Yes. I am old enough to remember my little brother watching Buck Rogers. Poor dad would be at work, or sitting on his chair to watch Buck Rogers, but usually out like a light within 15 minutes. An AF veteran, he worked a few very physically demanding jobs usually 12 hour shifts that would rotate from day shift to night shift, As an adult who worked about 3 years on graves, and occasionally pulling a double if the overnight person didn't show, or didn't call till just before her shift, I can't understand how he worked that shift all those years. 4 days, 4 off. 4 Graves, 4 off, always 13 hours, with a one hour lunch. And he was incredibly strong from the work he did all day and night. Jobds he hated but paid well and had insurance for me, and my genetic short straws and expensive hospital stays. I don't know how he did it. I no longer hold grudges for Dukes of Hazzard, A-Team. Or, Walker, Texas Ranger. Oh, and bionic man and woman. I just retreated to my room and read a LOT of books. Flash Gordon and Buck Rogers were not my on thing. I what I could share with my dad was an appreciation that grew into love for martial art movies. I appreciate Bruce 😊 Lee and Jackie Chan, and I geek out about Jet Li. He's amazing. It broadened my perspective on later years had turned me into this book/movie snob, and forgot that most people still go to the movies to have fun, not a word of connect with some of the art house stuff back in the late 80's. Anyway pay my bed time. Rambling.
This is probably the clip you were alluding too before it’s substantial editing (preliminary guess) before distributing to the theaters: ua-cam.com/video/pAadQv-AL0Q/v-deo.html

Saw this movie when I was a kid and I loved it. Princess Ardala and Wilma Deering became my Role Models that day.
Gil Gerard is just so damn likeable.
Love this ski fi
“And what if our Captain Rogers is not a spy?”
“THEN HE WILL BURN.”
Henry Silva’s “Killer” Kane sells the hell out of that line.
Too bad they replaced him with Michael Ansara in the Series. Not that he was a bad actor, But I definitely preferred Silva in the role.
@@queenglamazona8789Totally agree.
Thought it was going too be the original trailer that I remember seeing at my local cinema in June 1979

Hard to believe this Buck Rogers Pilot got a Theatrical Release. Shows how Popular the Science Fiction Genre was at that time.
Ahh so Duck Dogers is the parody lmao
Duck Dodgers was a Parody of the 1940's Buck Rogers. That's why the had Teleportation Beams in the Cartoon, Which they didn't on the Show.
