WHAT IS HAPPENING? Hey all, I'm currently working on my next video and also moving house. While waiting for my next video, I've created a new Instagram account for my fans to post completed dioramas you've created (Conditions apply). You can check out the latest activity via: instagram.com/bouldercreekrailroad/ See you soon. Cheers, Luke
Honestly this is one of my favorite comfy videos to watch. I would totally watch you just build your sets too. No need for the editing, no need for scripts, just record yourself making this stuff. I'd watch that all day long.
T M I feel the exact same way. I've RE-watched all of Luke's videos over and over and get excited when a new one is downloaded. BLOOPERS, UNEDITED BACKGROUND NO BACKGROUND....IT WOULDN'T MATTER.....ID WATCH IT
I just love it too. I hope one day to build the Simpson house as well as the house from Family Guy. It is great fun to "hide" such recognizable pieces on the layout.
Oooh! I noticed at 6:08 that those two longer beams on the right-hand side are hanging over the securing tape, and I thought "hey, I bet that makes it easier to unstick the pieces after working on them" so the thought occurred to me that on the smaller more fragile pieces could benefit from a tiny tab made of two layers of paper stuck between any delicate piece and the sticky-side-up tape; with a small tab like that, the first layer would block the adhesive, and the second layer would give you a small lever you can lift the piece. You could even make the tabs as strips going across the underside so you can lift with less torsion. You're always a source of inspiration, I'm so glad to see you're still making models, please keep up the fantastic work!
Hey all, if anyone is interested in buying a kit version of this model let me know by giving this comment a thumbs up. If there’s enough interest I’ll look into producing a limited number of kits to sell (around 20 kits) possibly more depending on if there is any demand. If you'd like to be sent an email once they are available you can fill out this form here on my website: www.bouldercreekrailroad.com/store.html
Your video quality and presentation never cease to amaze. I've literally never touched a model set up or supplies, but your videos have me captivated. Keep up the amazing work!
I remember watching this guy as a kid 😊 can't believe how much you got better your the reason I started making my models and my models or train models from Thomas and friends I can't I could not buy them at all but now I can and now I make my own for my little brother and they look better them the toy one my customers are better I'll say them the once trackmaster does
Fascinating views of laser cutting and probably the best tutorial on how to make something from this marvelous machine I have seen. Thank you for the past year of great videos, tutorials and terrific dioramas./ Merry Christmas and a Safe, Happy and Prosperous New Year.
Thanks Frank, I’m glad you’ve been enjoying the videos over the last year and I hope you continue to enjoy the videos for next year as well. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you too 😊
Season 5 Episode 1, "Homer's Barbershop Quartet" gives you a great view of the roof. There's a missing detail of the chimney structure on the right hand side of the building. The roof in that episode looks similar to the walls, but your tar-paper roof looks better as a model.
HEY LUKE!! HOPE ALL IS WELL YOUR WAY!!! CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT VIDEO!! COULD YOU DO A BUILD OF AN OLD FARMHOUSE?? EVERYTHING YOU DO ON THESE MODELS IS AWESOME!! SORRY FOR ALL CAPS, JUST CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT VIDEO!!
Thanks Phillip, that’s a very interesting idea 😉 I might have to think about doing a few kits to sell, not sure how to work around the Simpsons trademark though? I might have to call it “Joe’s” 😀
Another excellent tutorial. My only complaint is that you didn't turn off the room lights so we could see the interior lighting. Anyway, another amazing model!
Luke Towan trust me, having a CO2 on hand can be very useful. A small flame grows quickly after you lift the lid. learnt my lesson after reading about Adam Savage saying the same about laser cutters.
Merry Christmas to you too 😉 I keep meaning to do a Christmas scene, the clip of Moe’s tavern at the start of the video shows Moe wearing a Santa hat 😀
I could have watched a 3 hour video on Moe's! That was so cool! Maybe you could do more iconic scenes, Adam's Family, Munster's, Bugs Bunny! I'm hooked on your channel!!
Hi luke, can you do a video on how to get dust from a car driving down a dirt road .Have you ever tried that type of effect ?. I love watching your videos you are very talented and have gave me the inspiration to start my own diaramas 1:64th scale ..thank you hope you can help with my dust keep up the great work..

Thanks mate, glad you are enjoying the videos

Will take this on board. Keep watch of just a recording of myself.🙂

I’m have a spot on my layout for a Moe’s. But I’m going for a more real world version and less cartoon. Nice to see someone else honor the Moe
I just love it too. I hope one day to build the Simpson house as well as the house from Family Guy. It is great fun to "hide" such recognizable pieces on the layout.
A realistic version would look cool 😎 i can imagine an old grungy rundown building
Do u no da moe?

Your video quality and presentation never cease to amaze. I've literally never touched a model set up or supplies, but your videos have me captivated. Keep up the amazing work!
Thanks for the amazing compliment 😉 it’s great to know even though you don’t build models you still enjoy the videos

Fascinating views of laser cutting and probably the best tutorial on how to make something from this marvelous machine I have seen.

Merry Christmas . A great video
More things like this would be cool
I learned alot about diorama from you! Keep up the good work!
Season 5 Episode 1, "Homer's Barbershop Quartet" gives you a great view of the roof. There's a missing detail of the chimney structure on the right hand side of the building. The roof in that episode looks similar to the walls, but your tar-paper roof looks better as a model.

I love this! I would love to do this in a larger scale and add all the interior items to!
Great work. Once again
Thanks sammy 😉
awesome very well done Luke. this should be made in to a kit and sold. I would buy one!!!
Thanks Phillip, that’s a very interesting idea 😉 I might have to think about doing a few kits to sell, not sure how to work around the Simpsons trademark though? I might have to call it “Joe’s” 😀
Me too
I let you use my name, that happens to be Moe and I also worked in nuclear power plants, no kidding.

Just can’t understand why anyone would give this a thumbs down. 🤷🏼♂️
Nice fun project Luke.
Thanks Robin, I guess you can’t please everyone 😊 glad you enjoyed watching
Another excellent tutorial. My only complaint is that you didn't turn off the room lights so we could see the interior lighting.
Anyway, another amazing model!
Thanks mate, yeah I should have turned the room lights down! I’ll have to take some photos and add them to the website 😉
Nice one, once again. Happy Holidays!
Great video like always
Laser cutters are great but you never forget your first fire.
Lol... I might have to invest in a small fire extinguisher to sit next to the laser cutter 😉
Luke Towan trust me, having a CO2 on hand can be very useful. A small flame grows quickly after you lift the lid. learnt my lesson after reading about Adam Savage saying the same about laser cutters.
Fire extinguisher on hand = Smart!
Will have to purchase one then ASAP. CO2 is best then?
Don't know. Probably ABC. Ask your local fire dept for more info.
Это наверняка одно из лучшего что я видел за свою жизнь. Спасибо.
This is a great reference for me to use when I make my cockroach and mouse bar
Yesss! I love your videos amd have been craving a New one

Finnaly a video!!!
Lol yeah I really need to try and get more videos out more regularly, it can be tough sometimes juggling UA-cam and my regular day job...
Luke Towan you should show us all your models
I could have watched a 3 hour video on Moe's! That was so cool! Maybe you could do more iconic scenes, Adam's Family, Munster's, Bugs Bunny! I'm hooked on your channel!!
