Excellent! thanks for putting this up. I recently saw that episode and was loving that Space Rockers tune! Never thought I'd hear it anywhere else. By the way, for fans of the show, there's a great novella by Andrew C. Gaska that picks up where the first season left off (sorry fans of season 2) and captures the characters and everything else about the show perfectly in a new adventure that brings back a lot of the characters you loved. You can find it on amazon. Highly recommended!
Awesome video. I really take huge inspiration from this track and the show. Great stuff; it feeds my late 70s nostalgia and makes me a kid again over here in Kawasaki.
Glad you enjoyed the video. You sound like you're as big a Buck Rogers fan as I am. Nice to make your acquaintance. Thanks for tuning in I appreciate the support.
I wonder if one those working on GTA:SA was a kid and fan of Buck Roggers and decided to pick this tune years later not complaining I really appreciate being a Sci-fan who previous played GTA:SA back in the day
Damn! I didn't remember how Buck Rodgers was so full of satin clad sex in the 70's. My childhood memories are forever changed. Maybe, that was why I wanted to watch the show because it would be accompanied with a funny but pleasant feeling down in my plaid polyester trousers...DISCO!
This was momentarily, one of the best shows of the late 1970's... then... they changed it in the 2nd season?! WHY!? I'm glad I wasn't even alive until 1983. FOR SHAME, NBC!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great video but that part at the very end when Buck said fuckin to that other guy how did that ever get passed the censored on network television all the way back then ? Now aways I can see it but back then no way !
Also I probably saw the episode before myself but not for really really long time so I forgot but did Buck and this guy ever actually fight it out brutal punches so forth so on ? Sounds really hot I just love to see two good looking guys beating the crap out of each other.
@@jamessargent9981 Yes. They had a fight but they're on the same side so it was kind of a bro-mance. They're forced to work together and by the end of the episode they become friends.
Funny, I remember seeing reruns of this back in the 90's, and thinking this was an incredibly tacky disco thing. But hearing it now, it doesn't sound nearly as bad. Unfortunately, I still think Jerry Orbach was completely miscast as the evil band manager, though.
I remember jamming out to this while driving around on GTA San Andreas in San Fierro a few times. Good stuff.
Been looking for this song for ages, AWESOME!!!!!!!!!
Man this soundtrack by Johnny Harris is the absolute Bomb Baby!
Now I remember why I liked this show!!! Ardala and Wilma
No contest Ardalla and Wilma both beauties to behold

You know what? As much crud that gets thrown at cheesy disco, this is actually a fun jam. for posting the whole thing!
👍
Nicely done. Great compilation of clips for this tune.
My entire puberty in 6 minutes.

The thing that's mindblowing is how this show demonstrated how many hot women there were in Hollywood circa 1980!

It isn't actually. But it was featured on the season one episode: Space Rockers.
"You up for a bounce, homie?"
I always imagined Buck Rogers took place in the same "disco future" as the 70s Legion of Super-Heroes comics.
Please! Someone let me know where I can download this song!!
Wonder if happy mondays took inspiration for their song tart tart from this
.... Jerry Orbach, R.I.P.
Until reading your comment, I didn't know that Jerry Orbach was deceased. I wasn't surprised, though.

@@MADABOUTSUPERHEROES so what your saying is you edited that dialogue into the video yourself ?

@@jamessargent9981 No. I did not. The audio is not edited. The clip is from the original show. I just had to put it in because it was such a fun clip.

judy landers and markie post were hot.green spandex and red spandex.
If your definition for this compilation isn't excellent, there's something wrong with your Funk & Wagnalls.
Holy shit.
The age old question: Wilma or Ardala?
.... Princess Ardala, hands down.... and she was always ready, too ! ! !
Wilma all the way. Ardala has space herpes.

Uh, Tim O'Connor ain't dead.
That's right; Tim O'Connor still lives. I just looked him up in both Wikipedia and the IMDb; and he is still alive (and aged 90).
He has since been dead. Died in May 2015 age 91.
Wilma was at her hottest wearing that purple evening dress
Gta San Andreas
Season 1 was where it was at! Season 2... awful.
