Today i used it but i used castor oil instead of tea tree oil because i didn't have any essential oil and i feel it is amazing mask for cleaning scalp 😍
This mask really helped! How often do you use it? & do you just use regular shampoo in between mask treatments?

my god, I came to this thinking, finally someone who also can't handle going more than 2 full days without washing otherwise hair looks too oily... then you go and say 7 days. girl. if I did not wash my hair for 7 days, I would look like I bathed in olive oil.

I wash my hair every night, and by the time I’m about to wash it again, keep in mind this is 1 DAY without washing, my hair looks like I wash it with coconut oil 😫 I have fine, blonde, medium length hair in case you were wondering

So for the past month my (extremely fine) hair has been extremely greasy, I’m not sure why it started but even after shampooing I’d dry my hair and it would continue to feel gross, weighed down, and oily. Literally felt gross and unclean.
So I tried this and followed directions to a T- and also used a friends recommendation of neutrogenas anti residue shampoo for the wash out and HOLY CRAP I feel like a WHOLE NEW PERSON and I couldn’t thank you enough!!!
My hair feels feathery light, refreshed and the oil is gone.

Make sure that your shampoo and other hair products do not contain any form of dimethicone. Research it because there’s about 50 different names for it. Dimethicone is a wax that stays on your hair after washing/styling and it weighs the hair down and makes it look and feel oily. Silicone-free products are becoming more popular thank god!

Kelley S I use it every couple weeks! Like once to twice a month max! Then regularly shampoo in between. I also recommend oil training your hair, especially now during quarantine! Try keeping your hair unwashed for 4-5 days. This will tell your scalp that it is producing enough oil, and it’ll prevent over production!

I had used lemon on my head after watching haircare videos for dandruff removal. It did remove dandruf for few days but now I have a lot of white hair 😢 does ACV have any long term side effects like that?

I have to admit this is the Best DIY ever!! My hair and oily scalp are thanking me for doing it. Just 1 time I tried this and the result was amazing!! Worked wonders. I normally get greasy hair after 2 days but I’m on my third day after using this treatment so a day more is already a winner for me! And zero dandruff! Squeeky clean! Thank you chelby!
Before doing this treatment, you might want to note I practised washing my hair 2 days a week which was already improving my greasy roots. I recommend you wash your hair less for a couple of weeks before trying out any remedy. It would really benefit your hair.

Oh it was for sure the egg and apple cider vinegar that gave her all that volume, not the excessive about of shampoo, conditioner, blow drying and curlers.
Can I keep the ingredients in the spray bottle for a week and use that to do it the next week or should I empty the bottle and use new ingredients
Probably can’t keep it a week, the egg white will go bad esp mixed in acv. It might smell of death after a week 😅

Thank you so much for sharing but does Tea tree oil not dry out your scalp and a drying scalp is the reason for oily hair that’s what I thought : so if you have an oily scalp this means ur scalp needs more moisture so it’s going to produce less oily the same goes with the skin, please let me know how it’s working for you💗
I don't think you have a greasy scalp, I think it just gets dirty after 7 days of not washing it... My hair looks like that within 12hrs of washing it 😩

Just finished washing the mask off. Used peppermint oil because I couldn’t find my tea tree. First thoughts, I scalp definitely feels lighter and cleaner. I have high hopes for this!

You didn’t need the mask. You shampooed and that did the job. Why do use mask for greasy hair if you can shampoo?
