Hi sir, ur videos and WhatsApp help was greatly appreciated… One small request from my side, please do your reviews in English ? Because such a valuable information we unable to understand sometimes due language. So please do in English…
Charging will take time as it was 30KW charger. It will be fast if 60 or 80 Kw charge is going to be used. Please create video with 60/80 kw charging test. Will be helpful.
Also sir for your viewers and your next video You can use BPCL e drive and BPCL IONAGE app that's according to my knowledge has the lowest per kwh rate in India after ChargeZone For BPCL fast chargers it's 14+18% gst For ChargeZone it's 15 +18% gst I wish Tata Power reduces the cost to atleast 15 that would make High trips cheaper
There are much lower fares as well , Chargemod , go ec etc.. In some regions. But yes as national wise and state wise the Infra and costs are actually varies even in the same app
hi Nick, can u pls confirm whats the motor output of your empowered plus 45 nexon according to the physical user manual? it shows 106kw in my manual whereas it should have been 110kw. Even in my insurance document it shows 105 .. something looks fishy. please help here
hey Nick its MCB( Miniature Circuit Breaker) not MCP. Technically they should use MCCB,but local electrician do not use it and it’s a fire hazard.( though can’t tell from the video what they have used here)
I traveled almost 1400 Km from Pune to Kanpur on 24th October..i did continuous fast charge..although i haven't faced any issue but just wanted to know your views, what can i do now to improve my car battery health??
your battery health is perfect, nothing to worry about. That 3 fast and 1 slow charge is just an advisory. Don’t worry about that, everything will be all right as long as you give it one slow charge to balance the cell. if your battery health is all-ready degraded or cells are highly unbalanced then you should always use ac charge.
Once your trip is done, you should do AC charging at either 7kw or 3kw, whichever suits you. This performs an equalization charge and you are good to go

EV charging station counts are increasing for sure. If the charging time gets reduced which the newly launched EVs are capable, then one can save lot of time. Even otherwise EV cars are for those who wants to reduce their fuel bill, can keep the car for next 12 to 15 years without any major service issue. If some one is very particular about time and a car enthusiast who wants to have a peppy drive, don't have the patience to wait at the charging stations then it's strictly not suitable for them. In a nutshell EV car is a totally different ball game.
charge it as per your need. charging to 100% doesn’t affect the state of health on lifepo4 cell, in-fact grade A cell can be abused for a long time without affecting the health of the cell. These cell that are used in EVs will die because of calendar age not because of charge cycle or charge state. so use your car just like any other car, just keep in mind that the source of energy for your car is different and nothing else. Enjoy your ev!!!❤
In LFP batteries charging up to 100% doesn't affect provided you allow some time for charge balancing and do slow charging after every 4-5 dc fast charging cycles
Nick ji a small correction tata power doesn't charge according to 15 mins its a per KW 21 rs that they charge 15 mins price is an estimate not an actual figure So let's say you used 25 kw on your nexon ev when you pay in actual rs it will be 21+18% gst that would be 619.5 rs not 1050 sir
Sir don't count charges on the basis of per hour.its highly misleading. calculate per kW/unit only. And one more thing please convey this observation to tata motors that their ev changes are very high ie 21 for slow charging & 24 for fast charging per unit. Because on one hand they are trying to boost EVs charging highest for EVs charge. Thanks

Nick, should we always charge to 100 or charge to only 80 percent
I prefer charging to max 90% on DC fast charge. This time was an exception as it was free..
@@EVolution-Nick what about on slow charging 7.2 kwh?
charge it as per your need.
