Looks like yo are still working between the rains! Seems to be the same everywhere. I hope to get 4 hours into my build today -- but it will likely be 2 hours the way the weather has been! It is always so nice getting the roof started -- I envy your progress, the little barn is looking fantastic Al! Also, when you were looking for that barbed fitting, your buckets of stuff reminded me of my setup until last winter. I had ten 5 gallon pails full of hardware, fittings, etc. from when we first moved and everything spilled. I took several weeks last winter and got everything semi sorted and into bins, drawers, and other containers. I still have a week or-so this coming winter to finish the job! Winter is a great time to catch-up on that sort of thing...
Al all I can say is you are one monster when it comes to taking on all the projects that you have accomplished over these last few years. I admire your tenacity and knowledge with whatever you do and your faith has truly shined through and HE has certainly blessed you with your family annd your life and congrats on your first 100 thousand subscribers and I know you will achieve many more hundreds of thousands of subscribers over the years. God Bless from the Maniac who now lives in Colorado. haffy
It is just amazing that you are about to put the roof on already! I know you're safe but I get a sick feeling in my gut watching you up there. I pray that God keeps you safe from harm. Blessings to all.
Now you realize once the barn is done Gina is going to make you clean the basement! I like the longer videos I go into withdraws on days you don't do videos. Last week I had to go back into your old videos and watch you build the outdoor kitchen. top notch A++ as always Al
The company that sold you the barn should pay you to use your videos edited to promote the do it your self barn kit!You are amazing and brave .Love watching your channel.
“Perfect fit guys” That’s because you are on the mark putting the structure into place; no racking, no twists, sloppiness, Anyone who was sort of thinking of a shed, cabin, or small barn will have the confidence to do it after watching your videos! I like it!
Over the last 50 years it's been my experience that anything you drop will always land at the worst possible place. If you're working on your car and drop a bolt, it will roll under to the center of the car. If you're building a barn and drop your hammer, it will land on and puncture your air hose. It's the way the universe works. I just try not to take it personal, keep a positive attitude, and do what I have to do to continue my work, exactly like you did. The barn is looking great, I'm pretty impressed with that kit you got.
I really love the way the new barn is looking forward for many years from now on your UA-cam channel... You are the only family on UA-cam that has been a ever day vidoes that I love watching a new one every day... So thanks for your love and support on your channel...
Thank you for reading my Comments and keep them coming have you tried any Natural Oils to keep the Nate away I can see them flying around as your working it probably body heat and sweat from your brow that attract them . Put a few drops and a good
Congratulations on the hundred thousand. Awesome job on Barn built one suggestion that I found that helped me out a lot as I have a toolbox set up specially for air tools it's got all my fittings , gauges all that kind of stuff and some tools for changing outfitting since very helpful especially when you're on a job site and like you said you lose the whole day just chasing down one fitting to get the job done. God bless 🙏😇
Oh Al you crack me up!! I just find you so charming. I hope you feel so accomplished that you and your family are so successful at this build! It’s amazing to watch you do this!
WOW, one man doing all that work is just unreal to me. I know it probably happens but usually it's at least two people, so you are really to be commended, on doing a great job. Thanks for sharing.
As always, I'm always impressed with your carpentry skills. You gave a very valuable hint about a person constructing a barn that someone else has purchased. But, I thoroughly am intrigued about how you go about solving any challenges you might encounter while constructing your barn. I know nothing about carpentry, but have picked up some valuable hints by watching you. It's fun to see your enthusiasm when you're building something, I hate it when you have to end the day's video. Keep up the good work!!
This is the first time I have seen your existing storage of your workshop items. Its going to be fun watching you set up your workshop after the barn is built and get it organized the way you like. I do love an organization video!
Al, for 15 years I have watched my husband do MANY home projects, from roofing to concrete countertops to walkways, etc. But when you said you were building a barn by yourself I really wondered??? Bravo, you have captured my interest and I wait everyday to see if you have posted!!! Thanks, Al
Al you’re like a squirrel on that roof. You are brave, wouldn’t find me up there. Dominic should pay you for making such an in depth video on how to build this barn. It’s a great how to. Congrats on reaching 102k subscribers. So much hard work has been put into your channel. Awesome to watch your channel grow. I’ve been watching your channel since you had 3k. I do miss how you used to interact with your viewers in comments but with so much growth some things are lost. It’s been fun to watch your channel and homestead grow. Take care, see ya :)
I remember you once talking about all the excess energy you had growing up. Look what the application of your inner drive has produced! We are amazing when we are in the groove ☺ . That was a helpful comment regarding sub contracting to help other customers build these barn kits. Great thought!
You are the epitome of a “can do” attitude and “all for my family” kind of man. You are instilling so much inspiration to all those wannabe homesteaders. Be safe, know that we’re all out here admiring all you do and wishing you have a joyous day! Catherine from Canada 🇨🇦
What an amazing journey here! One man builds a barn! You should be the poster child for Jamaica. ! Congrats on your hard work and be safe. Blessings from NE Missouri!
Awesome to see that you didnt phone 20 friends to do it while you film it. Great job great to see a hard working homesteader. As it should be. Keep up with the amazing videos.
The precision with all the cuts couldn't be any more impressive. If I ever wanted an outer building of any kind this company would be my first choice. Great job.
Good morning Al! Barn is looking fantastic. You're going to have fun this winter getting all the bits and parts organized in the workshop. I bet Olivia would have a blast with a label gun.

