What an interesting experiment! Plants really do love those copper antennas. I put one in my hibiscus plant and it started budding out like crazy. My half dead rose bush is now producing leaves from the naked canes. Not only good for vegetables.
Wanda, WE LOVE the element of surprise you keep hitting Danny with! LOL. We have about 3 more days and we finally get a vine ripened red tomato here at the Hills of Tennessee!!! Mickey is so excited. Love you guys!
That was pulling a quick one on Danny and Chris. Great job though Wanda interesting results.. both the electric cultures had good results😊.. they sure was happy to know that they was getting some good old cooking afterwards😂
As a plant pathologist, I will put in my 2 cents worth. Depending on the soil pH, the available copper as a nutrient is greater the more acidic the soil. So you may be comparing apples to oranges if grown in different soils with different pH's. I think the differences are more attributed to the copper available in the soil as a nutrient. Therefore its possible that a copper coil vs a straight copper wire antenna makes little difference if the same soil is used. As most of us know, copper is an excellent fungicide and will protect against soil borne fungal pathogens - Pythium, Phytophthora and Rhizoctonia. Maybe the fungicide value of copper is actually playing a part along with available copper as a nutrient ? So if my opinion is true, you would get the same results with a handful of copper pennies as you would a copper coil if the soil and pH are the same. I do know that if you put a handful of pure copper pennies in a bird bath, it will keep the algae away. By pure copper pennies, I am referring to those minted before 1990. The later ones are copper clad zinc.
I did Van Doorne's magnetic antenna early this season. 2 with copper wires, 1 with galvanized steel. The galvanized steel had such a bigger effect than the copper wires that I switched the copper for the galvanized steel. All theory has said copper would be better but based on my experience, galvanized steel is a much better material to work with when using magnetic antennas.
That was a good one Ms Wanda, catching Mr Danny and Chris as they came in for lunch for a tomato taste test. Thanks for sharing that interesting experiment.
How fun this was to watch…we did both Danny’s electro culture and also Hills Mill electro culture on our tomatoes…so my husband said to me “you know what you are going to do when we pick our tomatoes, right?….you are going to be the taste tester!” We planted both Celebrity and some called Delicious. Thanks for making gardening fun for us! ❤️
The taste was just a prelude to Wanda’s magnificent cooking, the face they make when she says what’s on the menu is priceless! Awesome taste test and video!
Thanks Wanda! I’ve been sitting on the fence about spending more money on this garden and I haven’t gotten around to doing the copper coil‘s. Course I am nowhere near where you are with tomatoes. What a great meal to come into I wish I had a Wanda! God bless you all. Sorry I didn’t get down there in the winter.
Mornin’ and TY from Southern Ohio. I don’t know how my tomatoes are gonna turn out. 6 have homemade electro-culture. We finally got rain this week. They all have grown over the top of the cage. Amazing how much faster they grow with rain water than tap water. We shall see!
That's awesome!! I can't wait for my tomatoes to ripen, I did a few diy "curlies" in all my raised beds after seeing your video and Pinballs. So far, the plants where I placed them have grown well. Thank you!
Electroculture helped our butterkin pumpkin grow HUGE now the vine is longer than my greenhouse and it has so many leaf node roots, female flowers and leaves
I made my antennas out of 3/32 copper welding rods. Cost was $13. for 14 3' rods so about 92cents each. I think its helpng a lot, although I mulched my toms and peppers this year, and I flood the center. I am going to buy some more rods. I have Centennial and Bradley toms. Cant wait to do a taste test!!!!
Thanks Wanda, Danny, and Chris. I'm looking forward to tasting my cherry tomatoes grown with electroculture. It was interesting that the compost tomato had a thicker skin but the same flavor profile. I'm guessing that was because of genetics since the parent tomato was a hybrid. I'll be eating my first yellow squash grown with electroculture today. Much Love ❤
