The Season 7 team was such a random mash up of dancers.
And it worked

they actually won the most times in s7 (mayve 7b idk) , so it worked pretty well
Evil Regal that’s cause Abby purposely put the mini’s in to put them in the junior division cause she didn’t think the older girls would be able to win in the teen/senior division

4:40 Abby has a great point, as professional dancers (or actors) the girls will have to learn to work with many many diffrent people , even if they are younger then them.
Nia absolutely slayed whatever they put her in, Abby couldn’t recognize she had a diamond in her.

It wasn’t all the mini’s that messed up it was mostly maesi yet the moms still keep blaming ALL the mini’s
The mothers do that because they can see the little ones are so much better than their daugthers
The moms just need to be tolerant and get their kids to do the same. In a show you can't pick your cast members. The kids have the wrong attitude complaining about it because it will never work if they are so negative. Yes teaching the dances will take longer but the kids have to learn to be tolerant. What Kalani and Kendall said, as well as the mothers of the older kids in the rehearsal was really rude. But on the flipside Yolande can't expect her kid to have a main part when she's dancing with kids double her age.
it’s also the heights. like payton had to leave the team because she was too tall same with ava and there’s 2 minis that are standing there awkwardly it looks a bit off but the minis do look good in some dances

Ugh Kendall trying to say that the Mini’s didn’t fit it bothered me so much. What happened to all the girls supporting each other. I liked how Kalani and Nia didn’t blame it on the Minis. They were just saying how they felt that THEY could’ve done better

The minis were good and they did well, Maesi was the one who couldn't reach the line in rehearsal and Brynn and Camryn were the ones who knocked into each other, also in this season Kendall messed up and literally forgot the dance more than once so she and Jill aren't really in a position to criticise the minis for not fitting in

For once I agree with Abby. If you’re going to be a professional dancer, you’re going to work with people you don’t like or get on with but you still make it work. Because that’s being professional. You’re not going to dance with the same team for the rest of your life and you can’t complain when one minor thing is changed.

Honestly, the OG moms were kind of rude to the Minis, just because they're younger & smaller doesn't mean they can't be just as good Lilliana & Elliana are amazing dancers & I think they were just fine in the groups
movie princess i think their issue was they were so used to the team they had and they all looked good next to each other but now that this group had girls all different heights it could look awkward at times but Elliana and Lilliana are amazing I just don’t think they looked good with them, they for sure can dance as good as them but the height differences are distracting sometimes

And I see why they don’t want to dance with the minis. There are SO many reasons actually. For one, like Jill said, they are completely different sizes and don’t really look good altogether. Two, they are dancing with little girls who are SOOO behind compared to them. And the list goes on. These older girls deserve more then this... they put in their time and earned more respect then this
But at the same time I can see what Abby’s vision is. It’s just frustrating for the older girls and you can’t blame them 🤷🏻♀️
