Remove the lower shock bolts and the axle will drop far enough to easily remove the spring. Do all of the work on the bench including attaching the air line. Then reinstall with the line going up first.
Yes, it kept things more level however I don’t know if it was the way I set my torsion bars on my camper trailer or the bags, but at times we picked up a bounce that I could not get rid of. Without the trailer and just daily driving, they are awesome!
The bag may flip around in there with the extra room. I would get different bags if you put in longer springs. Have a great weekend!! Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful.
I was on my second set of air ride shocks and second air compressor. So I installed these. Yes your air ride suspension can be repaired and you’ll be good to go. Miller Trucking is correct.

I’m in a similar situation as you. My factory rear air bags are blown. Did this work as expected and keep the truck leveled when towing?

When under pressure did the bags raise the rear end at all? Maybe 1/2”?
No there was no lift. It just send stayed level better when towing the camper

You could’ve just replaced the factory air ride suspension it looks like your bags were just blown out
Would the Air ride suspension
prevent the dragging with my 2011 Yukon or do I need this?

How is this system holding up for you?
Really good. We have had no issues with it and have done plenty of trips loaded down with gear. Actually the bags haven’t needed refilling either.
