This channel is dedicated to all the gold seeking Pickleballers out there who dink responsibly and stay out of the kitchen. We have all levels come through the channel, but we concentrate on the 4.0, 4.5 and up to 5.5 with the pros.
I started this channel quite by accident, I was recording my games to do film study and get better. I did not have time or money for lessons from pro pickleball coach, so I started watching all my screwups. People that I was playing with started to ask if they could watch too and I said sure. That helped all of us a lot to improve our game, strategy, mental toughness, and techniques. Now we have new pickleball videos published several times a week. We occasionally have pro pickleball players on the channel. Mostly its non pro pickleball players on their quest to 5.0 pickleball. We have all levels come through the channel, but we concentrate on the 4.0 pickleball, 4.5 pickleball and up to 5.5 pickleball with the pros.

The guy doing the lob was lazy, just remained back there instead of running to the kitchen line. If he did that he had a better chance to smash it from the return cause it's really hard to do a drop shot from a good lob.
I agree 100%. Couldn't tell for sure, but looked like he could have had a perfect Ernie if he had hustled up to the kitchen after hitting that lob.
A perfect lob would have been behind one of the two receivers instead of smack in the middle where it was easier to get his forehand around it. As I quarterback this from the grandstands. Good point though.
I am just learning to return lobs in a skills and drills class, this was SO impressive!!

not really smart of you :) Especially when you lose to them.
It's not about which tool in your pickleball tool belt you use, but how effective is it in a given situation. A lob used at the right time can be incredibly effective as it is the right tool for the job.