Well. Will See how mi e compare. I have celebrity tomatoes all same but two with and two without Mr Mickey’s antenna. But here in Indiana it will be some time before my taste test. Great test you did Wanda.
This was good.. Poor Danny.. you work so hard. You too Wanda.. Just Danny sure seems like a good old man. I felt sorry for him. He looks so tired. Thank God he had a good wife that can cook good and make him feel loved. I love y'all. Nice seeing your friend.
Great experiment!! Thanks for sharing. These storms this past weekend have wiped out our gardens. Winds and hail broke our tomatoes, and then everything flooded, it took days for us to be able to get out to the garden then the horn worms had devoured what was left. It’s so disheartening but I don’t want to give up yet. We’re in Laurel, zone 8, hoping I have enough time to try and start over with all my plants. Great video and beautiful tomatoes
Cucumbers & onions, tomatoes, blackeyed peas, mashed potatoes and cornbread with a side of hot chow-chow. This is what I ate, most every summer day, when I was growing up in the ‘50’s and early ‘60’s. In the fall we always had turnip greens😊
Love these kind of meals when I was a youngin Sundays at Mamaw’s we’d have pinto beans slaw fried taters skillet corn maters and onions and cucumbers in light vinegar sometimes kilt lettuce with cornbread and dessert was cornbread with sweet milk in a coffee cup lol lord I miss those days
G’mornin Danny and Wanda. The verdict is still out on electro culture in my garden. The microclimate has changed in our area. The weather has changed, so it’s hard to determine.
Very interesting! I like how you put a surprise on them. I have my own tests to run here. I have multiple antenna designs on the same type plants and see big differences in growth in each design. My problem is not shaking salt on them and eating as soon as I pull them in the garden. I'll have to try to get them inside for the test and that is so hard!
Ok! Now, I'm super excited for my tomatoes that I have around my little electro-culture coil. The only copper wire I was able to get in my little area w/o going to the city was a pretty thick gauge grounding copper for the house. However, the seeds I direct sowed germinated rather slowly but once they sprouted they are going like gangbusters. The direct sown seeds w/o a copper coil came up quicker but are much smaller even though they are technically older. All were sown at the same time. Iv'e been following along with ya all and it's been exciting.
I think if all 3 had come from the same SOIL that would have been a more accurate test. I love electroculture and use it in my garden with spectacular results. Different soils with different compositions and ammendments does have an effect on taste though too.
Danny I used DuMOR alfalfa pellets now my tomato , corn, pepper, collards, are not looking good….. Pumpkins and beans don’t look bad. But the tomato’s have parallel veins, distorted leaves, not the whole plant tho. However I put down the DuMOR pellets early spring -__- I’ve heard alfalfa was ok to use
Interesting video with the tomatoes, but the highlight of the show was the picture of the plate of delicious looking food...Ms.Wanda, it is killing me looking at that plate full of goodness.😊😊😊
Now I'm convinced all those coil spirals are important, likely must be included in the system for best results. (*Plz remind us what Danny's unit looked like ?) ... Points on Mystery🍅Tomatoes is puzzling. Oxheart has a similar shape, but maybe a Paste cross? EC must bring out recessive traits since greenhouse plant didn't do that. --🍒
The glow in Danny's eyes when you asked if they were ready for some fried corn 😄❤
What an interesting experiment! Plants really do love those copper antennas. I put one in my hibiscus plant and it started budding out like crazy. My half dead rose bush is now producing leaves from the naked canes. Not only good for vegetables.
So you're telling me that a 12 GAGE copper wire in a coil can grow a half dead rose bush?
You put a copper rod into the plant or the soil?
Thank you Wanda, Danny and Chris. Good experiment.
Electroculture is a go. Good comparison.

