It's such a niche market that the wireless marbleman has been selling for around $200-$300 on ebay new in the box. People are HUNGRY for these type of mice!!!!

I know this video is from 3 years ago. But, I absolutely am loving the Gameball. It has been working awesome and I love the feel of it! (I mostly play FPS games)

I love and use the Logitech M570, but I hate that the switches only seem to last me 1-2 years. I have pre-ordered your new thumb trackball and hope it is an improvement
I've been using a trackball for over 15 years. It drives people nuts the first time anyone uses them, like learning to ride a bike for the first time. I prefer trackballs because the unit stays stationary and it's easier on the arm. Used Logitech for years but lately I've been using the ELECOM EX-G for the extra buttons. I'd love to try yours out sometime. For gaming, the one thing that trackballs have over mice is it's much easier to circle any opponent and keep them center focused. BTW- As a fellow gamer a bit older, have you tried playing Star Citizen?
I just started watching and heard you say F-19 and immediately had to jump into the Comments. First played my Dad's copy when I was 7 and played it on and off until I was 10. When that one review on Reddit compared the GameBall's design to a whale tail and you said your inspiration was actually a stealth jet, I KNEW it had to be inspired by all those F-19 concepts that circulated before the F-117 was publically unveiled!
When I got my first laptop as a graduation present I bought myself a Logitech thumb trackball because up until then I'd been console gaming for many years, and didn't have desk space for a traditional mouse. I beat the heck out of that thing playing EVE Online, Blacklight: Retribution, and Tribes: Ascend, after which I switched to a traditional mouse because there weren't any trackballs out there that wouldn't put me at a severe disadvantage againsy steadily improving optical mice! I was SUPER happy to discover this device two days ago and I'm looking forward to purchasing one as soon as I'm done moving!
Yup, I am old. I had a buddy who had F19 before me and I would hang out at his house all the time to play it. We also played a ton of F117A. And yes, GameBall has some stealth fighter inspiration. :-)
Can the scroll wheel touch pad be completely disabled? I feel like my finger would be resting there at times and it might mess me up. My favorite trackball and the only one I can really use is the Logitech Trackman Marble and this looks fairly similar in shape to where it might be an option for me.
We are working on a firmware update for that.
thats funny, it was the microsoft explorer and the logitech orbiter that killed my interest in track ball mice, but my first voodoo 3 machine i used a oldschool A4tech trackball and it was amazing, i wouldnt mind giving trackballs another try after a decade and a half, cant wait for this to come out.

Is the Trackball compatible with the Windows software: "X-Mouse Buttton Control"? Incl. your new curved scroll area? For example, I use vertical scrollling as time-speed "up -or- down" function.
It will use x-mouse for most things, but not the touch area. However, the touch pad has both vertical and horizontal scrolling built in.
