those old books showing how to make them, the kind with pencil-like sketch drawings. I don't know what happened to them, wish I had them now. I have a question, I see you have the coated cages for your tomatoes. Won't that ground out the garden? What are your thoughts on that? My grandpa taught me after watering, not to leave the green rubber hose laying in the garden, he said it would take out what he's trying to put in. He also was very particular about all types of metal in the garden, & his tools being cleaned and polished with a rag of olive oil.
He was born in 1899 and died in the late 70's he was going on 80 and worked like a mule. Barely a gray hair, he said because of the copper. Every morning, He drank water out of his copper cup, he'd fill it the night before and put it in the fridge. The funeral home said he was the youngest "old" man they'd ever seen. It wasn't his genes either, he had 11 siblings and they all had gray hair. He was the oldest living son that didn't die from a heart attack. He actually died from appendicitis. He had pain for a couple days and then it burst, he felt better and got back to work. By the next day he had a fever and they said it was gangrene. He thought it was a gallstone and that's why he didn't go to the Doctor. The Dr. Said he was so healthy otherwise that he probably would have made it to 100!
Anyway, I have utilized several of his tricks and boy do I see a difference!

I never leave the water hose in the garden. I used to do that, but on a hot summer day, the water inside that hose can get extremely hot, even hot enough to burn your hand. The next time the water is turned on, that hot water can scorch and damage the roots of your plants. I stunted a tomato plant by accident for this very reason. So I never leave the end of the hose in my garden anymore.
I also heard about the Pennie’s but also that those copper coins made after 1982 or something isn’t full copper and am taking note 😊
Very informative video Mickey!! So many people are trying electroculture recently and Ive seen good and poor things being said, but you said it all here. So many are looking for that "magic fix", these antenaes are a booster they magnify the good already in the dirt and plant and make them both better. We've only had our garden planted almost a week but in my greenhouse I noticed that my tomato starts that had coils had thick massive roots (I use clear solo cups to start) the ones without the coils have thin hair like roots. Didnt notice anything with my pepper starts but my strawberries rooted so much deeper and faster, bush beans in the greenhouse germinated it 2 days and within a week are already 8 inches tall, the in ground garden without coils are on day 5 and still not germinated yet. My greenhouse tomato plants with coils are massive compared to my in ground plants without and they all started at the same time and they are the same kind. I made more coils and put them in my garden every other tomato plant. Ive got to get some more wire so I can make more, Ive done 60 or so as of now between the greenhouse, orchard and garden...I plan to make about a hundred and fifty more so that every row in the garden has a coil every 3 foot, might not all be done this summer but I plan to make as many of them as I can.

Recently bought some of your antennae and I was very intrigued by the accuracy of the coils. Being a retired Mechanical Engineer I was curious do you make these in a automation process like on a CNC lathe or are they hand wound? I own a 3D Printing business so I designed a helical mandrel and printed it so I can wind my own but they dont look as perty as yours! I also live in Mid TN so not so far from your place. Thanks for the videos. We really enjoy them!
Alas, bingfischer9679, we are not worthy of a CNC lathe, sad story but true, unfortunately we coil every single antenna by hand. Keep on being smart (work smarter not harder, take it from an ol country boy)

I am growing things in 5 gallon buckets set in 42" kidde pools.
I put 36" tall 2x4 galvanized fencing around the pools to keep critters out of my buckets.
I put galvanized tomato cages in all of my buckets. I cut 3" pieces of copper wire and I use them for twist ties to wire the tops of the cages together and wire the cages too the fence.
I noticed that all of my plants are growing taller with the cages on them.
I have some #12 solid copper wire from an old house demo.
I might try some antennas and see if it makes a diffe ence.

The Electroculture Copper Coil Antenna is one that we have found successful in our own orchards, where we grow apple, pear, peach, plum, blueberries, figs, and blackberries. If you decide to give Electroculture a try, we suggest using the ECCA attached to a stake in the ground at least 6 ft tall. It’s my understanding that a six foot copper-wound pole covers 225 sq ft. So I’ve connected one of your spirals on top of a 2 foot bamboo copper-wound stake thinking it will cover 75 feet. Do you think that is correct?

Maybe I misunderstood Danny from deep south? I thought he said to wrap counterclockwise? Or is it counter clockwise looking down at the coil once in the ground? Hi Joyce. Your coils should be running clockwise whether you look down at one end or up at the other end....either way your coil should be clockwise in the Northern Hemisphere. Happy Gardening!

Mickey has a future video coming out soon where he shows more detail in how he makes the galvanized baskets so I am sure he will touch on your question. Stay tuned. There are two different methods of Electroculture mentioned in the video. Electroculture and Electromagnetic energy. One uses the galvanized metal with magnets, the other uses the Copper Coil Antenna.

You said you even used cb antennas. I believe in your potatoes, you had blooms as high as the cb antenna. There is quite a bit more copper in a cb antenna than the 3' in your antenna. So more copper length and height of antenna would mean larger umbrella of effectiveness?

Hello josephmcgee8450. The T post and cattle panels running East and West will capture energy also, but the most energy will be collected when you have your panel running North and South. You will notice this especially when you have farm fence running both directions.

Does the method of electroculture draw lighting from storms
Hello Jimbo Justice. Mickey is speaking of two different methods of Electroculture in this video. Neither draws lightening from storms. When lightening is present, the wire cages/ fences/ etc capture some of the electric energy available in the atmosphere and transfers it to the plant that is touching the wire. When drawing electric energy from aether, which is constant, he is referring to the Electroculture Copper Coil Antenna that takes that energy and drives it into the soil. Hope this clarifies things. Doesn't the end of the coil into the soil determine the direction of the windings? If placed upside down the wrong direction of the coil windings will result.
We run the coil of the Electroculture Copper Coil Antennas clockwise. The onions in this video have grown exponentially. The way we have the coils turned, the length of the antenna, and the material that was used for the antenna in this method of Electroculture in this raised bed has been very successful.

When you say the antenna should be wound clockwise in the northern hemisphere, is that as viewed from the top or the bottom?

Good question, Kathy Mellin. When looking down the center of the coil, or raising it over your head and looking up into the center of the coil, you will see the wire running clockwise both ways.

Hi Janicegoff3385. We can speak for ourselves and from testimonies from some of our customers, the copper coil antennas help pest control in this way. If a plant is stronger and healthier, it naturally deters pest. A weak plant is usually what attracts pest. We do still see all of the above, but they do not overtake our garden due to the plants being strong and resistant, and one customer advised that the Copper Coil Antennas obliviated the persistant slugs from her strawberries.
