I have found my Pastor in Rick Warren. I'm 72 and know Whose I am. Thank you Pastor for reminding me.❤
7 Signs of God’s RESILIENCE and resistance to stress
1. Remember how much God loves you unconditionally and extravagantly and continuously
2. Remember who I AM - I know who I am
3. Who do you pleases? Know who you are trying to please
4. I know what God has called me to do - He lived a purpose driven life
5. Focus on what matters most
6. Spend time alone with GOD
7. Get a small group for support
Thank you so much for your note!
Thank you, Lord! I eagerly await the future you've planned for my family, trusting that they are in your hands.
Teach me to be the best I can be. Spending time alone with God is essential for a peaceful and abundant life amen !!
Amen
Thanks for this sermon. I had a bad moment of agony, feeling it physically over my body, even thinking of Jesus in the agony in the garden; in a situation of persecution, + long term being bullied over issues from my being abused as a child, (that were misinterpreted/ despite a miracle with Jesus with me/ healing); + threats to my life in every area of a human life- similar to Job, with people who don't work with me, but use a life beating harm, disrupting every step of my life effort. I've seen miracle Words, answering specific prayers, so I know Jesus is with me, even defending me against false identity lies, as He showed me to be the truth of it. I've been walking with Jesus in life threat, but can have bad moments, with threat to my home being ripped to pieces, as the latest destruction threat. This sermon took me back to Jesus & His care & promises & purposes & to focus on Him, reminded that He has shown me it is His desire I put it in His hands, & remain in His joy & peace. So thanks. I've seen proof Jesus is real & cares about our lives; God truly does love you Church. Blessings. Peace. Love wins.
Praying for my daughter's to surrender everything to God and live purpose driven life especially the principles of resilience..
Tonight I was stressed and disappointed with life. I want things my way and have something different. Still I know my God loves me! But I forget who I’m trying to please, I forget that Jesus is the way, the life, and the light…. I’m looking up now! Just one thing matters; Keeping my focus on you is the answer. Amen 🙏

I never felt loved growing up. Never a hug. Never words of love. No love at all..I looked for love never found it with people..always conditional. I can give love but can't receive it. Because I never got it. But when I found God and learned bible study I found God's love. But I still don't know how to receive it..
Thanks God❤
Amen 🙏
Thank you.
thanks!
Is there no summary sheet for this one? Please can you include the summary sheets for others? It saves time on notes!
24:50 "Even Jesus needed a small group for support". That's false. Jesus didn't need the 12 to support Him. The 12 needed Jesus to support them, and for them to support each other. Jesus could do His ministry all by Himself if He wanted to. The reason Jesus formed that small group of 12 is to train what would be the first generation of Christians who would continue His work with the Holy Spirit He equip them with. Not to support Him. If we've learned anything from the 4 gospels in the New Testament, those 12 have been anything but "supportive" to Him. They doubted 5 bread & 2 fish is more than enough to feed 5000. When Jesus took them to Gethsemane and asked them to pray, they fell asleep. Judas betrayed Him. Peter denied Him. Etc etc. They're weak and full of doubts and questions most (if not all) of the time. Which is understandable, being humans and all. But to suggest Jesus needs them to support Him is a theological fallacy. Jesus doesn't need his disciples, followers and believers to support Him. It's the other way around. Get your facts straight Rick, don't take things partially or out of (biblical) context just to support your sermon ideas. God bless 🙏🏻