But I still check for your videos faithfully, come to check your videos and make sure I jump to the spots i want to see. Love seeing your morning routine with your animals! 💟 I'm sure you'll be excited to finally have the goats in the barn! Have a good day!

#lumnahacres Gooood Mornin Al. I have to say thank you for the barn building videos. I didn't think I would be interested at first because of all the stuff involved with it. I have to say that I have learned a few things by watching the videos and I'm always one for learning. It keeps the mind on its toes. I saw the video of Hope's sister. So Hope is still weighing less than Fern, but she's the same height. I think Hope's cuter too. Glad Olivia got to enjoy a swim day. I hope everyone, including the animals, are enjoying this nice weather. Later.
Good morning Lumnah family. Another great video watched while having my morning coffee. I am going to have to be careful now singing Love Shack. Remember being agile like you and helping with roofing, and now live through you. Have a blessed day and all looks wonderful.
Amazing work Al. From the cinematography, to the editing, to all the work/chores you do and share with us I am constantly impressed with your skills and tenacity. Well done! Thank you for all you do, I certainly enjoy and appreciate every single thing you post. (here and across all social media) Wow.
Exactly. While many could watch this and appreciate he is doing this on his own, some do not consider how he sets up each shot, has multiple cameras not shown (even drones, do they just hover unattended?), is set designer, cinematographer, editor etc also. A one man film crew and movie maker. AND building a barn, planning months in advance. It's exhausting to watch.

Hey Al, you have about the same luck I have at times. I probably would have knocked the valve off of the tank or something crazy like that. I've been mowing the lawn and trimming brush in the evening and early morning some of the mowing in the dark using the headlights. Been having heat indexes in the 110s during the days and scattered t-storms everyday. Your moving right along on things and your doing great work. Well I'll wish you and yours health happiness and prosperity. Larry

