THAT'S WHAT YOU CALL A DYNAMIC SAX PLAYER, AN ORIGINAL, HE STANDS OUT FROM THE ORDINARY SAX PLAYERS, YOU'LL REMEMBER HIM LONGER THAN ORDINARY SAX PLAYERS, WHEN I SAY ORDINARY SAX PLAYERS THAT DOESN'T MEAN THEIR BEGGINERS, THEY ALL ARE ADVANCED GREAT PLAYERS, THEY SOUND SIMILAR TO EACH OTHER BUT THIS GUY IS UNIQUE, HE'S ONE OF A KIND, BUT AGAIN THAT'S ONLY MY OPINION

The one thing that I'm jealous of is his blazing fast, clean and delicate single tonguing. I'm working on that hard now.

It’s actually not single tonging. It’s the illusion of single tonguing. I’m actually slurring as i transition between tones.

Would also love to hear your dry sound during these types of warm-ups. Because many of us nurture a similar sound. Your reference would be greatly appreciated. Stay awesome!

How do you get such a bright tone? It sounds like an electric current running through the instrument. Not sure how else to describe it haha.

I literally used to meditate on an electricity, lightning as well as pure sunlight etc while trying to get the sound to match it.
Also, I got to see Bob Berg play in a high school gymnasium when I was about 14 years old. It was one of the most incredible sounds I’ve ever heard in my life… I remember thinking it was like electricity.

Sax sound is all composition of the harmonics, not mouthpiece. Although wedges/baffles can actually inhibit the upper harmonics as they draw energy into the mid range frequencies (1000-3000 hertz) and away from the really extended harmonics. Also, after you play an instrument for a very long time, the harmonics begin to match your spirit or soul design. Hence, the radically different tones produced by so many players!
