Thanks for the feedback! If used incorrectly, it can. For example, applying it in direct sunlight and letting it dry on the surface would lead to issues. When you use it a lot properly, you will gain confidence and comfort using it when these situations arise. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the demo. I have this product for months now but haven't used it yet lol. Maybe I can use it on the car itself panel by panel. But I will start on the front chrome bumper on my Tahoe.
You’re welcome! If your chrome is stained or dull from minerals and buildup, this method can really bring back its shine quickly. Have fun, and thanks for watching!
@ Bar Keepers Friend can remove water spots, and I suppose its an option, but it’s primarily an abrasive cleaner for things like stainless steel and glass cookware, and it lacks the lubrication found in detailing products. While it might work in a pinch, it can be harsh and potentially cause scratches on your car’s glass if not used carefully. For tough water spots, I recommend a wheel acid, which, although not designed for glass, is much more effective at breaking down mineral deposits without damaging the surface.

Very good coverage of the ways to work those spots away. Hope to meet you at MTE 2025!
Thank you for the feedback! I’m really glad you enjoyed the video. Unfortunately, I won’t be at the MTE, my 4 kids keep me pretty busy these days.
Great tips! I always heard wheel acid would etch glass

Absolutely you can, same process 👍
I have plenty of the McGuire's wheel brightener and didn't want to buy wire wheel cleaner right now.
Do you trust the wheel brightener on glass?
Yes that will work perfectly 👍
@highlandsautodetailing thanks for responding.
Do you trust the Barkeepers Friend cleanser on windshield water spots?
I like to ask professionals what I see DIYers doing.
