Hand Engraving - Playing with Stippling.

- Nothing serious, just playing a little with stippling.. this is when my Lindsay AirGraver is idling, so I´m not sure this can be called bulino or just stippling, but anyway, it´s just dots.. just playing with the technique to see what I can get out of it :-)
And I wanted to test the text tracking in Davinci Resolve.. works pretty good.
Should I put more videos like this, just with a finished result? :-)
These types or videos are great , late night here and didn’t want to start up the compressor and engrave but this gave me the inspiration to draw up a design on some metal

I hope that later there will be a video explaining the shape of the bulino chisel and technique, that will be interesting for sure
Yea definitely, but still a big subject I’m exploring too.. so when I start a project I’ll try to capture the process. :-)

This is the pattern for your brush tutorial. I bought it earlier and the brush to draw the scroll works great! It's just too bad I can't do what you do in your instructional videos. Because I have no painting foundation.
Oh glad you like the brushes! :-) It’s only practice.. a few years ago I could not draw scrolls at all.. Keep at it and you’ll get there for sure, but it requires a lot of practice.. at least it did for me :-)

I like Chanel, you always bring new things and beginners like need a lot of information. is that a pacifier? or bulino but i call it maybe scrimshaw. I've done it on the bone. oh when did you make a video sharpening and trying to do it? Your video suggestion should be longer. get your voice out give an explanation it will be more interesting for sure. regards
Yea I have some plans and ideas with the videos, just struggling a little with time and just experiencing a little :-) I think scrimshaw is more in bone, not metal.. but the technique might be the same.

Thanks! :-) I was just playing Friday funday.. anyway, first I scratched with a scriber pen. Any sharp metal tip.. then I used the Lindsay Airgraver for the stippling dots. :-)
