Totally awesome ... I was wondering I remember you mentioning Klook on one of your videos... do you have referall/discount code for them?
My country's government actually gave a negative advice about downloading the Temu app, because your data is severely at risk. The app does not only want access to your contacts, camera and wifi, but also requests permission to record audio and install software on its own. As companies like Temu are subject to Chinese law, the Chinese government can ask Temu to hand over all of the data they have collected about you, without you being able to do anything about it. For people who are working in government or in highly competitive business, it is advisable to not install the app.
I worry more about my own government spying on me than the Chinese (if you are not an American, this may not apply). If someone is worried though, you can order on the website--you don't have sto install the app.
Are you from the US?
@accenttunebyellie No, I'm from a country in Europe.
Yes I won't use them either and I live in the US really bad info on them
I love it when people are concerned about protecting their personal data rights.
It's just sad that most of the people only care when it concerns a Chinese company since they can in no way use them as part of social credit against Westerners.
On the other hand, the same concerned people are less vigilant with their personal data when it concerns American companies like for example YT, and all the others, while these companies are actively working in collusion with our Western governments to use our personal data against us
I suppose you refused as you should during c-19 the QR code which gave all our "philanthropic" governments, non elected WHO, and companies like YT access to your personal medical data?
Me and wife have binge watched all your videos up to the present, good clear videos ( hi def) and sound and your voice makes for very entertaining viewing, its refreshing to see just a normal person and her day life out in Japan thank you 🙂👍
Thanks so much. I really appreciate your comment. It encourages me to keep going ❤️😃
I love your videos, they're so calm and full with interesting new experiences. Hope your wrist is alright ❤
Glad you like them! My wrist is almost back to normal. So embarrassing 😬😅
From a middle-aged woman to another. Lady, you are AMAZING!!!
Awwww, that's very kind of you to say!
I’m 49 year old male, from upstate NY. And I think you are the coolest person, I think you know you’re good peeps… Ty for the content, I can’t stop watching and I’m not ashamed, it’s interesting and different
Thank you so much for the kind words!
I can’t get over how brave you are. All the things you are trying out are so much fun to watch; I’m living vicariously through your adventures. Keep up the good work, but be careful! I hope your wrist gets better soon.
Just a suggestion, from back when I was in the scouts, you don't want the zippers meeting at the bottom cuz that allows bugs and critters to get into your tent (or in your case changing tent).
That's a great tip! I didn’t know that. Thank you ❤️😃
@@ChaniJapan you're more than welcome!
I just discovered your content ! Im hooked! You’re such an inspiration. ❤
Yay! Thank you!
❤ I've stumbled upon your YT channel today, and so chuffed I have. I love your videos. I'm hooked already😅 Hope your wrist heals well. Thank you for not only sharing your experiences, but also some insights into the reality of life in Japan as newcomer. X
Hi Chani, Really loving your content! My mom also lives in Wakayama and your videos give me ideas on what to do and where to go next time I visit 😊
Wakayama has so many great places to explore. I'm glad you're getting some ideas.❤️
LUCKY you!!!!
love your videos, especially the way you integrate your cat into daily life. She is so beautiful.
I love camping content! Can u do more please?
Yes! I want to try going to the snow but I’ll need to change my tyres.
Love your camping gear! ⚙️🏕️⛺️✌️👍🏻
Thanks 👍
wow i wonder if camping is different in japan to other places. i have never seen camping as a community activity (unless it’s your own group) like this with a shop/cafe and events. like the bubble show and the bamboo rice cooker demonstration. and showers! very cool!
We would hang out in BAKERY
Love love love this video❤❤❤All are favourites: fire pit, changing room, toilet!!
Hi Chani, How cool your camping trips.
Rice cooking in the bamboo looks awesome.
And the bubbles at night time is even cooler.
I'll say my favorite is bubbles at night.
Thanks, Chani and Millie.
Thank you for watching! 😊
yes they were beautiful. i was thinking how there would never be an event like that with kids in california with all the lit candles. amazing how none of the Japanese kids burned themselves or started a fire.
