Hi. I have kindle oasis 10th generation for about 6 months. I've charged it 5-6 times since then. I used to use it rarely. For about one month I use it 3-5 hours almost every day. I use genuine Amazon wall charger. I use it in airplane mode, lights off mostly. The battery lasts about 10 days. Is it acceptable?
My second question is it get charged till %97 not %100 even I leave it plugged in for hours. Is it acceptable?

I ordered mine (Oasis top of the line WIFI 4G LTE 32 GB) but after a deeper look. I don't know why people are going nuts for this! (IF) you have good discipline Apple Mini Ipad or Air is far better. You can adjust the color., Its faster and overall more pleasant experience. Now if Oasis was $100., I wouldn't argue. But this darn thing came out to $379,. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! lol

I do understand what you mean, and I would agree with you if only reading short amounts of writings which are so popular these days because of texting and social media, but for those of us who read a lot, e-ink type displays are immensely superior, and makes reading so much easier and painless.
The problem with with iPad and other devices is for many people such as myself, the LCD screens are hard on the eyes, as photons are always being emitted from the screen and projected directly into the eye. e-Ink devices such as this kindle don't emit light at all, and ambient light is all you see. For those of us with eye defects and prone to headaches or migraines, these e-ink screens are wonderful. High prices and slow refresh rates are my only real complaint of such e-ink e-readers, which I have several of now, and they are always lacking in at least one thing, and it seems like product developers and engineers purposefully make each and every e-ink device not be a great all in one ereader device. I really want to get am Onyx BOOX max3, but $800 is just too expensive. Perhaps if they lowered it to around $450, I would buy one instantly.

I ended up getting the Boox note2, and I absolutely love it. I don't however care much about having to agree to some Chinese based user agreements however, and that is my only thing against it at this moment. I wonder if anyone has custom software to overwrite their stuff, and not have people monitoring my reading habits?