Lone man builds barn and films build at the same time! Amazing work! Here I am sitting on a couch watching you build and about to lose my lunch for fear of falling, haha!
Good morning looking so good great progress on the barn. Yesterday i went and watched the journey of how you got Hope i just love her she's my fav on here. And I do love rhe babies but hope it my fav . Thanks for sharing your lides with Us abd cant wait to see more.
Hey Al! Found out how much Hopes sister weighs and how tall she is. She's a moose at 38lbs. and 17 ins. Our little girl Hope may be smaller in size but she is so.much larger in grit, attitude, and personality! Her rough beginning (mom rejecting her fighting to get milk from goats that didn't want to give it, coming here and having it hard with the herd) has made her stronger, yet she hasn't lost her sweetness to people. You so have shown her so much love and taken such good care of her. It means a lot to me. Hope you don't think me too silly! lol 💓💛💚💙💜
@@warnerrobins8542 she came from DaNelle at Weed em and Reap. You can watch video of Hope's early days. She was born on live cam and rejected by her mom.
GM Al, how beautiful the farm looks in the morning mist and all those lovely wild flowers! I wonder will you breed all 3 of the older goats next time? Please give ❤️🍎HOPE🍎❤️a cuddle from me.
You had my knees knocking when u were tightening the racket strap , the head cam made it look like everything was shacking ,now the barb is near solid you start to realise how big it is , great job
Most likely Al has at least a few years of construction experience under his belt. He reminds me of my father who worked in this field for awhile. After switching to a different profession, he continued to build and renovate every weekend because he found it very therapeutic. The only work he was forbidden to do was installing electrical wiring because our state required this by done by a licensed electrician. I wish I had had the interest to learn this when younger. It's a valuable skill to have.
When I was in High School I took Woodshop and Metal Shop (I'm a girl). Helped my dad work on cars (held the flashlight mostly , but he explained he was cleaning the carburetor, etc), helped my husband work on cars. I still kick myself for not taking autoshop. At any rate, my kids are in their early and late 20's now, and they did not even OFFER these classes for them and I did not have the equipment to teach them. Although my husband was a construction worker he showed no interest in teaching them. You never know someone's situation. Mostly he was in the bar drinking and I was on my own raising children the best I could. It's difficult to learn if no one is teaching. You see how many tools Al has. Really shouldn't judge others.
hey Al,huge congrats on reaching and exceeding that special number of 100,000 subscribers ,its well deserved and you should be rightfully proud of yourself .....Nice.....also awesome to see you getting to the roof section of the barn raising, although i have taken a sharp intake of breath when your balanced on them boards for fear you may fall,but.... Boom.... ya didnt ....keep the vids coming buddy, awsome job all round.....i like it !!!
The barn is looking nice I got to see one of the videos putting the siding up. The rest I missed because my daughter and I was in west Africa on a mission trip with our church.
Ladies and Gentleman, the US Olympic Gymnastics team proudly presents Al Lumnah on the Balance Beam. What a flawless routine he brings to the barn. lol
This act scared me, I had to stop to read the comments. Seeing this gave me the courage to go back and watch the rest - though logic had told me it would not have been posted if he had fallen. Still, I did appreciate the comment!!
Al, that ridge line spacing was crazy! Got blessed on that one. The barn looks great. I was getting tense for you a couple times when shots panned to the floor. Being able to climb around like that on high structures...I cannot even imagine. Makes it interesting from here though I must say.
Awesome once again! It's funny you said something about going around and building these barns. I was thinking about that after the first couple of videos
That barn is coming along so fast! Good thing you have some prior knowledge on building. I would've forgot the nails toward the end there.... glad that Hope is 9 pounds less than her sister. She's so cute. And Little P is learning to hop into the feeder too. So are you keeping the little man goat?
Good mawnin Al! Got my coffee, let’s get this roof up! Glad Livy got to go swimming! We will ( lol, by we I mean you!) have this barn done in no time. Please be careful. You scare the stuffing out of me up there alone and without a harness. You sure do great work though! Take care my friend.love to Gina and Olivia!👋

Al you are such an amazing man, you are doing a fantastic job on your barn. Enjoying watching your progress come to life. Be safe.
Really awesome job showing us the past few days how to build the barn house. Cant wait to see the outcome of it!
Getting the vapors watching you move around up there! Such precision and attention to detail! Mighty impressive Al! Making great progress! Love shack!
I just can’t stop being amazed how one man can bring up a barn. Congrats and be safe ok?
@@chronos401 he quit his construction job to do UA-cam full time. He helped build houses for several years.
Watching you fit everything together one piece at a time makes me think you are petty good at doing puzzles too. LOL!!
You are the construction barn champion it is amazing I liked it.
Your barn is awesome!! I am salivating

The barn is looking nice I got to see one of the videos putting the siding up. The rest I missed because my daughter and I was in west Africa on a mission trip with our church.

Ladies and Gentleman, the US Olympic Gymnastics team proudly presents Al Lumnah on the Balance Beam.
What a flawless routine he brings to the barn. lol
Great comment!
Ha! Should be Roger Kaiser "Clever" Guy. ;)
@Roger Kaiser Crafty Guy ,
It helps to have experience and to be young and spry. It would take me , months and months to build that barn.
This act scared me, I had to stop to read the comments. Seeing this gave me the courage to go back and watch the rest - though logic had told me it would not have been posted if he had fallen. Still, I did appreciate the comment!!
🇬🇧 I enjoy most of the Olympic Gymnastics but not the Balance Beam as it makes my hair legs stand on end.
Al, that ridge line spacing was crazy! Got blessed on that one. The barn looks great. I was getting tense for you a couple times when shots panned to the floor. Being able to climb around like that on high structures...I cannot even imagine. Makes it interesting from here though I must say.
You make it look easy Al 🇺🇸👍🇺🇸👍
That company should pay you for this video of building their kit! Amazing precise job! 👍🏻🥰
Al......you got it goin on buddy. You are a professional. It's gonna be nice when you get done.
Awesome once again! It's funny you said something about going around and building these barns. I was thinking about that after the first couple of videos
Love watching the barn raising!! Great job!!
Thank You, very much for the video, patient, methodical, focused, with fantastic result.
That barn is looking good. Stay safe. Hugs and Prayers ya'll oh! congrats on the 100k
Al, you're like the energizer bunny!
Al you are unbelievable. Great job!
