This many years later, and I still feel like the doctor that allowed this to happen should be in prison. This story turned out great, thank God. Multiples are dangerous, just 2 are dangerous, 8 is just stupid ignorant. The doctor involved should've had his license pulled for making such a risky move. This kind of stuff is disgustingly unethical, and should be against the law. She's done a great job of staying above the water!

Not "I have a patient here named Nadya Suleman. She’s 30 years old and was admitted last night. She’s on the 4th floor, etc.".

I remember when she was in the media during, and after her pregnancy. She got so much hate for having eight babies, when she already had other children. I worried that she would get severe PTSD. But she pulled through. She isn't a alcoholic, drug user, abusive or other. She deserves a pat on the back.

Those octuplets are really a miracle. She made it pretty far in her pregnancy and they seem pretty healthy. Her stress levels must be insane. I can't imagine having 14 kids with 8 of them being newborns and two or three of the older kids being toddlers.

Mrs Maddox hey if I had to take care of 8 newborns, two kids in their terrible twos, an autistic toddler son, and three older kids under the 10yo I would be very coo coo too. How does she not have constant migraines? She has definitely been judged harshly which is crazy considering all of the reality tv shows, money, homes, and gifts that many parents of quints and sextuplets who were born after the octuplets have been given throughout the years. Most of them have said that they had to get loans for fertility treatments and couldn't really afford the babies they were having.I do understand some of the reasons behind the backlash, but I feel that these companies and media have been very hypocritical. Part of it I feel is because she was a single parent getting govt assistance. Many companies and network had refused to gift her anything, but would give a tv show and gifts to exploit a married couple in the same situation.

Oh by the way, we helped pay for her IVF via a work comp payment of over $130k! So since that's gone along with her inheritance, we're (taxpayers) footing the bill for ALL 14 kids, nannies, utilities, food, housing, transportation, Medicaid, etc. Hell she she gets more benefits than veterans and retired elderly folks. So unless you're a multimillionaire, this affects your way of life when you decide to retire. Social security benefits run out in 2034.

Octomom, and her FOURTEEN KIDS live off of hand outs and government benefits. If you already have one or even three kids and fall on hard times, by all means, collect food stamps, and medicaid. However you don't go getting knocked up with 8 more kids, when you and the six you already have are living on the dole!

I feel very sorry for her, she really was persecuted. I don’t know many people who could keep their chest lifted and do as she has, mothering all those children. She seems genuine, I am glad she feels some happiness (she could easily has chosen an easier path or a far uglier one)
