Seeing a dash removed always gives me horrific flashbacks lol. I swore I'd never take mine off again. As for the interior, I'd say keep all the roof/headliner and pilars black. That way it looks two-tone by design. Also, do you happen to have any black t-top straps for sale? Cheers.
After further thought and examination, roof will stay black! Definitely helps pull the red together and is less distracting for me😆 There is a high likelihood I have some straps somewhere. Shoot me a message in Instagram or Facebook! My @'s are in video description🙏
@06:14z32 has ALLOT of holes in the floor of the chasis in order to drain water if it were to ever become flooded. well they used a sticker on the inside of the chasis uder the carpet to pluyg these up. sadly they pop up and break the air seal allll the time allowing bugs and rotdents very easy access into the cabins. i replace those stickers on every z32 i work on that deeply, with mecanical plugs to replace the sticker covers. jus a plastic push in gromet, it clips into the hole and seals tighly. but is still easily removed if that service is ever necessary. a great example of one of these hole would be on the floor board, dirrectly under the fuel pump controller. in that area, youll see a round sticker over a round hole, and i can almost 100% guarentee, yours will be loose and pealed up on the edge.
I noticed them when stripping the vert underbody and was a lil confused why they did use stickers vs a grommet but I guess if it works it works😂 I'll definitely be checking into the plastic ones for when I reassemble very soon😁
The red on red interior looks sick. I would keep all the black accents on the roof/headliner black. once you start addding too many contrasting elements it starts to look tacky. How you have it set up right now looks clean. The only things I would maybe change would be the carpet, maybe. and the black middle piece in between the red speaker covers. Its tough to find good condition interior parts for these cars, much less in rarer colors like red. One day I'll own a red interior car, one day
Absolutely! Generally when they hit the part out stage, they're typically pretty clapped so clean interior is very hard to come by. I like the point about the roof! I kept thinking the red would look nice to break up the black, but now that you mention it, the top side of the car will have to remain black. At most I may change the side window defrost vent on the dash to black. One day!! Then we can be twinsies🔥😆
Hey, bro. Im already convinced you know your in n outs of the z32 body. Do you by chance know the exact location for the driver A-pillar drain? All I know/been told its somewhere there by the fuses.
Yes sir! Shoot me a pm on Instagram or Facebook via description and I'll happily send some photos as I have a chopped stripped z I can get you pictures of.

I love the red/black contrast, What a cool combo!
I originally seen it in 2 tone with stock charcoal/tan colors and loved it, but the red/black is too nice🔥

I have blue interior and the bits much pricier than black/charcoal/beige
Blue is just as rare as the red!
I've luckily got 2 blue dashes and some assorted blue pieces🔥
