How to cook Venison Medallions on the Weber Kettle
Вставка
- Опубліковано 21 жов 2024
- In this video, I cook some venison medallions on my Weber Kettle charcoal grill. I marinated the deer meat in 1/2 balsamic vinegar and 1/2 avocado oil, and added some kosher salt and Johnny's Seasoned Pepper. I let the meat marinade for 90 minutes at room temperature but you can let it go longer if you prefer. Then I cooked it indirectly on the grill for about 30 minutes and seared it at the end.

It’s a shame this channel hasn’t grown like it should
It was for sure Annie approved. She literally wolfed it down and was looking for more. It did look good. Thank you for the video
Thanks for watching!
thanks jim!
Looks so delicious 😋
Those look like some tasty nugs! Have a great Sunday 💥
Thanks! You too!
Looks delicious. Thanks for sharing this video.
Great video 😊 I really like Venison.
And so does Annie ❤ Give her hugs for me!
Thank you, I will!
Thanks😊😅😊
Those look awesome 👍😎
Thank you!
Hope you have a great day to go with your venison! Looks good!
Thanks, you too!
Hmmm. Not bad. Did the marinade knock back the usual gamey taste of venison? I know farmed venison is more mild than wild game. Good video, I’d eat that. 👍
Thanks! Yeah, the marinade did calm it down a bit.
Looks really good Thank you got to try some !
Thank you!
I sure do wish my local grocer had venison. I’ve been lucky enough to have had it from hunter friends, also elk, moose and caribou!
I don’t think I’ve ever had elk, moose or caribou. I’ve had bison though.
@@TosTinManEasyCooking elk is definitely my favourite. Moose pot roast is great too. Caribou was tender but oddly chewy…
Jim, this your FIRST Deer meat video isn't it? Unless we missed one over the years. We definitely LOVE Deer-Meat here!! Actually prefer it over Beef. Healthier as well. Annie approved, and as usual, good post Tin-Man!! Made me hungry already, LoL
Actually, I used some ground venison and made a burger in the air fryer oven about a monoth ago. Thanks for commenting!
@@TosTinManEasyCooking ooh that's absolutely right!! Totally forgot that was Deer.
@@TosTinManEasyCooking I totally remember seeing it now
@@TosTinManEasyCooking (I have a Deer Tenderloin out thawing, after watching this post, it'll be sliced into Medallions very soon
@@clinteastwood4704Sir, it’s venison, not deer meat. Please, for the love of God, crawl yourself out of the hollar. Thank you.
Annie has good taste.
It is impossible to find venison in my country.
Even cow and lamb meat is very expensive here.Have a good day Jim.
I live in Ohio and we eat a lot of deer because it's plentiful and healthy and keeps the population under control. People shouldn't feel guilty about eating it any more than eating another meat. Also it's healthy for pets.
That's cool. I used to hunt years ago but I have too many ailments these days.
🙂👍🥂
Watched this video to late to cook again.> i think

It was decent for grilling; he does a good job on these. I just wish he’d spend time on showing a fully dressed plate. He has to make sure viewers want to make this and he’s simply not dragging them into that camp. His videos need to be longer. If the title and thumbnail are attractive, an extra 5 minutes of creative cooking content could really turn this channel around. I still give it a thumbs up with the aforementioned shortcomings; at least it’s not another toaster oven air fryer whatever tf video. I hold out hope.
