    ang point ni ninong, yung yougurt is like a starter culture.
    bibili ka ng 10ml na yogurt + 1 liter na gatas to produce 1 liter of yogurt
    malaking yield yun

    Gumagawa ako ng homemade yogurt, creme cheese, butter, ricotta ( for lasagna) at mascarpone cheese. Milk at Whipping creme and lemon lang makakagawa ka ng homemade na fairy products plus patience po hahaha

    Been making my own yogurt these past months. Nilalagay ko lang din yung cooled-down milk sa inactive oven, pero immersed in a bit of hot water. 4 hours okay na sya, though yung first tries ko without the hot water, nag-set din naman pero mga 6 hours ang antayan.
    Minsan nasa starter din yung problem from what I've read. I used Farmer's Union, and masipag parin yung culture ko hanggang ngayon. Nasobrahan pa ata at nasanay na sa process ko kasi mas sour and thick na yung yield ko recently almost like greek, kesa dun sa first few ferments ko which were a bit runnier.

    In fact noon pa ako gumagawa ng yogurt pero madalas palpak, I mean di lumalapot pero umaasim. Minsan lang yata ako nakagawa ng perfect nyan thru that hacking pero di sya pwede gawing starter culture for another batch sadyang mahina na ang yogurt.
    Every factor na nakakaapekto isinaalang alang ko pero isa ito sa hirap akong iachieve with perfection. Pero edible pa rin. Di sumakit tyan ko at buhay pa ko after many months 🤣
    Natry ko na rin wild lactobacilli mula sa tangkay ng mga sili. Medyo naachieve ang yogurt consistency at tanginess after almost a day pero off putting yung lasa ng flavors ng macerated na tangkay ng sili 🤢

    Ninong Ry, pwede ka gumamit ng green chili stalks o green chili mismo. Lemon will do also, both have the certain bacteria to create yogurt starter.

    Ninong Ry, ang Yakult po eh always chilled. Refrigerated truck po ang ginagamit sa pagdeliver nito. Di po siya pwede sa room temp. God bless po

    Very Informative. Salamat ninong for all these videos. I also rewatch your earliest videos where you simply cook and showing the steps on how to cook those good dishes. I like the camera angle where you shoot directly to the pan where you cook and put all the ingredients. Rewatching those videos inspired me to cook those dishes and i really find it understandable and instructional. Its fun to watch the long format videos where you cook and explain things in a fun way, but sometimes , i hope to see more of your short instructional videos of different dishes for easy quick referencing in cooking. By the way, i remade your Calderata, and everyone loves it. Thanks for the recipe.

    Nasubukan ko na yung yakult.. 2 yakult + 1L of warmed fresh milk. Incubated for 24H at room temperature in sterilized bottle. Pwedeng diretso na sa karton yung yakult. Ok siya! Napadami ko yung yakult.

    I tried making my own yogurt po, at least 24 hrs ang cultivation depending on the temp of the environment. Normally, thye advise to use dutch oven/pot.

    Ninong Ry, you can actually make decent yogurt with Yakult - pero kailangan Yakult talaga. And you have to keep it there for a few days. Nagawa namin dati for our biology class sa la salle

    Actually ninong, pwede gumawa ng yogurt galing sa yakult. Pero ibang strain kasi ng Lactobacillus ang nasa yakult compared sa ibang generic yogurts. Lactobacillus casei yung nasa yakult, while sa mga generic yogurt ay Lactobacillus bulgaricus and Streptococcus thermophilus.
    Nakagawa na ako ng yogurt using yakult as starter culture pero hindi ko alam kung anong difference sa lasa between different brands. Lasang yogurt naman yung nagawa ko hahahahahahah.

    Kuya ry once may napanood ako sa tv home shopping na yoghurt maker . Nilalagay sa isang container yung product na similar sa yakult and milk tapos yung container na yun bago ipasok sa isa pang container they pour hot water then cover it.

    Ang Dutchmill Delight Ninong Ry required na malamig yun pag binebenta so makakakuha ka ng lactobacillus dun for sure, and mas mabilis magduplicate and lactobacillus ng Delight bc of its prebiotic + probiotic.

    ninong ry, may sinubukan po ako sa restaurant na pinagtatrabahoan ko gumawa po ako nang yogurt starter po gamit po yung whole milk na naka pasteurize po tsaka sliced of lemon po, medyo matagal po yung pag set pero try niyo po effective.