Chani, thank you for taking us camping!! I love the lights and the sweet potato! Praying your wrist heals quickly.❤
Thanks! The wrist is doing better. 🙏
Hope your wrist was nothing serious, be safe, Chani. 🙏 Millie is still adorable.🥰
It’s almost back to normal. I was soooooo embarrassed. 😅
@ChaniJapan I bet it was embarrassing, but you know what? Major props for not editing it out, huge hugs for the guts it took to keep it in and be upfront about it all.👍👍👍🇦🇺❤️
@@ChaniJapan guess i've fallen too many times to be embarrassed anymore😄😄😄i don't even jump up and pretend its not bad either. if it hurts i just lay there a while.
Oh Chani, the scope of topics you cover in your videos is truly unique and it's what keeps me coming back, and Miss Millie ofcourse 😻
I'm so happy to see you out in your kei van camping after the accident and repairs.
Such a beautiful festival too, thanks for sharing ❤
Much love from Perth 💜🇭🇲
Thank you for the love from Perth! 😊
Hi Chani! Enjoying your videos. Dont worry, all will be well. There seems to be great interest in the camping and RV areas in Japan. I really do hope to see more videos of the camping and RV areas, please. Anyways, Keep doing what you doing and smile and live more. Cheers love ❤❤❤
Millie is so gorgeous and I love your videos 🥰
Very kind of you ❤️ Thank you 😃
Being in the UK where everybody seems to have become very edgy I loved seeing the happy atmosphere on that camp site.
I’m not keen on kids but in Japan they still seem to have some respect for elders and handle themselves in a polite manner.
You were so brave to cross that bridge !
I could be convinced to go camping in the cold if I had some of your equipment 😄 And if I could take my cat!
My husband and I found your videos a few days ago and we can’t stop watching!! Lol. Awesome content. Can’t wait to see what else you get up to!! Hope you have a lovely holiday this December
Love this video, I hope you are doing fine Chani... greetings from Costa Rica
Ooooh, Millie has her winter coat! So fluffy :)
It's nice to see how good you became with your camping gear, doing it all with steady sure hand. Cool.
Bamboo rice looks gorgeous.
She's so fluffy now! ❤️
Coming back to the camping experience... it was wonderful to see the camping activities. The bamboo rice was amazing. And I am happy that you're being approached and slowly building personal community. i believe your genuineness transcends culture. And having Millie around doesn't hurt either😊❤. Be Blessed!
Truly love seeing the camping experience. The mesh platform for the fire was interesting but smart to avoid fires and damage to the campgrounds. The pop up tents and toilets are things I haven’t seen before. Camping seems very different there. Where I live, it’s more backpacking style camping and can’t bring such items with you. You have to carry it all on your back to the site. So it’s fun to see a different approach. ❤
Your camping setup with the lights and the firepit looks super-cozy!
Thanks for bringing us along
Thanks for watching!
Its getting hotter by the day in Brissie.. waiting for winter to come..solo camping in Japan looks so much fun and safe..i hope your wrist is fine now. ♥️♥️♥️
I was more a shein girl but will try Temu. 😊👍 ❤️ And yes that bag is cute and that little both where u put the toilet could also be used if u do a sponge bath🛀
Ohh looks like another great video! Excited to watch it, thank you.
Thanks so much ❤️❤️❤️
What a great day❤from Arizona,USA
How enchanting were the night bubbles?! And those overalls look fabulous on you. Love following your adventures and seeing you forge your new life in stunning Japan. Please give mischievous Minnie extra pats from a fan in Oz 🌻✨️
Thank you so much! 🇦🇺😽 Miss Millie loves the outdoors.
That road shop is amazing! Breakfast looks good. Love you videos and seeing Millie out and about.
