In my experience, I haven't spent a single dime on HSR. I've been playing since March 2024. I havent summoned on any banner until Firefly and Ruan Mei. I got lucky and got one copy each for 20K jades. Only fully built 4 F2P characters. I couldn't clear MoC then. It was an investment issue but I am very casual. I only care about story + characters. So I thought, idc about endgame/meta I will pull for characters I want. When I saved for Kafka and Swan rerun (57,000 jades for both + 1 sig) I already had my account stacked. Keeping in mind that I pulled for fun, I still couldn't clear MoC. No doubt in my mind, that this is no longer an investment issue. My firefly can clear moc 12 in 3 cycles but my kafka team doesnt do enough damage and ends up dying. My relics are good but not godly. Heck, even with godly relics I aint doing nuthin. This doesn't bother me though. If you think this is a skill issue on my part, you are wrong. Remember, I saved 57 K jades I could have EASILY pulled for meta over fun and cleared MoC if I truly wanted to. I am not bad at the game and Ive grinded hours of my resources through story/missions. I was aware of what I was doing. That being said, as of October 2024, I only play 1 hour a day maybe a few events here and there but mostly dailies. The amount of resources I get is VERY scarce now. I can't imagine how f2p casuals must feel. Especially older f2p players with even less resource. One absolute fact, is that you require a SIGNIFICANT amount of time investment to have fun. I am doing dailies bc and wont pull on a single banner until fate collab. After that I am done with this game. I APOLOGIZE FOR THE YAPPING HOLYY
When I realised my E2 S5 Robin and e2 feixiao, E6 S2 Acheron wasn't having a problem with the content it was then i realised.....I WAS THE ONE WITH A PROBLEM. Currently quitting putting IRL monies in
I think it's okay if story doesn't get overwhelming, Aventurine and Sunday were major blocks for some people, but it felt honest still and still feels honest in story mode, MOC 12 is a DPS check this cycle for sure, it's extremely obvious skill has been triumphed by digit advantage
Why would you be done after spending so much time and energy on it? This isn't even a "sunk cost fallacy" thing, it's just common sense. If you've made it this far for the sake of fun, you've no reason to stop playin'. I've played FEH since Day 1, way back in 2017, and I still play it out of loyalty, even the powercrepes makes this game look like a joke.
It's not even about powercreep. Hoyo's become too lazy with game new modes and content that they decided to just develop and release these "powerful" or "must have" characters so players keep playing and paying..
Just saying, those who are lucky enough, trive in this environment, and people like me, who have 1/9 wins on 50/50 (i am not kidding btw) are faced for the first time with immovable object. (i always managed to 3star everything, until now)
This is why I dislike the "skill issue" nonsense that people throw around. I have personally been very lucky and I'm 100% aware of the fact that this luck has carried me through the game so far. It has nothing to do with skill. Get lucky or pay up. That's all there is to it.

Yep that would be a big downside for a day 1 f2p player who invested any jades into 1.x limited units. I started at acheron's release and only have her limited LC. Built up 3 budget meta teams (ach, ff and fx) and been able to handle everything comfortably so far but i agree moc 11 was noticeably tougher.
New f2p player here! I started on the FF patch and it wasn’t until recently I came back and started grinding more (about 4 months ago). I’ve been consistently reaching end game max clearing MOC11 and struggling to 3 star 12. This patch though? I legit can’t clear 11 at all lol. I didn’t get lucky enough to get RM. but my RRAT team legit takes 7-8 cycles. I have no sigs, no eidolons and it’s like.. welp.. I guess I’ll pray to get better relic substats idk lol 🤷♂️

I only try grinded the game extensively 2 times to get jades - 1. Penacony story for boothill(lost) 2. SU-SD & SU-GnG for aventurine(won). So, as a casual I'm feeling a boat load of pressure that a particualr unit which I failed/lost cud help me in that particular case.
This is the most realistic rant ever. Some CC and players are normalizing the E2s1 harmony then proving to the casuals they have skill issue that even 4stars can 3star moc12.
