that Coleman is not running correctly I can see flame up in the vent. Use the tip cleaner after you light. If that doesn't work you may need to clean the air intake and or the generator.
A properly running 200A will be so bright that you won’t be able to look directly at it. You should be able to get yours there with just a minor amount of maintenance. If you’re unfamiliar with the maintenance process, Frank Bebb has an excellent video showing the complete tear down and restoration on his oldtowncoleman UA-cam channel. 200A’s are awesome little lanterns.
looks like your 200A is not running the way it should. There shouldn't be a yellow flame going up around the mantle after it has heated up. This is usually caused by the air tube being obstructed by a spider web or other things, causing the lantern to run too lean. Once you get that fixed it'll be no contest against a wick lantern. disassembly is easy on this model. You take it apart the same way you did to get the globe off. Then all you need to do to remove the frame is take the small nut off at the base of the frame. Run a pipe cleaner or a piece of frayed wire through the air tube and that should clear most obstructions. Don't use compressed air, it doesn't work very well at removing spider webs.
THE PRESSURE LANTEEN SHOULD BE MUCH MUCH BRIGHTER THAN THE KEROSENE ONE. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE FIXED. MAYBE CLEAN GENERATOR. CHECK PRESSURE. NEW FUEL....
I wouldn't have thought of opening the fuel cap slowly to let any pressure out, so thanks for mentioning that.
No problem!
Great Lantern you got there. Nice first Fire up.
Thank you!!
Thanks for posting awesome light up content ✨️
Any time!

Thank you. I was hoping that it would come out of it.

Thank you. I will definitely check out his channel.

Thanks!! I plan on tinkering with it more in the future.
Try the tip cleaner
Definitely. I plan on tinkering with it as time allows.
I think that fresh fuel would burn brighter . I know it makes a difference in stoves . Old fuel burns but not as hot or bright as new fuel
I definitely would believe it. This fuel has some age on it.
Wait... Your saying lantern fuel is flammable? No way! I dont believe that.
🤷♂️ it’s more volatile than kerosene.

It definitely didn’t seem as bright as it should be. I plan to tinker with it some more.
