This salesman - who is really good in my opinion - is like a walking, talking, human valium. Very soothing. In addition, this vessel is as big, perhaps bigger, than my house - and 100X nicer.
How come Calibreyachtsales doesn't have a Playlist soley dedicated to Richard Evans and his reviews of vessels whether they have sold or not. If they have sold, who cares? With Richard doing the narration and tour of the vessel, I would still watch the video and may even be tempted to talk the current owner into selling it! That is just how great of a salesperson he is!!! Thank you Mr. Evans for another bright spot in my day!
Apparently this yacht is powered by twin Cummins 450 Diamond Series diesels and at moderate RPM would have a range of 1500 NM give or take. The naval inspired design of the pilot house (note the raked forward windows) affords an unobstructed 360 degree view and the auxiliary wing stations (a very expensive and welcome touch) would make docking a breeze. As for the hull, it doesn’t get any better from a strength to weight ratio than 1/4 inch marine grade aluminum; try pricing that out at existing rates. Yes, the painstakingly crafted cherrywood interior is definitely old school but THAT is a matter of personal preference and taste; it may not be fashionable but there will always be a market (however narrow) for class and style. I expect most of the troll-like comments herein are authored by persons with absolutely no prospect of ever owning a vessel of consequence like this; the sour grapes are palpable indeed.

I like it. Pretty inside, with separate eating area. It does need a bigger window at dining area for a better outside view. I like the green furniture. Only sleeps four persons though. Good presentation. Thanks for sharing.
There is no walk-around on the main deck. That's a shame, given the beam it would not be an imposition on the accommodation. Also having what appears to be a Portuguese bridge ahead of the wheelhouse makes no sense with the extremely high bow. The boat is simply a "Mr. Potato Head" of design elements, none of which work with one another. And as usual with these ads more effort is devoted to babbling about joinery and none about the machinery spaces or other technical details which support the furniture. And yes, I've been boating since the early 60's, and owned and piloted more than a few.....
Better than any house seen last weeks, for sure...it`s meant for the urban sailor as wonderful appartment...nothing against such a "coffin" as haters commented here...if you can't afford it stay away, but dont spoil atmosphere...hope to read every time something useful in comments, but most people comment only to hide their less-like-class complex...gorgeous boat presentation...I am just starting over as Yacht chandler myself, to me such videos are great, because I train myself on the job...
Love the mill work and joinery. However, I can't help but ask. With the staterooms being as small as they are, how is it possible that, on a 72' boat, there isn't enough room for a third stateroom? Seems to me there's a great deal of wasted space somewhere on that boat.
Looks like it would take nasty weather bigger than much bigger yachts setup more for Med cruising. Very nice, just my taste. I agree with Jeff, C'mon lottery! I'd live on it as well.
Captain quarter? Crew quarters? Engine room? Generators? Water capacity? Fuel capacity? I'm not trying to be picky but to me those items are more important than inlay wood.
The living area kitchen and dining room seem like they were made by Home Depot I love the wood dark cherry in the green looks great I need to add some burgundy but again it just looks like a house. 72 feet with only sleeping for four. I do love it.
Looks to me like the perfect yacht. You sold me on it but I would've liked to seen the engine I'm curious why there's no solar but that's not a big deal that could be added later. All in all an excellent craft.
It needs a flyby wire refit. cosmetic kitchen upgrade. Refit the Teal Green leather from 1998!! Nice boat. To me this is a perfect boat to refit. The tender is worth $$ too.
If this is your first visit, this is the best sale professional. I know if a was about too drop a few millions. He is just refreshing from the red headed British guy that only sells Muslim boats.
Very, very odd listing. On the one hand... It's a beautiful vessel. I love all the fantastic wood and green leather. (A boat that looks nautical rather than like a modern Italian condo.) And a solid, 1/4' thick aluminum hull! It could hit an iceberg and win! On the other hand... A boat of that size with only 2 cabins, no fly bridge and nowhere to stow the tender on deck? And why do you offer no info on performance and not even a peak at the engine room?
Thin aluminum ... but it's a floating retirement home. A floating home for wealthy retirees that ate not serious blue water sailors. This guy's style of presentation fits selling nursing home space.
Beautiful boat but very much like a gentleman’s club inside with all the dark wood and dark furniture. Surely a man designed the interior. Very dark and old fashioned but I do appreciate the quality.
The motor boat looks very nice out side, it presents it self great, on the in side it looks like 1980' retro killer RV,- very out dated and heavy,-kind like old people retire condo.Ouch.TH
It is a second (or maybe first) home. If the engine room (does she even have one...) had some decent work space, I could live onboard this lady full time. no need for a house.
Looked like easily the worst 70 foot boat of any video I've seen. And thats before you count this guy always spends 3/4 of the time talking about wood.
We are sorry we didn’t include a tour of the engine room. If you’d like to see it, we would be more than happy to arrange a private showing for you. We understand this isn’t as easy as watching a UA-cam video, but we hope this helps! Please feel free to let us know
I get the feeling that somehow this walkthrough missed nearly an entire deck of the boat. Like everyone else, I want to see the engine room, but also whatever the hell else is down there. I've seen boats this size pack four en-suite staterooms and crew quarters for 2-4 on the lower deck. I somehow can't believe that this boat uses the 60+ feet of unseen length it has below the main deck solely for propulsion.
Only two staterooms? Yeah because are you really trying to take family and friends out with you on a long distance cruise?! Personally i find it refreshing that this ship doesnt have 4 staterooms while sacrificing commons space. You got some buddies who want to go out with you? They can sleep in the bunks and on the couch, maybe another can nap in the wheelhouse. Not all long distance trawlers need to be set up to host a family reunion.

Richard, why did we not get to see the engine room? It had to be beautiful.

I can't put my finger on it, but there's something missing from this boat. Could it be that there's not enough wood in the interior?

I was wondering about the lack of cabins a well but like he said in the beginning, the owner had it custom built so I guess that's all he wanted.
Those bullocks are great, to keep my pups safe!
Vanna White forgot to discuss the power plant and its range. I guess the emotional excess over all that wainscotting overwhelmed him.
I know nothing about boats. But quarter inch aluminium doesn’t seem very thick. Also why no look at the engine room?