I feel like teams need their best units to clear content and running and alternate unit insteads is almost griefing and takes and extra 2+ cycles to clear otherwise
Sadly being casual is not enough for endgame you need good builds, you need the supports like Ruan Mei, Robin, Jiaoqiu to run meta teams. People keep saying there are no "must pull" characters but if you don't want to have to get sweaty or vertically invest into characters to make up for it than yes there very much is. saying otherwise is misleading players for no reason imo. When I first started seriously playing the game in 2.0 the endgame wasn't half as hard as it was now for my first MOC 12 clear I used Acheron, Black Swan, Pela and Gepard first half with E0 Ratio, E0 Guinaifen, E6 Tingyun and E3 Gallagher with very cope builds those teams are now subpar. People using those 4 star only clears with E6S5 4 stars with top tier builds as a gotcha moment, but that is high investment sweaty account that many players will not have. Its easier to pull 5 star with sig lightcone than even getting S1 DDD much less S5. Even the streamers that do 4 star only runs have started using 1 5 star or something every now and than because their E6S5 4 stars are still not enough to scrape by in endgame which is crazy. 99% of players are not more sweaty than them if that is not a sign the powercreep is getting out of hand I don't know what is.
I feel that without robin or acheron last couple moc I've had to try hard to get 10 cycles star an 11-12 . this time I'm struggling to get 20 cycles on 11-12
Day one player. 😕Yep definitely felt the difficulty spike or more like dps check imo. I cleared previous moc 11 & 12 within 5 to 6 cycles but this one took me 8 to 9 cycles to 3☆ it.
@ninjaraccoon9914 At the rate Hp inflation goes, nope it ain't fine for f2p or even low spenders. The lack of 4☆ alternative units is one of the issues since the endgames favors premium units and archetypes more.
Started playing when Black Swan came out and in 6-7 months I was able to clear MoC12 3* with Acheron and Dr Ratio. Now, I cant even beat MoC11 with 2*(did MoC12 with 2*). I should maybe pull for some new DPS but Im waiting for Aglaea
The best 4 stars for f2 p players to invest in, besides supports like Gallagher and Tingyun, are really Moze and March 7 Hunter. The others...? Idk. I don't think I'd recommend them. Misha is good at E6 with heavy investment, but he's really hard to play.
Even though i cleared Apocalyptic Shadow for 3 stars, it took me a few tries and actually having to read what the bosses do, likei just let autoplay fail me for the first 2 times and then realizing that the monkey squad can be manipulated which was barely enough
My goal is to clear the content and get the rewards, idc about how fast I clear, I just want to clear and want to know what I need, how strong do I have to be, honest question
Are we taking for granted this is end game content supposed to be difficult and perhaps a playground for whales to have fun? There isnt much to do in this game other than re-running the same end levels for weeks. Casuals likely dont repeat the content at all once they have the rewards. I appreciate everything in the game don't get me wrong. Just doesn't make much sense to allow me to bash bosses all day but I can only get a limited amount of levelling materials for a character per day so that i barely have enough by the time the next character rolls through. It's extremely frustrating. Id prefer if the Jades were a one time collection but after you could choose what materials to get after repeat clears. I've been playing for about 8 months since Hanabi came out, I didn't fully start caring about the Forgotten Hall until around the time Slinsha came out (a little prior to that), but I went from struggling stage 5-6 to at least coming to close to beating stage 12 with all stars, the Michael Jacksonblazer/Cutiefly/Ruan Mei Super Break stuff carry you in a lot of stuff, but this last one I barely cleared stage 11. I don't think casuals even care much about this mode to begin with, so chances are, you're asking the wrong people. Only "serious" players care about it, like Genshin players with The Abyss.

Endgames recently feel like character checks. You think they'r asking for vertical investment but I think they'r actually going full out horizontal investment. It doesn't matter if you have eidelons on a unit, if that unit can't utilise the mechanics of the boss then you'll struggle.
I agree to you but if you play the game casually what do you REALLY miss if you get only 1 or 2 stars in moc 11-12? So what? The material reward for 3 stars ist unproportinal higher then what you need to invest to achieve the same. Simply ignore 10-12 from a 3 stars point of view
def not a skill issue but build your characters man, they need good and even aim for godlike relics esp if you're F2P. I am enjoying HSR more bec it's gotten really challenging. Not to brag but unlike before where Im wondering why people pull for eidolons since game was easy. this is coming from a casual F2p player btw. just farm good relics. HSR will force you to replace your entire team from patch 3.0 onward. That is the direction this game is going. Every single patch cycle will make everything before that obsolete on purpose. HSR is a straight up scam.