So peaceful life in japan countryside , I’m glad you are living your dream life and showing us the real life of a foreigner in rural Japan . ❤
The countryside is very peaceful in Japan. 👋
Hope you are ok Chani. I was thinking perhaps you can get some sides for your awning to make it a room in cooler weather. Or a car tent for the back. Just a thought of how ti get a bit more space. Another suggestion is a fireproof mat for under the fire pit to collect the ash and prevent an accidental grass fire 😊. Safety first. Milly looked much happier in her new outdoor space. The bubbles would have mesmerised me as well.
I will add a fire mat to it next time. I actually have one but didn’t think of it. Good idea.
I’ve been watching your stuff for a while now and it’s nice following along I like you just being you. I enjoy camping myself and I even have a micro camper I made myself here in Aus, I really enjoyed this episode, and look forward to watching more camping shopping and adventure trips when the weather warms up!
Oh my .. that looked like such a fun stay ( without the injury) …
My introduction to Japanese sweet potato was back on an extremely cold winters day in 1990. We came upon a sweet potato seller with the huge wood fried stove.
That was so very very tasty as we were cold and famished. We look for at least one snack every time we are over there..
Your potato looked amazing, I can almost taste it🤣🤪
Cheers💕
It is the best way to eat sweet potato - cooked over a fire! 😋
Please be careful with Temu there is alot of issues with a high level of lead, so please be careful
Thank you for your fun video! Wishing you a speedy recovery after the wrist injury. Warm hugs from me and Ginger cat Bennett 😻😻😻
Thanks and hugs back to your kitties 😽😽
Besides your cute fluffy cat, I liked the portable campfire! I didn't know there was such a thing! Oh and the carabiner magnets.
@@afterbirth5733 Those magnets were really handy 😽❤️
Great idea for changing clothes. Good for showering as well
New to your channel……your incredible parents just put me onto you! ❤ looking forward to watching more 😊
Welcome!! Yes I have the best parents ❤️ I’m very lucky
Love the cat pen! Never seen one here in the UK. Such a brilliant idea. Hey kitty kitty, what a lucky girl you are. PS: loving your blogs and binge watching to catch up! ❤
Thanks so much! 😊
Lovely video thanks for sharing 🥰👍
Cat litter works good in those toilets too!😻
Really cool gadgets. Congratulations on your adventures. Love your videos and Miss Milly.😍
Beautiful camping place. I like the most the Stand Up Tent and the portable toilet. And the toilet paper holder. I’m so happy for you. Thanks for the video. ❤
Incredible treat
Really enjoyed this camping video, well all your videos !
Glad you enjoyed it🏕️
I love those thick slab wood tables and the big tree in the middle of that restaurant. Very cool!
I know, right? Such a nice spot! They really made it feel a bit rustic and charming ❤️
Hi Chani, loved your video, as usual! I have been fascinated by Japan for many years and at the moment I can't travel there and who knows if I will ever get the opportunity to do so. Your videos are a glimpse into a world unknown to me. I find they always put a smile on my face and I love to live the Japan adventure through your expeiences. Plus we are the same age, so I can almost put myself in your shoes and I can see myself doing something similar in the future. Take care.
Aww we are the same age 😃I’m really glad to connect❤️
I’m not much of a camper maybe more glamper …but you make me want to give it a go. My favorite item is that sweet potato 🍠 and foil. Nothing comforts a stumble and bruised ego like a hot sweet potato.
Gorgeous festival!!!
Barbara O'Neill's book and first aid advice. Be well. Those large bubbles were so pretty. So interesting. The mesh grid for cooking is such an interesting idea.
I like to take tortillas camping. A breakfast wrap-- deli ham slices with egg & grated cheese....lunch wrap with deli ham & turkey with havarti slices. Easy to eat. I have plastic food baskets with paper liners for easy clean up.
The Temu cat playpen/tent was awesome!
Millie did like a bit more space 😽
I loved the overalls ❤
Odaijini😊 We enjoyed the video very much ❤thanks for sharing your adventure ❤️🎉
Glad you enjoyed it ❤️
We were talking about your videos and we realised your videos are like story book! That's why its so calming, fun and happy 😊 You are so talented 💝
Thank you for the video. I enjoyed watching it and was also mesmerized by the bubbles. I hope that your wrist is fully recovered. All of the products look great!
