Like the JU, the FM can produce alot of sounds. Pads, leads, basses maybe. The core differnce is the JU is a normal subractive synth and the FM well an FM synth. Apart from the presets, FM synths can be a bit of a handfull to programm and produce mostly metallic sounds where as the JU can produce far more familair sounds although with the classic Juno sound. Personally, i love my JU and thought about buying an FM but i stepped away from small synths and volca’s not long a go. But i think FM can be a great choice considering its only like 120 bucks and most importantly, it sounds pretty great (with a nice reverb).
Hi, sorry for the late response! I just tried to copy the video below and ended up with this. The core sample should be somewhere in ableton lite (free version) and then just low passed and some other tricks from the video below. It’s actually a great tutorial on how to try to get some different sounding kicks. ua-cam.com/video/kuEg2SDOMco/v-deo.html
Thank you! the drones are some JU-06A pads sampled in ableton. after that i threw a big reverb on there and catched the tail. then threw another reverb on top etc until i got a sustained sound. the second higher one is basically the same but with a shimmer reverb! so actaully really little synthwork going on but just pure reverb you can do it with any sample i believe!
Sorry for the audio cut at 1 min. had some recording issues.
Haha
I thought it was me and it made me wonder wtf I did wrong this time
@@4rch3nemy hahaha me too

enjoying!
Glad to hear !
Nice!
Thank you man !
How do you get the pad and the Arpeggio to play at the same time?
Pad is a sample played from the TR8-S mate, JU isn’t multitimbral unfortunately
very impressive, especially with this minimal setup! no external effects, right?
Thanks! Yeah, what you see is what you get!
wow!

Such a nice performance (beer helps of course). Is it possible to compare the JU-06A vs. Volca FM? What do you think about it? Thanks in advance!

The kick drum gave me the chills
Sounds great. Where are the pads coming from, what machine/daw?

@@DarkLightTechnoah cool! thanks for the explanation. The ju makes me consider switching my sh-01a for it!
@@TheRobinVisscher i think they’ll work together really well!
Ju 06A running with batteries too 🤔
Nope, the white USB cable supplies the power. Batteries don't last very long on the JU
Affligem ? it means that your from blegium ? france ? or maybe netherlands ?
Hahah sharp eye, dutch indeed! Best beer out there!
@@DarkLightTechno cheers from france mates
@@za3look1 cheers!
Zero questions about hardware, but beer always needs to be identified. One day i’ll try this one.
@@wickeddubz you’ll have to! Really recommend it, i believe it even won some awards some time a go!
