I love this room so much. Thank you for mentioning your height. Hubby is 6’8 and I want us to cruise as a family. Seeing you stand in the shower helps me so much. Like you said in another video, I suspect he will have to shower in the gym

I very much appreciate your videos. You have a genuine and informative demeanour. I would just like someone to mention in one of these videos that people must look at the deck plans for these beautiful rooms that you describe in your videos. For example, the Aquatheatre Suites are at the very end of the corridor, and what feelsl like miles away from the elevator. It could simply ruin a cruise having to spend so much time and energy running back and forth to your room, as one does in the course of a typical day on a ship. Let alone if you have a mobility issue or disability, but nobody ever mentions just exactly how far away from the elevator these rooms are, and how long it takes to get there. I don't think anyone who's going on a cruise also wants to sign up for a marathon run. And let's face it, for most people these rooms are not cheap, so to save up your pennies to have it ruined by having to do a 10K jog back to your room each time is just not a pleasant thought for anyone. Thank you again for all your great work!

What is Royal Genie and tell me about those magic bands on the coffee table please.
Your Royal Genie is basically a butler on crack and their only job is to surprise and delight. So they contact you months in advance to find out what types of things you like so they can surprise you with one of a kind experiences. The bands can act as your seapass cards so you don't have to have a room key, and if you need to purchase anything extra it's as simple as tapping your wrist.
If you rub those bands, a genie comes out and grants 3 wishes

where you would suggest for a more private, quieter suite. i like the view of the action, but i need more peace and quiet at night so somewhere else of that quality would be nicer.
Hi Danny, thank you for all of your interesting and informative videos. I enjoy watching them all. There was a question (or remark) about tall people such as yourself. May I ask you a question regarding people of a different size ...obese. I have never been on a cruise but it seems that doorways and corridors (for example) are narrow. Is this the case on most ships? Also, you mentioned that you recently booked this suite for a family ($6K). Is that amount for the suite, regardless of the number of occupants? What is just people wanted to book this suite? Is there a minimum number of people required for this suite before they will allow you to book it? Thanks in advance.
Thanks for watching! I appreciate your question. I think that ships in general are more constraining to people of size, but I would say the same about travel in general. There are many room/suite categories that make it a lot more comfortable. I think the newer the ship, the better in general. Reach out if you have any specific questions.
I got a quote today 3-7-24
For 26,413.80 for 8 people or 3301.72 per person for a 7 night. I didn't think 3301 is to ridiculous for that level of amenities for 8 people for 7 day works out to $471.67 per day per person and that includes 3 chefs created meals 3 times a day plus unlimited drinks, and the genie experience.
I'd love to get this suite. I've noticed the prices for the more upscale suites on all the cruiseline and I think for the money they are charging they should have Jacuzzis on the balcony. I've tried to search for crises with this amenity but it's very hard to find.
You are so right, we love the spa on the balcony. We have a list of rooms that have them, reach out and we can give you the options.
Hey i wonder if The rooms are sound proof when closed so you dont hear the show if you close the outside doors to the balcony? I know that my mother would not like the loud sounds from the outside and there for complain but i would really want to see the show but then close the doors after me! So is it sound proof?

If you’re wondering, this room costs around four grand per person.
It could be that high, but the price varies a lot depending on occupancy and time of year.
You also need to book the room like two years ahead to get it

European plugs and US plugs only, so adapters are the only way. Often times if you ask the room attendant they will have some extra ones.

I was searching for this room (2 bedroom Aqua Theater Suite) at Royal Caribbean website, and it was not available in any (7 days) cruise that I saw at Symphony of the seas. This year (2020) and the next year (2021) too.
Is it a very disputed room?
At the moment I was searching more out of curiosity, because it is a high investment. But I was surprised to see that the room was almost never available on all the dates I looked at. And I looked at MANY dates.

It is the most popular on the ship and usually sells out at least a year or two in advance. You can waitlist though.
I have some friends who went on this ship. They said to us later that they preferred smaller ships, like the Celebrity Constellation, as it is easier to get from one place to another, and is less crowded. What do you think?
I think there is a perfect fit for everyone!! Some would be bored on a smaller ship and others will be overwhelmed with a bigger ship.

What is the difference between a Royal Genie and a concierge? Don’t they do the same thing?
Not even close... The Royal Genie experience is next level. They connect with you several months ahead of time and they learn your interests so they can surprise you with special one of a kind experiences. A family we worked with had a kid that loved pirates, so their genie ordered one of those pop up pirate ships and erected it in their living room. They genuinely love to "surprise and delight" and it's one of a kind.

The bed in the master bedroom is a full king and cannot be separated. The beds in the second bedroom can be seperated.

Can i book that room for my family that consists of 10 people?
The 2BR Aqua maxes out at 10. The other options are a 4BR Villa, two adjoining 2BR Grands, or the Royal Loft with adjoining crown. Put all the kids on the Crown so that all the adults get the Star Class amenities.
