Sketchiest Snorkel in Kona

Michelle and went to the property where The wedding took place to visit with Jill & John, Family and friends of the Bride and Groom. The water front Property had a small private beach in its backyard. We brought swimsuits and snorkeling gear. Most people were just lounging in the shallow water, I brought my free diving gear so I really want to swim out past the rocks that sheltered the beach from the swells of the ocean. I used my drone to scout out a path to swim in-between and over the rocks. It wasn't as impossible as it seamed but the swim was definitely sketchy. I timed my strokes to get the waves to pull me out past the rock. Once out past the breaks I swam around for a little bit with my GoPro. There was definitely more to see in the sheltered shallow water than out in the deeps.

That was a private beach? It sure looked like Kahalu'u Beach Park. Not a lot of fish, but some pretty reef fishes. Glad you had fun. It' been a long time since we've been over there. So it was fun snorkling with you. Mahalo from Oakland CA
This is my favorite vid, because I watched you from the shore performing this entire dive. Its the first time I'd had the opportunity to watch you dive, and you blew me away....you were out past that breakwater in a matter of minutes....truly like a fish, and then went WAY out from shore! Then made your way back like was nothing. Absolutely awesome! 💙😁
