I saw her at the Royal Albert Hall in London last month and she was amazing. Seeing her again in Manchester in October. She's is like a Viking Fairy!!!
Guy whitey corngood you are my hero, especially for all your Eivor requests, I wonder how many times you've already seen Eivor live. Unbelievable how bloody talented that woman is. And guys you have to see her live, she will enchant you, just with her mere presents. Promis, shes one of those people you cant take your eyes and ears off 😂. I had the pleasure to see her two times and this fall im gonna see her the third time.
Guy Whitey Corngood is a legend. Eivor is magnificent. Nobody can use reverb on a mic like Eivor, she is the master of the mic. Her pitch is perfect, her ear is amazing. She is a walking masterpiece.
I met RIVOR in Manchester, I also asked her - How many Languages do you actually speak? - She answered that we Nordic/Scandinavian people speak many of them... in Latvia (my native) she even sung Latvian folk song with no accent, just have no idea how to send this video link to you...
If you two want to see her live you are welcome to come over here to Sweden in October. She’s performing in a smaller venue in Goteberg and you’re welcome to stay in our guesthouse and go with us ( if there’s tickets left) We just saw her with the Danish National Symphony Orchestra & Choir performance Games-X, it was stunning, they had about 10 minutes of standing ovation. Let me know and I’ll check on tickets😎
Great guy is your Guy Whitey Corngood😂. Congratulations to 400 (what?), would be happy to see EIVOR Live in Europe or even in Faroese Islands together with Guy WH and some of my friends? 🤘 I am not that heavy metalhead but, I think, Dream Theater, Rush would be representative of my musical taste🤟🙃 Regarding this beautiful song performed in " I Luftini" - one of the best!!!
For me this is the song... if we would have to make contact with life in space, this would be the song to send up. It would soften every soul and bring peace. Absolutely gorgeous song.
@@poolhallshark when you are an old fart one day, you can lean back in your rocking chair, and say to yourself: "ja, ja, back in the days sóley always told me that eivor was number one, the one, and the only one. and she was right. what a fool i have been all the time."
Just to mention, the choir sings in Faroese and is from the Faroe Islands. No one else speaks and sings in Faroese apart from the Faroese. So when you hear others singing in the same Faroese language as Eivør sings, they are Faroese. And to get one thing straight, Icelandic is not the oldest Viking language. The Faroese Viking language is 200 years older than the Icelandic language. Iceland is more on people's lists than the Faroe Islands because the Faroe Islands do not have bets on tourism as Iceland has and thus Iceland is more advertising informed than the Faroe Islands. Therefore, the myth is constructed as if Icelandic is the oldest Nordic/Viking language, but it is not. Faroese is 200 years older and well preserved because the islands are so isolated in the Atlantic that there was no impact. Apart from that, it was a very flattering reaction to our Faroese Eivør.
Eivor is AMAZING! I must see her live at least once soon!

Eivor is from another planet, no way she's human like the rest of us.
Just two class versions of an excellent song .gold spinning.
