I live in New York and I can tell you that no one is doing anything about the gangs or the migrant crisis. Most of my friends have moved to southern states.
Are your friends conservative voters? I would imagine that the state of New York will continue to vote blue regardless of the open border/criminal-friendly policies of the left. I don’t see any republican presidential candidate winning the state of New York as a whole, regardless of the destructive policies that are created to exacerbate the states’s own problems.