Yes there is a ton of power creep i agree on that point. But "super casuals" are not meant to beat the HARDEST CONTENT in a game, regardless of what kind of power creep problem it has. MoC 11/12 is not content targeted for "Casual/f2p" with mid builds. Thats like complaining that casual players can't clear a mythic raid in WoW, well yeah, no shit. It's *End Of Game Content.* Yes, MoC should be balanced from a dev/technical standpoint, but this is not casual/easy content, stop confusing the two. This is content for sweaty mofos who constantly tweak and upgrade their characters nearly every day, it SHOULD be tuned to cater towards that type of player.
End game in a gacha game is not meant for just sweaty players maybe for 0 cycles but all content in a mobile gacha game is supposed to be Beatable for all players that have reached the endgame with average to above average builds, it has been that way until around 2.3 until we started seeing a major shift in this. The super sweats shit on getting more than a 2 cycle clear the are aiming for 0 cycles.
@@2CANTCME While the hp is a concern your character builds could use a lot of work. I mean your Acheron has 28% CR for example. Numerous characters need to have more speed so they can take more actions. If you put in mid effort, you'll end up with mid results.
@TOTGodofWar acheron is missing 3 Relics but I build my characters and test them like an average player would play the game, the issue is the inflation and power creep has gotten to a point where you have to spend much more time farming now which is not appealing to a casual audience
@2CANTCME Who is the average player exactly? If these individuals can only play like 3 times a week and are f2p on top of that they should not worry about getting all stars with the end game modes. It's pretty unreasonable. Everything is going to require time investment and understanding what needs to be done if people are interested in having full success.
@@TOTGodofWar its not unreasonable though i am a casual player and have an account that i only login to 2 times a week and have always been able to max clear content until recently, you cant say its unreasonable when the whole point of the game is meant to be cleared by a casual audience. im not saying it there is no time investment to reach the endgame either. im saying with how the endgame is currently being pushed it is making you have to invest more time and in some cases money into the game to get the neich character you need to clear the content
Yes, e6s5 new teams auto clearing while those struggling to use just an year old unit isn't definitely an indication of something of what the game is trying to do
@@ABC-yj6cyi agree on this. I did not 0 cycle or anything. I did it in 5 cycles which is fine for me. but nonetheless i did not struggle at all. It still feels easy
*Sips my smoothie, casually 0 cycling the MoC everyone is struggling with.* If you want the game to be easier, start skipping units you don't really need to get vital dupes and signature light cones. It makes a massive difference in performance. You do not have to play this game as a collector if you value gameplay power more. If you are playing as a collector, then you may need to struggle a bit more in end game content if you can't fully utilize that horizonal investment to deal with tougher bosses. There is always a trade off.
@@Satyr42 Nah, that's in your head; I'm likely older than you. I'm seeing people struggle as a result of choices they made, and conveying a potential solution by simply not being a victim via pulling in a way that lets you deal with difficulty easier. Herd mentality is a scientific fact of the human condition, and to get out of it you often need help to consider other possibilities. The 'only pull for characters, never dupes or signature' strategy has serious faults and it's being felt by people struggling to simply clear MoC currently. MoC 11/12 is not content targeted for "Casual/f2p" with mid builds. Thats like complaining that casual players can't clear a mythic raid in WoW, well yeah, no shit. It's *End Of Game Content.*
Yes, MoC should be balanced from a dev/technical standpoint, but this is not casual/easy content, stop confusing the two.
It's weird clicking on one video complaining about power creep, then clicking on another and watching them 0 cycle clear it on auto.
Which means only one thing, those who complain have SKILL ISSUE
@@ABC-yj6cy don't think so
Yes, e6s5 new teams auto clearing while those struggling to use just an year old unit isn't definitely an indication of something of what the game is trying to do
@@ABC-yj6cyi agree on this.
This condescending attitude that you display here. Is this a zoomer thing? Or is this an "Elden Ring was my first Souls-like normie" thing?
@@Satyr42 Nah, that's in your head; I'm likely older than you. I'm seeing people struggle as a result of choices they made, and conveying a potential solution by simply not being a victim via pulling in a way that lets you deal with difficulty easier. Herd mentality is a scientific fact of the human condition, and to get out of it you often need help to consider other possibilities. The 'only pull for characters, never dupes or signature' strategy has serious faults and it's being felt by people struggling to simply clear MoC currently. Other F2P players whom I know of who instead vertically invest in key things at the expense of pulling less characters are able to clear all the end game content without too much struggle. It's something these people ought to be aware of, that there is in truth another way.
9:34 “super casual player that plays an hour a day” has absolutely no problem with MOC11. you keep saying that it’s impossible for new players. and?
