Hello again! We have at least one more Hollis Flea market vid, maybe two more. And we also go to Todd Farm Flea market in Rowley, Mass. We will miss Hollis though.

We still have Rowley Mass, where we have also done some videos. But yes, too bad about Hollis. I wonder where all those venders will be going now?🤔
I love the little Winchester cap gun. I'm crazy about anything Winchester!!! I have a couple old 30.30's. One from the 40's and one from the 30's. You guys scored some nice bottles, too!!!! Yay!!!!
Probably one of our best flea market hauls! We're going to miss that place.
I love tiny, toy guns (cap guns, and even a tiny metal and rubber Cracker Jack water pistol in my collection!) Couldn't pass this one up for only $5.00! 😁
Great finds at the final flea market, sad as so many cool things to see. Score on the marbles, cap gun and bottles that were not in your collection. The cornflower bottle Drew held up. I have never seen the seam run across the bottom of a bottle. Thanks for taking us along.👍👏😀
Hi There! 👋😃 Yes, we are sorry to see that flea market close, but we have a couple others... We went last week, to the Todd Farm flea market in Rowley Mass. The video will be up soon! And we will be checking out a new (for us) flea market in the near future. (Still waiting for the rivers to go down!) The blue bottle with the seam across the bottom is older than the others (different kind of mold). Occasionally, some pontiled bottles will have a seam across the bottom. Glad you enjoyed the video!

Hi Cynthia! Yes, we will miss the Hollis Flea, but we still have Rowley, MA., and a couple others. (Not that we need ANY more stuff!🙄) We still have a couple more Hollis vids in the vault, which I will get to editing sometime. Those (2nd batch) marbles are the best I've ever bought! But the first batch was 😝. I only bought them for the few nice shooters in the bag. I have a collection of picnic flasks.. the basket weave was a nice addition. Wade figures.. I sometimes accidentally buy a duplicate, but since I have the Wade Noah's Ark, it's ok to have two of a kind! 😁💖
That is such a nice hobby! But, people have so much stuff!! Must take forever to set up. I participate in garage sales/craft fairs and its a lot of work! Nice video! Cheers from PA! Larisa
Hi Larisa! 👋😃 Yes, we definitely have too much stuff 😬. We set up at this flea market once. We set up at outdoor bottle shows... It IS a lot of work, and bottles are fragile! I used to do some craft shows too, years ago, but the cost for the tables got to be too much. You spend all day trying to make the $ back for the table! Well, we have a couple more flea market vids from Hollis (not edited yet) and more from Rowley Mass. At least we still have Rowley, and we still have our outdoor bottle shows coming up too. (Of course we would rather be in the river... Too much rain ☔🙄) -Cathy 💖
@massriverpickers Sorry the rain is keeping you from your hobby. I however, will take as much as we can get...less garden watering for me 😆 the rivers are high though and we've had flood warnings in certain areas. Looking forward to future vids! Take care!

Thank you. Yes, we will miss this flea, but we still have a few others. It remains to be seen, where the displaced dealers will go now. Possibly Brookline NH. And we also have Rowley Mass. But Hollis was the best for bottles. Thanks for watching and commenting. 👋😃😎👍

Hi Cathy and Drew, great video! What a shame this market is closing 😟 Listening to the chatter in the background is fun,.... 'Let me separate you from the 5 or 6 dollars you have' 😂 You got some lovely bottles, I like the 'basket weave' flask and the quirky little ink. The marbles are stunning! What a bargain they turned out to be! I remember the Wade figures, my Mum collected them back in the 70s and I always loved looking at them (I wonder where they ended up 🤔) Hope you are both well 😁💖x
Hi Amanda, We are well, and hoping to get out on Sunday. We are still getting bouts of heavy rain and high winds.. no river in our near future. 😦 Glad you enjoyed the flea market! Not sure people understood my video description... this is a newly released video (although filmed last season). Anyway, what a day that was for finds!! Best marbles I ever bought! While watching the vid together tonight, Drew mentioned he accidentally SOLD my bottle I said I liked so much!! 😡 Sigh... I wanted that bottle! I wondered where it was?? 🤔 (And he expects me to get up and cook brunch today?? 😄) I started collecting the Wade figures about twenty years ago, when they were putting them in the Red Rose tea boxes. Now, when I see them $1 each, I buy them. I have the Wade Noah's Ark, so it's ok if I end up with two of the same animal. 🤣💖

@@amandabell8827 At least!! He did comment also that I spent $100 on marbles. He said " think of all the food we could have eaten" (Drew's other favorite pastime🍔). I said yes, but then the food is gone... but I still have the marbles! 😁 Drew said, "ok, we won't eat for a week then" 🙄. (In jest of course 😄) Hope all is well with you also! 💖🙏

Hello Cathy & Drew. Awesome video and finds. Lew and I have watched these videos before and enjoyed watching all of them. Oh yes, so very sad this flea market will never open again and they sold the land to the land development people. So many low prices on bottles there .Lew and I always liked the good low prices and deals at this flea market. The Londonderry Flea market in New Hampshire might get some of these sellers , or maybe even the Salem NH flea market will have them there to. We just have to wait and see. We hope to go to them soon after we get a good vehicle and they open. The Todd Farm in Rowley MA included. 🙂We hope to met you guys some day again and wish good health and luck to the both of you. We may try Brookline NH flea, but early buyers pay $20 to get in! (According to their internet site). And yes, Todd Farm, before the dealers start packing up @ 10 am. Plus it is an hour away. Oh well. Glad you enjoyed the video. This was one of our best hauls! -Cathy & Drew 👋😃😎👍

Phony baloney !!! Yes !! My younger brother and I got it for Christmas in the mid 70s and I remember we got in a fight over it !! we were very competitive- he still is I gave that up - too exhausting ! 😅
Even though this was from last year, and you didn’t know that I collected beer cans, you held up a very cool old Utica club cone -top! I got very excited..
Too bad they’re not having this bottle show anymore … do you ever go to flea markets? I love flea markets. Perhaps you might consider videoing a Massachusetts flea market sometime.

This actually was a flea market. Perhaps our concentrated efforts to seek out bottles make it appear to be a bottle show. Lol I do try to show other things that may interest our viewers though.
I know when I filmed some of these vids, I did hold up the beer cans for YOU. But I don't usually see many cone-tops at the flea, unfortunately. Mostly newer.
Oh, and in answer to your email question "Do we get recognized?" Yes! We enjoy meeting our viewers! We have been recognized in Mass, NH, CT, and RI.
Still, we are not exactly household names yet. Lol 😄😎👍

Just the first whiskey type bottles ($30 ea) only the price tag was shown on one. We are telling as we go along, whole rest of the video.

Oh, ok., Thank you! I guess the "much better" part had me confused. (It doesn't take much Lol) But actually, I did fail to mention the first few that Drew bought in this one. (just had a sticker showing on one). It is best if we tell the price while recording, cuz sometimes , honestly, we can't remember what we paid, later. (especially with sooo many purchases!) Hi Sandra, Yes, New England has been great for antiquing for many years. The Hollis Flea was around for 60 years! And some of the so called flea markets now are selling a lot of "new" merchandise. Even the "antique" shops are often overwhelmed with crafty, stinky, potpourri / candle stuff. 😝 One shop, I actually asked the lady "Do you have anything old?" She just looked at me, confused and said "old?". Sigh... We will miss the Hollis Flea Market.