The bubbles were so much fun! 😊
i don't know why i got proposed your channel but its inspiring. Thank you
So nice of you. I’m really glad you are here 😃
What a magical camping spot.
The magnet clips are a great idea.
Hope your wrist is 🆗
Thanks, it’s much better! ❤️
Thanks for another wonderful glimpse of life in Wakayama. I felt like I was right there!
Glad to hear that!
Happy to see another video, always look forward to them. However, please don't promote Temu. Temu is ruining local economies, does so much harm to the environment and to human rights. Not saying this to be mean or anything❤, just a bit worried and sad about the whole "Temu hype".
It's my dream to go camping like that with friends but in France it's not really a thing apart during summer near the beach. I wanna just go in the nature and do barbecue hahaha And chatting
Such a nice idea. Chatting with friend around the fire is great !
I love your overalls and the waterfall lights.
@@leaper2294 thanks ❤️
Oh those bubbles 🩵
🫧It looked really pretty at night
@@ChaniJapan I couldn't find a bubble emoticon lol

A must have a privacy tent
I loved the changeroom/dunny stall so cool and practical
So useful! I agree 😃
Gosh I hope you are ok. That did not sound great ❤❤. I might be biased but I loved Millie’s new pen. That gives her better viewing in a safe environment - you are the best cat mum ever 👍
@@carolynthompson6518 awww thanks so much. I really love taking her out and about. I know she loves it too 😽❤️
Wow, that is an amazing campsite! I love the magnetic clips, I'll be getting some of those. The solar lights are brighter than I thought they would be. The stand-up firepit is a great idea. Love your videos!
Comprehensive camping equip
Nice nice ...nice ...enjoying watching ...how I wish I turn back my ⏰️ 😅
Time goes so fast, doesn’t it!
Looks like so much fun. With all the great events happening, I imagine you must have booked your camping reservation very early. Congratulations--I see your channel has really grown!
Actually it was a last minute booking. This is actually a road station where you can free camp. I was able to book a space up on the area they were doing the bamboo. I didn’t know about the events until the manager told me. I got really lucky 😃❤️
I love love loved this video. My favorite pick out of your Temu list was the portable fire pit! I'd probably secure it with rocks, but it's very cool in areas where fire pits are prohibited.
The Bubble Festival looked so amazing!
Hope your wrist is feeling better. Cat & Camper are adorable!
I think the fire pit is my new fav as well ❤️🔥
Hi, Chani! Another great video ❤ Loved the waterfall lights, magnetic clips, and all your new fashion choices 😊 but my favorite part was the Millie close-up at the end 😻😸 Oh, and the bubbles...and the bamboo rice...and the... 😉 Lol I guess I loved all the parts 😁🤗❤️ (except the part about your wrist 😢...glad it's doing better by now ❤) xoxo Robin
@@WhyAmIHereRK 👋hi Robin. Thanks for the kind message ❤️
Wow thank you so much for showing us you trip. My favourite parts was firstly the friendliness of the other campers and second those solar camping lights.
So true! The people I met were super friendly 😃
I like that awning.
Thanks. It’s actually from Australia. I got it delivered by a visiting relative 😃🇦🇺
We'll have to start calling you Inspector Gadget. Those bubbles looked awesome. Bet it was better in real life though.
I feel a bit like Inspector gadget 🤣🤣🤣It definitely was a good bubble show 😊
壁を使ったクリスマスツリーのアイデアは凄いと感じました!猫ちゃんには興味津々。飛びつきたくなりますよね!
The waterfall lights looked so pretty! ✨️ I bought a light up 'birch tree' off a similar app to Temu this year for our Christmas as it changes colour and reminds us of the blue light up zelkova trees in Tokyo that we witnessed last December 💙 The bubbles looked amazing but must have been very slippery ground!
