- More at @Bahgawd as we count down the Top 10 Most Disappointing Wrestlemania Matches of All Time.
This should've been the 1980s dream professional wrestling match between Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan but instead it ended up with Sid Justice and Hulk Hogan...in a DQ finish.
Go back and watch Sid though. The fans were all about him. The fans wanted him to beat Hogan more than to see flair vs Hogan.
Fans were definitely into Sid - no question. Hulkamania needed a break by this time.
Just the way they did this - no one came out the better.
@@Bahgawd exactly
I CAN AGREE WITH YOU ON THIS, MAN.....SPOT ON.😮😮😮
Flair vs Hogan would have been awful. Thats why they didn’t book it. Flair was over in NWA/WCW territory, but the rest of the world wasn’t quite as familiar with him.
macho/flair vs better!
Flair vs Hogan basically saved WCW in the mid-90s so there was definetly some interest there. I think WWF miscalcualated.
Wrestlemania 38 and 39 better be on this list.
LOL YES
I can't put 38 on there with Stone Cold's return. What matches would you have? Cody vs Roman at WM 39?
Blame Vince McMahon for the decision.

How dare yall disgrace Harvey Wippleman, he was a great manager and helped the company so much behind the scenes.
Not disgracing him at all, but even Bobby Heenan was never this involved in a main event at Wrestlemania
Hulk Hogan sucked, i can't believe he was the only one to beat Andre The Giant because he really didn't have any charisma, hardly any moves, nothing at all. Even his promos sounded like he was getting out of breath.
Watch his matches in Japan. USA Hogan was all McMahon.
Outside of being the biggest wrestling star of all-time….
@@BahgawdThe only reason why he was one of the biggest names in the industry was because Vince built his name up. When Vince threw your name around, gave you main events at pay per views, built story lines to build up your career, your name and reputation got built up. If Vince didn't give into the entire Stone Cold Steve Austin character, that wouldn't have ever happened. If Vince didn't build the feud between Rock and Steve up, that legacy wouldn't have happened. Vince was never ever going to give Mark Callaway a chance, Undertaker, but a 30 minute meeting turned into 4 hours then after a few days, Undertaker was born. Then Kane after a few years then we had the Brothers of Destruction. My point is this, wrestlers got famous because of Vince and the imagination of WWE. However, their own abilities, mic skills, in ring performances, etc was on the wrestler and the only reason why Vince gave Hulk Hogan the chance, he actually admitted this during a biography, was because of his muscle depth, height, natural physique.
@@christopherkochert2946try 7 years. Kane was a later addition.
well if WWF and Vince gave Warrior new and better challengers after WM 6 Warrior could have been the man to take WWF into the new (generation) era. And stupid feds had to stop our steroid guys from shining and entertaining us fans. We had hogan for WM 1 to 6 main events. It would have been nice to have a new guy for once be the main eventer for WM from WM 6 to lets say WM 10. either way i say the Warrior era doesnt last long due to warrior, vince, steroid trial, etc. Id love at WM 7 to be Warrior (c) vs Macho King - for the wwf title where warrior still wins and still retires King Macho! WM 8 is then Flair (c) vs Warrior where warrior takes machos place since warrior never got fired or quit in aug 1991! WM 9: Warrior(c) vs Yoko - WF. Yoko shocks the world by pinning world champion Warrior!
Flair vs puke Hogan would have been 💩💩💩💩 Vince McMahon knew what he was doing period
instead of a cheap azz dq ending do a tag ending: Hogan, Taker vs Roberts, Sid. Id rather it be Hogan, Sid vs Roberts/Taker as all have a history all the way back to SummerSlum 1991! You can still have warrior come out after Taker & Sid fight each other to the back. Warrior gets revenge on Roberts!
That’s interesting. Never thought about a Tag Match main event. Outside of the first Wrestlemania, WWE has stayed away from major tag matches as a main event, because the 1v1 matches tend to be more appealing (and I tend to agree)
It was a different person 😅
Seriously, it was beyond a rumor. Just common knowledge
@@Bahgawd im joking. Its too funny
@@Black-Circlehahaha - I know! I remember friends in the 90s would think I was crazy because I said the Warrior didn’t die!
Exactly
Miz Cena worse
Yeah, this list was for disappointing matches. Never had high expectations of a Miz vs Cena match.