Logical discussion.

Wanda what an awesome taste test you created. I love it. ❤. Danny and Chris are great.
Great job , Mr danny & Chris .
Lol - Great switcher roooo Mrs Wanda...🙏🙏🙏🙏
Good morning. All the tomatoes are gorgeous. My mouth is watering. Great job Mrs Wanda. I’m sold on electro culture.
That's awesome!! I can't wait for my tomatoes to ripen, I did a few diy "curlies" in all my raised beds after seeing your video and Pinballs. So far, the plants where I placed them have grown well. Thank you!

Thanks Ms Wanda ... I'm sold 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Fun taste test. Never heard of fried corn. Will have to give it a try sometime

Beautiful fresh summer meal
Thanks for this experiment👍🏾
Great way to test !!!
Great idea and video. Thank you.
Great test Mrs. Wanda.
Great experiment n honest results
The tomatoes looks so good. I am sure they all taste great. Better then any store bought tomatoe.

Fun! Blessings, julie
Thanks for this! As I am experimenting with this myself with electroculture
I use this know thanks to you guys it works awesome wish I could send pictures
Good experiment! Can't wait till my maters are ready.
nice well thought out review

Those are some gorgeous tomatoes.
That was fun. Ya for the Mickey coils cause that's what I have.

This was a very good test. I grow tomatoes from seed. I do get tasty fruit. I am going to get some copper pipe and stick them in my garden.
Thanks Ms Wanda for such a fun video.
That was very fun & informative!
I'm going to try this next year on a couple of things.
YUM! Great test.Thank you. God Bless and stay safe.
That plate at the end made me hungry. Looks good
Wow did that lunch look delicious!!!!!
Good test. Thanks
Cool video!! How fun!

Great! I sm finding that my Sweet millions are😅 keeping on producing, in pots, with the rods added that I won on your show! Very pleased.
… you should do an acidic test on them with test strips …

Now that’s how you get a honest opinion. 😉 You done that Mrs. Wanda!!
💜😊💜
Very good test, I liked that
Good morning DSH! Like the test. Stay safe up there and keep on growing🤠
This was great guys 👍
Electroculture for the WIN!🕺🏻⚡🌿
Great experiment. I'm sure even the tomato that came in 3rd place taste superior to the store bought ones. The food looks delicious also.
I enjoyed this video
hi danny, wanda and chris 🤗
great taste test. seems like electroculture is something to look into if a gardener has never tried it. tfs
That was cool! Interesting. I hope you do another one with a different veggie. 👍 Thanks guys. 😊❤🙏
I picked the the middle tomato that looked the best.
Danny I used DuMOR alfalfa pellets now my tomato , corn, pepper, collards, are not looking good…..
Pumpkins and beans don’t look bad.

Alfalfa is now GMO and has roundup used on it.
@@DeepSouthHomestead o nooooooo! so is my garden probably doomed? everything is still growing and fruiting, we stopped eating the toms tho.
@@DeepSouthHomestead i really appreciate the reply!!!! God bless ya
The tomato plants would have to be identical clones.
Celebrities are our favorite ❤
Great taste testers
Love it
Love the taste testing and the food looks so so delicious
I love this, honest taste test!
Danny and Wanda, We love you both! Keep preaching brother! Would love to meet you one day. (preferably before Heaven) LOL
Wow.. interesting!
very nice good one wanda.
Great video guys
Interesting video with the tomatoes, but the highlight of the show was the picture of the plate of
delicious looking food...Ms.Wanda, it is killing me looking at that plate full of goodness.😊😊😊
Good job I enjoy it👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
Great taste test! 👍
Overall good test thank you Wanda
Beautiful tomatoes! I’m going to move my Mickey rods from my sweet potato’s to my tomatoe bed !🍅🍅🍅
Way2go mrs. Wanda😂😂 what a great test taste test you gave them!! Good morning Deep South hope you have a blessed and safe day❤️🌻🌻🥳🥳🙏💕🙏🙏
निताइ Nitāi
Aww so cool 1 day old . Will be seen decades from now like right now we see videos from
2009. Grateful 🎉 thank you
For an acre or more farms, how can one use electro culture to cover a wide area without using one for each plant?
Now I'm convinced all those coil spirals are important, likely must be included in the system for best results. (*Plz remind us what Danny's unit looked like ?) ...
Points on Mystery🍅Tomatoes is puzzling. Oxheart has a similar shape, but maybe a Paste cross? EC must bring out recessive traits since greenhouse plant didn't do that. --🍒
Too funny, awesome experiment though!
Where do you guys get your canning jars?
most we have had for many years. We bought several each year until we got the amount of jars we needed.
That was an awesome surprise for them 😂
Since I tore down a building with wiring in it I made a bunch of them, so far I see no difference whatsoever, here in north central Ohio
Interesting........
Wow now I am hungry, just seeing all that food d delicious 😊
Well your experiment has inspired me to try electroculture. And the boys were getn it since 4:00am! Great job everyone. Love ya’s!
Im going to do a taste test of my greenhouse grown 100% ORGANIC tomato vs a store bought tomato