Yes. I think the slippery ground is the reason I fell down 😬
That looked like an excellent camping trip. Really enjoyed watching while I had my breakfast. I hope the wrist heals well. X
Thanks so much❤️
I'm really enjoying watching your adventures. It's lovely to see a genuine everyday experience of Japan. I wanted to go there to live when I was in my twenties as I studied Akijutsu and planned to train there. This was 1984 and opportunities here in the UK were very limited at the time. But then I had a serious road accident which left me unable to continue my training so I had to give up that dream but I'm still very interested in the culture. I'm also still a camper although it's quite difficult with my disability but I enjoy it andam planning to take my new dog with me next summer. ❤
@@lawli56 you have a new dog 🐶❤️
@@ChaniJapan Yes, he's two. I lost both my cats very suddenly, one to cancer (17) and the other (12) to a sudden severe liver problem just a few months apart. After saying I'd like to get dog when I was ready my brother introduced me to Pablo and I fell in love with him. I'm 68 so he definitely keeps me busy and he's an absolute joy to have around. ❤
That looked amazing and fun (except hurting your wrist, hope that heals up nicely.)
My favorite items would be the privacy tent and portable tiolet. Very practical game changers which enables you to camp anywhere.
Thanks ❤️👋
Thank you for another entertaining and informative post. I found the elevated fire pit really interesting. I noticed that you’d made a wind protector for your cooking station. I had one that folded and it was very useful.
I think a wind protector is a must-have for camping. It makes a big difference for cooking!
I have one of those pop up change tents but I don't really use it very often because holy heck it is difficult to pack back into the bag!
I figured out a system with these pop up things. Because I have similar items I use at school. The trick is to fold and twist at the same time. Always works.
Temu is always hit and miss for me with their products. But I am very impressed at the stuff you got for camping. And all the activities they have for everyone is great.
This road station was one of the best I’ve stayed at. Great spot 🏕️
Looks like you've had lots of fun on your camping trip. I really enjoy your videos, it makes my day listening & watching them weekly, especially on a tiring Friday evening after work. Millie's cute as always, lots of hugs & kisses from me to her. You can see she's so happy to be by your side.~
As for your wrist, I hope you're alright and it's nothing too serious. Take good care of yourself. Bug hugs to you as well!
@@evymonflan4247 thanks so much 😃 my wrist is nearly better now ❤️
that fire pit was surprising! hope your wrist heals fast Chani! best from nz
The fire pit was a total find! 🔥
Chani, your last video really blew up! Congrats!
It sure did. Such a surprise. Just going about my day, then 🔥 suddenly everyone likes winter hacks.
That campsite looks great and having that cafe there is so nice. One thing that you might consider is using kitty litter instead of the coagulant, I know some van campers that use that without even having a cat, but it might be a benefit for both you and Millie. Looks like you've got the awning setup down really well!
@@jamesbarantor7094 good idea. I didn’t think about that.
@@jamesbarantor7094 good idea to use the kitty litter. I didn’t think about that.
When you first showed that fire pit , I thought it was a chair you were putting together and misspoke. But its cool to see come together and work. Ive not ever seen a firepit like that.
I was surprised when I saw it. It’s a great idea.
The fire pit looks resolutional❤
It’s the best 🔥
Really enjoyed this video, hope your wrist is feeling better. Give Millie a big cuddle 🥰
Thank you, I will ❤️
Hope your wrist is better out of all the products you bought ilike your changing tent the most followed by your fire pit. I ❤ your videos, keep it coming
Thank you! The tent and fire pit are favourites of mine too.
from what i have seen. when it comes to asian sizes its a good idea to size up a size or two. my friend had to do that she found a nice hoodie for her boyfriend and did size up but it was still too small. i had to use google when i was looking for shoes cause im american so we use different sizes like size 8 compared to like 50cm or something like that
I have two favorites, the lantern and the magnetic clips.
@@bonniemillerart1814 they were both so useful. Really practical for camping 🏕️
That was a super cool video, not what I expected from a camping video. The lights bubbles the food truck. I think I would enjoy this type of camping. What an eye opener. Sorry, I'm not a fan of Temu to hit or miss for me, and if something is not in your package, you're just out of luck
