I remember the good old days of tearing off roofs . My dad had me up there when I was kid . You ain't never worked hard until you tear off a roof. Especially the roofs with three layers underneath. Those were brutal and back then we didn't have no special equipment, we used good old fashion scrapers and muscle 💪
i can LITERALLY SMELL the tear off. that damn fiber board.....and ive been out of roofing for 10 years now. the memories
Yes i do it all the time and your not lying very exciting im excited to do it tomorrow
Nothing easy about that.
Why are they ripping the covering off?, was it leaking?
I'm 99% sure that the cameraman is the foreman😅
I do this work for a living in Maine we have our safety line six ft off edge that's OSHA regulations it's 15ft for anyone not a roofer was that an active cold tar pitch rip I love a good pitch rip that separates out real roofers from the soft p**sy roofers looks good cheers
Guy is pussy footing that warrior too
Them new guys on a cold tar pitch , watching their skin burn on the ride back to the motel because they didn't cover up properly. Memories
My first day of roofing was a pitch tear off. 2021 in Michigan with the brutal 90°F while being humid asf, no clouds for shade to take a break. Remember it like it was yesterday. Really does prove who's a badass or a bitch
@@its_a_lexus4569I always avoid the idiots that try to hard hard tearing off pitch like a jack-off. Get a hose up there and wet the shit down to minimize the dust.
@@its_a_lexus4569the light skin guys would turn into tomatoes lol
Definitely a safety violation regarding the warning line system positioning. The warning line is much too close to the leading edge and should never sit on top of a parapet wall. The OSHA standard, 1926.502(f)(1)(ii) states that the warning line should be erected no less than 6' from the leading edge which is parallel to the directions of the mechanical equipment operation, and not less than 10' from the leading edge perpendicular to the direction of the mechanical equipment operation.
Also, due to the fact that the warning line setup is incorrect, every employee working on this roof should then be required to have fall protection at all times via some form of a personal fall arrest system, which they are not. Should OSHA inspect this jobsite the company is looking at receiving several serious violations which would equal thousands of dollars in fine.
Employee safety and OSHA compliance should always be top priority so these are issues that should be addressed immediately going forward.
LOL what a freak
@@MariusNinjai A freak for pointing out the importance of safety in the workplace? Falls are the leading cause of worker injury/fatalities each year.
Major violations that would make OSHA LOTS OF $$$$$$
Definitely a Hack roofing company with NO SAFETY AWARENESS
@@jaredjoray5911 safety first 👍 roofing can kill you
Nothing wouldn’t get done .
